Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist
Lord Satasn replied to RoadReaction's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
yup, you should know better than to try to attack the old school forum members like us....I'd have more posts but I only post in the Star wars parts of the site, and in November I was pretty much booked for the whole month playing gigs I didnt have time to get on the computer at all -

You are the Jedi formally known as the Dark Lord Revan...formally known as prince... and I am Lord Satasn....Dark Lord of the True sith Empire.... I've been waiting for your return Revan... You have come to usurp me, I have foreseen it...this war is inevitable, I knew you would come this far...Now prepare for the fight of your life! -
Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist
Lord Satasn replied to RoadReaction's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yup and even though we disagree in other threads, we seem to have a similar opinion in this thread so it shows he's smart...so I've got his back on this one.... so shut up u newb, people post in this forum on their free time...that has nothing to do with the thread topic, but nice attempt at derailing it...as though the ninja thing didn't do enough damage  Back to the main point...this isn't my opinion, Labrynth of Evil talks about Dooku being one of the best, along with Mace and Yoda....there is your damned answer! I've posted it before but I guess people prefer their opinions over the written truth...of EU at least... and it's too elite for you haha not just some numbers I'm pretty sure that's jk multiplayer slang, eh? -

Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist
Lord Satasn replied to RoadReaction's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah haha Dooku was trained by Yoda himself. Dude this thread is pointless, in the book Labrynth of Evil it talks about this. It talks about the uncertainty if yoda would have beat dooku or not, dooku was more powerful than he used to be, and might not have lost if he kept fighting, but fighting wasnt his priority...it was to get the deathstar plans to sidious...if dooku really wanted to fight, he would have.... In the book it talks about how Dooku was the greatest of lightsaber duelists among the jedi, along with Mace and Yoda...they were the only two that could best dooku...but dooku would usually get the upper hand... Obi is a very good defensive fighter, but he would lose to mace and yoda and dooku and sidious and he is unable to beat greivous in the saber and his saber gets destroyed....he has to end up fighting greivous and from what I hear from the book is the only way greivous has weakness is when he's surprised.... SPOILERS!..... obi wan force grabs greivous's blaster and shoots him in a moment of spontanious luck, like usual.... In the book it talks about how Dooku taught and trained with greivous all of the lightsaber forms....he warned him of maces style and in the book mace and greivous fight....Mace gets the upper hand out of a surprised footstance switch or something, because maces style is unpredictable and flirts with the darkside..... the only question I have is how anakin beats dooku in episode 3...I think it's just because he's the chosen one and that's all....and he gives into the darkside in the fight...oh and btw obi wans ass gets knocked out again in the rematch with dooku! So in my opinion the order goes like this...from what we know.... from best to worst... 1. Dooku, Mace and Yoda are all tied pretty much, they all have different pros and cons to their styles and in my opinion and pretty much the book, they all could beat one another on different days...its all down to whos the most revved up on that day haha... 2. Anakin...he beats dooku somehow, because he's more powerful, but as far as with a lightsaber, dooku is technically better than anakin...so its a close call 3. Greivous-He can pretty much beat any jedi except the top 3 that tie my first place....I think he'd probably beat anakin.... 4. Darth Maul-He was skilled, and had an unpredictable style, but he was ****y, and not a smart fighter...talent not brains...and got outsmarted by obi 5. Obi wan-he's probably the worst technically of saber skills, but he is an excellent fighter and is very smart, and wise...he wins by faith in the light, and abit of unpredictable luck...everyone talks about him owning anakin...not gonna happen, he'll actually probably be tied/losing the fight alittle bit the whole time until he gets a lucky break due to anakin getting a bit ****y, just like maul...and we all know what happens... ALSO lets not forget EVERYONE has a weakness and EVERYONE loses sometimes -
I know....lol It's funny how people are like...hey that robot with 4 arms who uses made up weapons in a made up universe looks fake, thats not what hes supposed to look like.... or...that fruit that anakin levitates is so fake looking....when I levitate fruit with a made up power called the force it looks much better.... and etc. and etc. just enjoy the show

Dooku is the Best with the Saber, and the only jedi to best him, when they were still jedi, were Mace and Yoda, it says that on StarWars.com... Dooku beat down obi wan and anakin....easily Maul was killed by obi wan when he was just an apprentice!!!!!!! Maul was weak.... Greivous would seem the best, but he doesnt know Mace Windus side.... personally I think Windu is probably the best duelist, also I think he is able to best sidious...who Im not sure is better than dooku or not yet....but I think Mace bests sidious because Maces Saber style is known to flirt with the darkside...kind of how luke beats vader but then anakin backstabs him haha -

I might check out CLoak...it sounds alright...but I mean we already know how it unfolded pretty much now....just from that review, and the events of TPM and AOTC and etc. I read Labrynth of Evil by James Luceno and I thought it was really good. It was the first book I've read about Star wars and etc. my first EU besides the games. I can't wait for Episode 3 and is it me or am I the only one who has gotten over and let go of the acting of Episode 1 and 2 and the cgi factor and doesnt care anymore, and thinks episode 3 will probably have the same problems....yet is still looking forward to the movie because star wars has never been classy...it has just always been action packed and exciting and thats what I'm looking forward to in Episode 3....

Yeah I agree....they should change the KOTOR series just alittle bit, after K3, if they decide to continue the series with a new story and characters.... They should give u the freedom to either join the villains or the good guys, and build the story around that.....or betray one of ur sides middle game or something....that'd be cool.... cuz I'd like to be trained in the way s of the Jedi/Sith like they did in Kotor, but work for either side...u know.... Like an extended version of the Acadamey on Korriban, with a darker twist, and then working for them....and becoming an apprentice to a Sith Lord...maybe even get choked by him if u mess up, and then in the end game overthrowing him and becoming the Sith Lord and kill the jedi... and the opposite...start out as a padawan who becomes a Knight early in the game, like extremely early....then u go with ur master or friend who is a jedi master, and u defeat the sith and become a Jedi master at the end game. That would be very cool.

Best chapter of the Jedi Knight Series
Lord Satasn replied to Nur Ab Sal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I Think Jk Dark forces 2 was the best one, and Mysteries of the Sith is apart of that for me, at least....I dont really consider them different since they came out around the same time, same graphics engine, and similar characters and etc. I remember I was like 12 or 13 when that came out and I was playing online at the Internet Gaming Zone....good times....I think when anyone plays games at that age they get some type of nostalgia or way back when/glory days type of feel to it...I remember I just really missed those days when I was 17 playing J outcast and JKA online...didnt feel the same at all...... I always thought the addon levels and mods ppl made were MUCH better for jk and mots than for JO and JKA in my opinion...especially for the times....anyone remember Canyon Oaisis and the multiple levels it had....with invisible walls unerwater and all that crazy stuff and it went up like a billion feet high...classic man...!!!!!! and The Hoth level was one of my favorites too......when u could jump on the invisible platform on the wall then get to that special section...it was classic, and get in the bacta tanks..... I also think they should have kept Force Destruction! Muahaha!!!! EDIT: Also I forgot to mention, even tho its so long already, srry, haha, but After JK2 and MOTS I got out of starwars for awhile, went thru that whole Im too cool for star wars phase haha for a long time actually until a year or two ago when KOTOR came out...I was like whats an rpg? I'll give this game a try haha...and I was blown away and KOTOR single handly got me back into Star Wars...and now I'm on the forums and wrote stories about Lord Satasn and damnit.....back into starwars alright! -

I don't see what not liking legos has to do with not having an imagination...I have quite the imagination actually. And yes I'm sure, I am not gay, or a homophobe

What's not to like about a KotOR "Prequel"?
Lord Satasn replied to Ulicus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Agree. That is another "shorcut" method of storytelling that I would like to see vanish in the future games. However, a Force Ghost teacher would accomplish much the same thing and would be much more palatable, IMO. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> YES!!! I've been wishing for that for awhile...force ghosts just added so much mystery and coolness to the Original Trilogy -
Most exciting aspect of Episode III
Lord Satasn replied to Nur Ab Sal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't think that the rest of the audiance would appreciate that.. Mmm, I thought it was around 4-5 years for eps.4-6. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> haha true I was going to say the same thing, what ****ing job do you have that u get to use a remote in the movie theatre? haha I always figured that it was 3 years in between each movie, like the time between they were made u know? It' made sense for the old trilogy... and a bit for the new trilogy...except phantom menace of course but Revenge of the Sith is only like 2 or 3 years after Attack of the Clones right? -
Well, sweet lego avatar... I'm not going to touch that game, it's the definition of lame
-
I'm gay, wait nvm, I wish I was gay, but I can't get any action from guys or girls... I think that's more realistic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See what you get when you tamper with posts?
