I've run into several issues that I think are all symptoms of the same bug with regards to party management: 1. Party members can become unusable in the party selection screen; you can select them and add them to the party, but clicking accept only leaves you with an empty slot in the party after this point. This has happened to Aloth and Konstanten in the attached save B - my last save from before this happened is attached as save A. Sadly there's a few hours between them, as I only make proper saves when I pass a milestone of some sort. I don't know exactly when it happened between these two points, as I only noticed it when I wanted to switch back to Aloth after a mission way later - but it happened sometime between these two saves, at least. 2. Party members can become duplicated and distorted in the party selection screen. We can see this in the attached screenshot - two Konstantens, two Serafens and a Maia whose portrait is misaligned. This can be reproduced by opening save A (i.e. before case 1 happened) and adding/removing everyone over and over a few times - remove everyone so you have an empty party, then add four people, rinse and repeat until this happens (happens within 1-5 tries for me). See attached save C for an "after" case, but the save is corrupted and cannot be loaded. 3. Your companion selection can become distorted in the same scenario as case no. 2 - this is also displayed in the attached screenshot. Current party = 6/5 people, with Konstanten, Ydwin and Tekehu being the ones visible. In the bottom left we see only Konstanten (and only one of him), even though my last accepted configuration was a full party. If I remove everyone I end up with Konstanten gone and Ydwin remaining. If I open the selection screen again, remove her and add Eder, Xoti, Serafen and Pallegina, I end up with only Eder and Pallegina - and so on. Pretty unpredictable. Basically these "corruptions" seem to build on top of one another, and mess up further and further the more you play with them. Sometimes it starts with case 1, sometimes with start 2 and sometimes with 3, but once it starts happening it snowballs if you keep switching people around. I've gone back as far as my first save with a full party and managed to reproduce case 2 (and then 3) after a few minutes of switching in and out, so if it's a save game corruption it seems to have been with me all along. I am attaching 3 saves (A, B, C, where A is before and B, C is after), and one screenshot illustrating cases 2+3 (hard to capture case 1 in a screenshot). I am also attaching the output_log file from right now when I reproduced the bugs for this report, as well as a dxdiag export. I played on v. 1.2.0.0017, but updated first to 1.2.0.0028 and then to 1.2.2.0033 (GOG) when this issue appeared, hoping this would help. It did not. As mentioned, I don't think it is. I had the problem of cut-off dialogue, which was fixed completely when I disabled my network connection. That said, I mostly noticed the issue at the beginning of the game (Most notably with Calisca), and from act 2 onwards, I've been able to play with my network connection enabled almost without difficulties as well.

I don't think it's necessarily a separate issue. I had the exact same problem as Niranloh, and then tried disabling my network connection as per the tips in the linked thread - and the problem disappeared. It reappears when I re-enable my network connection.
