Look on the previous page where it talks about Atton being some sort of protege for Carth. I'm referencin the ages to show that it is possible, but I think it unlikely. Carth is too smart and good-natured to hang about with a sleazy slob like nerfherder Atton. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah. That was me. I was just trying to make a humorous parallel to Saul/Carth.

*sighs* Oh well. Back to the drawing board....

Pardon me, but Im lost as to where you are trying to incorporate the ages. What are you referencing those for?

***Wild Speculation/Maybe Spoiler***
DarthDoGooder replied to SilverSun's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ahh! SPOILERS! j/k. Seriously though, wouldn't that be a cool twist? Well, not now....but if you hadn't said it, it would be! -
Begone! All of you! Ermmm....I meant c-ya.
-
Oh. That one. His problems with everyone? Maybe Carth was his mentor and then Carth turned on him? Wait....that one's been done hasn't it? :D If he really is the new Carth, then he will die. Even if it jeopardizes my LS status, he will die. Speculation? I haven't heard much about Atton so I don't know. As to who is the smaller threat: I am a Jedi, and Kreia is a Jedi. Atton is not. Who is the bigger threat? Not Atton.

If she was blind, she would be one of the cooles jedi ever! fighting totally blind!? Man, you really have to be powerful in the force to pull that of!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay. Time to be a geek. She really wouldn't have to be that powerful in the force to fight blind, theoretically. Luke was blindfolded in one of the movies and was deflecting shots while blindfolded. And he was still getting started. In response to the "Atton info...discuss" by Kazic, which article are you mentioning? "Dirty Talk and Influence"?

Okay, first of all, I suggested "illicit" as the word you were looking for since you weren't sure about lucrative. And since the magazine is being sold (or will be) then it kind of is. Secondly, Darth Nihilus....Revan or Malak? Doubt it. REALLY doubt it, but maybe...
-
What about "illicit information"?

DesertHawk? Very funny. Enjoyed that a lot. EDIT: Actually, syed. He didn't say everyone was dead. Just all of the republic soldiers. (Hint:Think Sith.) Also, try editing your posts instead of making several at once.

On the Harbinger or in general? If you mean the latter, then I sincerely hope you're kidding. Or do you mean on Peragus?

Kotor2.com easter eggs
DarthDoGooder replied to Dark_Consular's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Okay, hold up. Not literally Jad'en. I've gone to that site, and when I click on the buttons nothing shows up. I mean, nothing. Well, I do have the border and tabs and so forth but no text in the window. Anyways, I noticed that by clicking around I made the site change and got the wallpapers in a matter of a minute or so. Why isn't anything coming up on my screen when I click a tab? My Flash, Java, and all the rest are completely upgraded so it's nothing with my browser. -

Here's a new one: Does anyone know anything about the actual storyline. Not speculations on the characters, items, or powers. Other than...you wake up on PS, does anyone have any idea where the storyline goes? I don't think so b/c it hasn't been mentioned, but....

Mandalore is more of a title than a person. 'Mandalore' is whoever happens to lead the Mandalorians at the time, I'm pretty sure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You would be right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahhh. that explains a lot. I love Star Wars stuff, but I simply do not have time to follow all of the different cultures and so forth. Thanks for explaining.

White?

What about HK, T3, and Canderous? I don't think there is any way at all to kill those three in the first game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those were the only 3 you couldn't kill, which is why I think Canderous is mandalore: 1. he was one of the more well liked characters 2. the other 2 surviving characters (t3 and hk) both were brought back (even though you have to fix hk) so it stands to reason they'd bring back the last of the surviving charies as well and 3. He seems like a good candidate for mandalore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait a sec. Explain this to me then: Why did he always refer to Madalore in 3rd person? Also, if he admired Revan so much, why wouldn't he have told Revan that he was Mandalore? [/suspicious] I don't see why he couldn't be, but there would be a few inconsistencies if he was, wouldn't there?

*confused* So, what happens if you betray a betrayer? Partly joking, partly not.... -
What will your character
DarthDoGooder replied to Darth Arachne's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That was fun stuff. I loved doing that. -
Okay, sorry to waste your time on this, but I have a dumb question that needs to be asked: Is it me or is something wrong with the new KOTOR 2 site? All that I can access is some Wallpapers. Why doesn't any new info pop up when I click on the tabs?
-
In response to Laozi, I never said that I wanted to see them or if they were good chars - only that there might be a possibility they are in. In response to Ludozee, I thought he was likely as well.

Funny. I was an evil b*tch an didn't get that opportunity somehow. Something to note about how they didn't mention as much about Mira or Mandalore. Time/Space constraints? How far did they play? (I would assume all the way, but are we sure?) Also, it might be simply that they didn't have the space to write all about these other characters, or that the other characters have more plot-sensitive info about them.
-
One thought: In regard to what you just said, it could be entirely possible that, as in the first game, one of the characters is from a past part of the storyline. (Well, duh.) And if you recount the past as Revan being evil and let's say that, Atton was influenced by Revan then his starting alignment might be evil. Sort of an obvious view, but I thought Id put it out there. Okay, two things Im curious about: 1. Since we couldn't kill Carth in the first game, what do you think the chances are that we'll get to kill Atton if decide that we don't like him? 2. We might not see much of the original party but who thinks that we'll see something out of, say, Carth's son? Or Mission's brother?

*pulls out blaster and shoots the Jar-Jar impersonator* Simple, really. If they had straightforward names where would the mystery be? We can't have that. There must be...hidden things. Things that are only revealed in the huge mid-game plot twist! Seriously though, I agree that it gets annoying.
-
Almost like that situation with the Cathar? Starts with a J...can't remember. Oh well. Personally, I think that some of those "opportunities" are rather dumb. Now, personally, I always play through LS first, but can you imagine that? You fight someone, cut them up, huge battle, and then you try to make peace with them? Im more of a dark Light-sider. "Cleanse the galaxy of evil!". After all, it would be just my luck that when I asked them to come back to the LS they would take the opportunity to stab me. EDIT: Post #404! Jedi not found?....
