    Yes after reading a few you'll slowly start to feel your own thoughts and opinions not really mattering much anymore, then you'll be emersed in the EU. Next step using the word "cannon" almost uncontrollable. Soon you'll be able to enjoy writting so poor that you wouldn't even touch it if it didn't say Star Wars, but on the other end of the rainbow now Michael A. Stackpole can afford a house that he would never had been able to obtain on his own merits, so think of it as charity if any lingering doubts remain.

     

    You'll have dreams of giant lizards with tongues that come out of there noses and rancor riding force witches, and every character you love from the movies will eventually get cloned. You've reached a zenith

    how strong is a jedi?

    I see a lot of differences in the strength of jedi in early EU versus prequel jedi. there is absolutely no reason that that many jedi should've fallen to those damn droids on gensosis, none. you wouldn't have seen that crap happen to the sith if they were still around.

     

    same goes for the jedi in the 'republic' series. i think on jabim, they were tryin to keep the separitist force from enclosing the launch pad and im talkin bout those jedi kids got wiped the hell out by COMMONERS and droids. in my opinion these early jedi are gettin soft.

     

    part of the reason to blame are these punk-ass jedi masters. ur a keeper of damn peace, guardin and justice and all that crap and ur not prepared for war? that's why the jedi are always getting their asses handed to 'em, everytime something big pops up they ain't ready for it because they're always in their temples meditating to the force instead of ingnitin' the lightsaber and practicin. it's their philosophy that holds them back.

     

    lightsaber only for defense...haha, they won't last a minute in war, as we've seen already. and another thing, they'll never take anybody past a certain age. that's holding them back, now they're discriminating (lol), that's why when it's time to get dirty their numbers are always low because they don't have any damn body. you got all these people turnin to the dark side who were being trained since child hood, apparently its not gonna make a difference if it's more of a risk if they turn to the dark side as adults, dark side is dark side dammit. you guys always get the short end of the stick because when someone does go to the darkside you don't have enough people to replace him, and he ends up wipin out half the jedi order which is all too recurrent in star wars (kun, ulic, anakin, etc...)

    But somehow they always win in the end? remember this is all written stories by other people, the jedi are exactly as strong as the writer wants them to .. and it's common practice to make the bad guy alot stronger than anyone else, so the hero needs to develop his skilled to face him! everyone stagnates (from a strenght perspective) in times of peace because you can't always train for a war you don't know will come .. its better to meditate on the matters at hand! so I think the Jedi-order is fine, because when the need arises some hero will take up the challenge and ultimately save the galaxy .. that's the way it is! because thats how the stories are ..

    Ah I can't remember .. B something! :) there was a large candy-factory in the area and close to Rotterdam.. + marihuana wasn't legal back then, which was too bad! hehe

    I gotta go try that sometime, legally that is!  :p

    I can't remember could be Brielle! :ermm: but it was a rather big town (at least to danish standards) which probably mean it was very small! :) considering our second biggest city has only 250.000 citizens!

    my dutch is a little rusty .. :) something like ..

    ahh so close .. lived in Holland for a couple of months it's actually not so different from danish imo! it only took me a couple of weeks to comfortably understand it.. but thats awhile ago, I don't remember much of it anymore.. :p

    I study English first year .. and I'm 20.. so I try to convince myself that playing video games makes me more articulate!  :D

     

    With all the reading in KOTOR and RPGs in general, I'd say playing them has to make you more fluent in the language! :p

     

    I'm a senior Journalism major at Ohio University.

     

    well I practically learned English that way, cartoons, films and VGs .. so yes it does help! :)

    You know to me as a European all this Iraq mess is clear: France and Germany

    are against Busch. And this means that they are your opponents!

     

    France and Germany's governments are only puppets, they still use the oil that U.S. and British corp. sell them, they still use the terrorist threat to there advantage in the pool of public opinion. Goerge Bush does what the top 50 tell him to do just as they do in every other western power

     

     

    btw Star Wars is good isn't it :blink:

    In Europe we remain quite sceptical to the terrorist threat and the supposed war on it! do you think we are idiots? they stayed out of the war because there weren't any real proof of Saddam producing weapons and so the war was illegal.. and there still isn't proof!

    except for few pathetic goverments (mine included), who just wanted to kiss american ass, noone supported this!

     

    and yes SW is great! :sorcerer:

    this is a question for people who know alot about .. or have suffice knowledge of the d20 system ..

    Was i considered a high level? let us assume that we take a normal jedi what would he be? lvl 10-15 or something like that? because in my mind lvl 30 sounds a little high (I only know the Ad&d rules) even a little epic ..

    found an urban dictionary and it had this to say about "The Ringer"

    Other skills may cause additional conversation options as do statistics, so you may see things like: [intelligence], [Wisdom], [Repair], [Demolitions], etc, etc.

     

     

    That is going to make it very difficult to milk it all out without cheating.

     

    not necessarily.. it just means you have to play through the game a few times to try it all! but if you want to try it all in one game then yes.. you would have to cheat!
