:crazy: In the game I saw L.T. didn't fumble, turn the ball over, commit stupid penalties, waste timeouts, play defense and not stop the Patriots when it mattered, or miss a field goal. You can blame this loss on many things but to say it's L.T. fault is ridicules. Congratulations to the Patriots and their fans. You simply made the plays when you had to and capitalized on the many, many Chargers mistakes. Well the Chargers really let down the Rosebud, Texas native and greatest player in the NFL. Its probaly time for a change of scenery for L.T. and it just so happens that the Texans could use a runningback. Hopefully he can find away to force himself out. The classlessness of the Pats players really showed at the end of the game, the way they circled L.T. on his way off the field, it would be nice if the NFL handed down some suspensions, but it probaly won't happen. Anouther interesting note, it seems like after last year's embarrassing officiating they have apparently told the refs to sit on their hands, I'm not sure that the games are being any better officated because of it.

Yeah its called play calling. You see on a team their are these guys called coaches. Theres a head coach, whats called an offensive coordinator, and also a defensive coordinator, and a special teams coach. Their are also numerous coaches whos responsibility are individual position, ie. Linebackers coach, runningbacks coach, etc. Most of the time the individual coordinators call the plays for the team, and then a player from the team relates it to the other players on the field, often times these guys are called captains. Coaches call plays according to a "gameplan" that they worked on the week before while lookig at tape at what the other teams tendecies are. So if a team passes more then it runs, more then likely its because the coaches in looking at the tape decided this would be the best way to attack the other team. Well the Eagles loss, their lack of size up front really showed along with their rash of injuries. Trotter doesn't have the legs anymore to play in space, Gaither, though a rookie with great upside, is playing out of position, and Jones just lacks the physical ability to matchup with offensive lineman on the strongside. In the end there's lots of reason to be optimistic for the Eagles, the return of McNabb, the emergence of Westbrook, and the offensive line returning completely intact. Revamping the linebacker corp. and the drafting of a prototype strong safety should be at the top of the Eagles' list along with getting a big back to spell Westbrook. Its hard not to rate this season as a success for the eagles given all the adversity, but it still feels empty as a fan. Oh well, we should be one of the frontrunners for the superbowl next year, with a much better and healthier team
