    Just download it with the browser. It's only 8 megabytes, so it shouldn't be a problem.

    It's probably because you own the special kickstarter hero/royal/champion edition, not the regular one.

    GOG without a doubt. I don't see a point in coating the game with DRM just for the sake of (some) convenience.
