Is Kotor 3 going to be released on the new XBox or the old one?

Exile's names LS Female-Keira Finree DS Female-Iola Rindall Male-Aiden Organa

I think Kreia is your initial master, because in the scene where the Exile stabs his lightsaber into the stone, Atris blames "the woman who trained all of them and is responsible for their falls."

What the Jedi masters hoped to accomplish
tennisibguy replied to hawk's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
This almost sounds like a debate on existentialism with all the references to taking responsibility for one's actions. Come to think of it, only the Exile really comes to term with personal responsibility. Kreia blames her student's failings on the council, the masters blame you for the failings of their students. In reality, the people who fell have no one to blame but themselves. The Exile is the only one who realizes this and accepts personal responsibility for his/her decisions. -
Yeah I just want the ending too. I would be willing to live with bugs and crashes if they only gave the ending the game, the programmers, and the players deserved to have in the first place.

The problem with the story
tennisibguy replied to tennisibguy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hahaha, I'm a redhead and my dad is blond and my mom brunette. -
When you add in the deleted lines and put them near the end, it really creates a sense of a climax, everything happening to lead to one point. Unfortunately, I felt that the climax without the deleted parts leads to the climax being when you meet the masters at Dantooine, giving you several hours of falling action and no resolution. What was Kreia's reference to Mira's "true father" at the end? Her true father was never even brought up until that, creating a question and not an answer. Somehow I think her true father was Canderous, but I'm not sure why. The problem with most of the romance quests was that the dialogue one could have was very good, but it didn't go deep enough. The romance wasn't quite as cliche as with Revan and Bastila, but nothing ever came out of the relationships. The ending with Visas was odd because you go from hardly knowing anything about her to her loving you all of a sudden.

For my brother's birthday, I bought him the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi soundtrack, and all I can say is that the original music is incredible. Do you guys think if they make another KOTOR that they should include more of the original Star Wars music?

LucasArts is a business, interested in cash. If it can get away with making a large profit from an incomplete game because of a loyal fan base, then it won't ever change. The only solution is for people to stop buying LucasArts games until they realize why their sales are falling.

The Most Lousy Jedi Ever

Stop with the Yoda clones; I hate them. -
Has anyone figured out the fastest way to get all the parts for HK? In one playthrough, I didn't even get all the parts for some reason :/

Most Memorable KOTOR 2 Moment

I think it might be one of those 3rd time through bonus dialogues. I met him, told him to not stare at my chest, and thats what he said. -

Atton: Hi, I'm Atton Rand. I wasn't actually supposed to make it into this game. I was made for a spinoff of Jedi Knight. I guess you can blame my manager. -
Likes Mira - She was a very interesting character with a colorful personality, about as sassy as Atton, plus you can't say no to redheads. If you managed to get her, and then fall to the darkside, the dialogue was interesting. I'm not sure if it was special 3rd time playthrough bonus dialogue, but as DS, there is a dialogue option that says [influence] and she responds in words, but not in voice. Kreia mentions her true father, but who in the world is that, considering her "true father" was not even mentioned once. No romance option Visas Marr - I really liked the voice, and she was a very good concept. She had love at first "sight" with the PC. I wish they made her character have more story and dialogue. Atton - Interesting backstory, good dialogue. "I found clothes" "Damnit!" Kreia - I hated her, but she was a good teacher and made you think about your actions. t3 - useful character, and more personality this time around Dislikes Mandalore - boring... HK-47 - sure he has funny lines, but he is a shallow character go-to - boring... disciple - wimpy, overprotective, shallow handmaiden - whiny, shallow, needs longer hair

I was a guardian and I just power-attack punched them to death.

If you play the game as a Sith instead of a Jedi..
tennisibguy replied to global_74's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I finished LS, and just killed Nihilus in the DS game. It seems to me that when you go DS, Kreia is truly a good master, she doesn't seem to discourage you unless you go out of your way. If you are playing as LS, she is a good master in a completely different way. She is a foil for you, showing you the exact opposite of what you know to be right. She challenges you to defend your beliefs, and doesn't blindly accept anything you do. A good teacher makes you think for yourself, and Kreia does that, even though I hate her a lot. -
***UNOFFICAL KOTOR 3 WISHLIST***
tennisibguy replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I really think starting off a character at the beginning of a game at level 20 is a really bad idea. Who cares what kind of powers one had in the last game? It would be a detriment to the overall story, and the story is far more important than level. What would be interesting is a different character that actually grew up completely in the Jedi way, and didn't really have problems until they had to face the real world. Unlike Revan where you learn something completely new, or the Exile where you have been cast outside the order. To get an insider's view while not being like Jedi Academy would be unusual. -
Bonus strength damage Half with Offhand
tennisibguy replied to Jeremiah's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
not quite true with the tennis racquet man, as the professional players' one handed forehands are definitely the main weapon versus their two-handed backhands. the one hand gives freedom of motion, meaning you can generate more speed, and thus more force. -
Bonus strength damage Half with Offhand
tennisibguy replied to Jeremiah's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe it is the game developer's attempt to balance out single weapon combat. If you take away some of the bonuses of using two weapons, more people will probably choose one. In the movies, most people use one blade, so they could want it to be true to "real life" Star Wars. -
maybe when they talk about vodi siosk-baas, they just got him confused with another jedi starting with the letter V, like Vrook or Vandar
-
ok good, so im not a lunatic

has anyone thought from the chronicle that you are this jedi who defied Atris, making her your former master?
