He lived off of saying controversial things. It was never an issue up until it was decided overnight that its time for it to become an issue. Literally overnight. http://archive.is/Rhjcj (note timestamp) In the end he's just a pawn, and throwing him under the bus was easier than the alternative. But by doing so they are playing into the shaming game the "establishment/MSM" are running.

Now you're just trolling here! Not for the blue boobs *or* the combat? What else is there?

That's not really very different from how it was in 1 and 2, and also in 3, to a lesser degree. It also doesn't help at all that the guy playing is a total scrub that can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn (trying to hit airborne targets with a grenade launcher? really?) and endowed with the situational awareness of a deaf bat. Compare: and Same game, different experience. In this case, PEBKAC...

Is it, though? And what do you mean that science teachers don't have the educational background to effectively teach evolution? Aren't HS science teachers supposed to be, uh, scientists themselves? Regardless, it appears that not all religions are created equal when dealing with the fact that we're descended from tadpoles swimming in filth. http://www.pewforum.org/2009/02/04/religious-differences-on-the-question-of-evolution/ The video reminded me of something I was reading the other day, a thorough "refutation" of evolution from an epistemological standpoint, by a Muslim "scholar" (quotation marks because he's considered a fraud by some Muslims apparently) who was trained in a US university. http://www.masud.co.uk/ISLAM/nuh/evolve.htm Funny thing is, it's a reply to a question from an actual Muslim biologist, of all people, trying to come to terms with the fact that evolution is kufr. Richard Dawkins may look like a bit of a man on a mission of late, but I have massive respect for the man and ultimately he's trying to fight against the idiocy that is the idea that "I'm entitled to my opinion".

A decker with focus on rifles is actually not a bad choice at all. You're already getting the datajack and smartlink guns are better than their vanilla counterparts. It's just that you won't be able to make an excellent decker/rigger *with* focus on rifles because there's just not enough XP to go around. Ditch the rigging then, it's a support skill and I don't think there were many instances where you could use it on runs. While a rigger is totally optional, a decker for the most part isn't. That being said, you'll have a hard time being as handy in a firefight as Eiger. They made their NPCs that way, they just rule at what they do... except the decker, heh.

I just don't get the appeal. I never sit down to play a video game and think "I really want to see some blue boobs after I shoot a bunch of stuff." The romances are dumb enough. Yeah, that blue **** is just gross. I mean, Miranda and the soldier chick were bangin'. Down with those filthy aliens and the degenerates that are into them! This time we're getting krogan though, so I reserve the right to change my mind.

As Starwars said, you do get a decker, but he's kind of annoying and weak. And by taking him on runs, you miss out on the other (IMO better) characters, which are beasts at their respective roles. I felt the game nudged you a bit too hard into rolling a decker/rigger yourself. Which is a kickass combo, btw.

Ah. So who's the Daedalus in this story then? Bannon? Your comment about Breitbart's influence is just another point for Guard Dog's "ban the internet" initiative, I reckon.

The whole brouhaha over his remarks seems pretty artificial to me. It's pretty sad that the topic in question is such a taboo that just sharing his personal perspective automatically has him labelled as a pedophilia apologist (despite the fact that pedophilia specifically refers to sexual attraction to prepubescent children, which doesn't reflect the case he described). Dropping him from conferences and cancelling his book contract is exactly the kind of persecution that "the left" is accused of in favor of PC. While I find it hilarious that "the right" are getting their collective panties all bunched up in exactly the same way, it's hard to dispute that this has all the looks of a character assassination.

Just play story mode. I could, but I'm not sure that would be a solution for me. Does story mode reduce the amount of trash pulls? In the temple under the first town, it felt like literally in every room it was a repetition of the fight I just had in the previous one, only a toss-up between shadows or rat men-things. Forest? Wolves behind every tree, etc. I enjoyed both IWDs and those games also had areas with too much trash (Dragon's Eye) that almost made me quit. But at least by the time you reached those areas there was more variety in enemies and/or abilities to mitigate the drudgery, and the narrative investment at that point was greater. Same thing with DAO and the Derp Roads. You throw that **** at me in the beginning? Not gonna bother. I wasn't particularly gripped by the plot so far and the setting either, so the game clearly just isn't for me. Funny, I replayed Tyranny twice. I also have this huge backlog including D:OS and Underrail so it's not like I need to put myself through this.

Again tried to get into PoE... again got bored to tears and uninstalled within the first 5 hours. I'm sure it gets interesting at some point, cba to find out when, though. Combat is such a chore.

I'll miss playing as a Dutch underpants model. I'm not expecting great things from Andromeda, but the gameplay looks similar enough to ME3 that I'll probably get my money's worth from the MP, and that's all I care about at this point.

Chemotherapy? No, that was a bare bones analogy I made, based on how both aren't always successful and sometimes even detrimental. Originally we were talking about how the State of Cali shouldn't "subsidize vacations for the poor" and then that got lumped together with SRS being covered as part of employment benefits for public workers in California, and then boob jobs... It's one of those tangents here in WoT. I don't complain, it's either this or nazis/commies.

That the treatment isn't 100% guaranteed to work and may in some cases make things worse is a valid objection, but not necessarily an argument against it being publicly subsidized, and in no way justifies putting it on the same level as cosmetic surgery. You'd have to dig into medical literature and meta-analyses -provided there are any- to get an accurate picture of the effectiveness of the treatment. I haven't read the NatGeo issue you linked, but from what I've read/watched it's not the kind of publication that deals with topics that way (not a diss, it's just not a scientific journal). People getting chemotherapy end up like **** 100% of the time... provided they survive, which often they don't. Sometimes, it's going to make a cancer patient's last days a living hell. Doesn't mean insurance shouldn't cover it.

Yeah. Dude had a big boner about the US being "the world's paramount power" and was a lead thinker in developing a strategy to maintain and expand that status through openly imperialist policies, centered especially on Central Asia (cf. The Grand Chessboard). Seems to have made a 180 lately though, what with the Chinese and Russians not being especially receptive and the whole Middle East situation spinning out of control. Still, the remark was about hubris.

They published scientific papers so advanced that the physics community couldn't agree whether they were geniuses or charlatans. But really, it's just the latest in a series of dank memes, following in the steps of Moon Man and Pepe the Frog. #StraightOutta/pol/

The Army approved the op in late 2016, but no precise date so far. Not sure he's even getting HRT, probably is, because that's usually required before getting signed off for surgery. And they recently made him cut his hair to comply with prison regulation or something. Dude was apparently rather unstable even before being imprisoned, but I'm no authority. I wonder. If instead of making the outtie an innie, the issue could be "fixed" with brain surgery, would folks be more accepting of that being paid for with taxpayer money? In the end it's a surgical procedure either way, is it really important what part of the body they are operating on?

No, I did read your comment. I just don't understand why you assume that the ~75% of Californians surveyed are retards and won't just go for cheaper lodging outside of the premium areas, if they want to go to the beach, choosing instead not to go at all. The report states that getting to the beach is actually one of the bigger hurdles (the other being a dearth of available economy accomodations). Thus, the farther they have to go, the greater the cost. Yes, California has 1,400 km of coast, but that's not a terribly relevant bit of data because coastline doesn't mean beach, beach doesn't mean accessible beach, and accessible beach doesn't mean publicly accessible beach. See here. To no one's surprise, the most densely packed beach access points correspond to the most expensive areas. If you want to wager that averages would "drop by at least 30-40%" if you drop the areas south of Santa Barbara and the SF Bay (any other areas you'd like to exclude?), I think you would lose, considering that Pismo Beach, another data point in the survey was $187 per night on average. Still far, even if you reduced it by 40%, from the $82 a median income Californian beachgoer is willing to pay, according to the study. It is known that when reporting in this fashion, people tend to underestimate values, but still. And I'm not trying to twist your stance on taxes. It's funny because I agree that taxes are theft -- they are after all taken by force, with no recourse. But what you consider wasteful and frivolous, to someone else is rightful and fair. It's a subjective matter that inevitably leads to people getting dollars they haven't worked for, from people that worked for but didn't get them. Are you psychic? Manning hasn't undergone surgery yet.

You won't get any argument from me that fixing the dam should be a higher priority. That being said, the bill was introduced on January 30th, and the dam failed a week later, so the timing just doesn't work as you presented it. Regardless, the bill is a response to research by UCLA that found that, on average, going to the beach is not affordable for many some certain an amount of Californians. Your counterpoint that "you lived in Florida and you could go to the beach" is simply not how research is discredited. Read the report, find flaws with it if you must, and make an argument based on that. Apparently California has a longstanding legislative commitment to make coastal access a reality for everyone. You might disagree with that but that's a different topic. I appreciate your perspective that "nobody should get a dollar they didn't work for", but if you're going to have any taxes at all, that's pretty much a given. I don't like taxes either, but the alternative is abolishing the social contract as it is. You down for that?
-
From what I read, the bill aims to develop new and maintain already existing low-cost lodgings, not "subsidize vacations for the poor". Looks to me that you could benefit from that yourself, if you wanted to, but I could be wrong. A band-aid at best, as far as addressing wealth inequality is concerned. And the Oroville Dam seems to have failed because of cavitation-related damage which wasn't considered when it was designed ~50 years ago, not because of the international left's conspiracy to sap and impurify all of your precious bodily fluids. Wiki also says the 2005 request to reinforce the emergency spillway was turned down by Federal authorities, not commies in the Cali assembly.

The law is powerless to *help* you, not punish you — Clancy Wiggum Good luck with your zero immigration idea, btw. The mafias will just up their game. Europe isn't Australia, but even they get illegal immigrants.

Then jump on Twatter and do it. If you must, keep the ibuprofen handy, would be my advice. Or better yet, the bourbon...
