  1. I've started doing it since the work from home thing happened during the pandemic. I knew that since going to work was out as far as physical activity I needed something to stop me from turning in to a plant. I'm just missing a bar to do pull ups, but as soon as I move to my own place I will get a standalone bar. But as far as increasing reps, I just stopped at one point where it was good enough for me. Never really desired a large physique, or anything like that.

Truth told, if I'm making like 20 cents from a sale in Turky (in the past, now not anymore since regional pricing was canned there)... it doesn't really matter that they bought it. They might as well just have pirated it. In my statistics this is barely noticeable. It's probably worse, because a pirate who likes the stuff you make still could buy your game for realz. Meanwhile a person who used a VPN to buy your game for cents sure as hell will not buy it again for the real price.

So yeah... if you plan to exploit VPN technology to buy games cheap, you might as well just pirate them directly.

Then what is the point of selling the game in Turkey? Not even talking about the game dev, but for Steam?

Unless there were significant changes in some of the patches, it is almost impossible to reach either the max character level or zealot on anything but dogmatic, and even for dogmatic you really need to take every possible option. The convictions really need some tuning.

I was missing something ridiculous like 10-12 points to reach zealot on Iconoclast, I assumed there was a side quest with the dark elf that gave me those points. Guess not... To make matters even worse they tease you with a sniper in the last mission that boosts dmg if you are zealot Iconoclast.

The Calibrated Heavy Stubber is especially ridiculous when you combine it with the main character's dogmatic IV ability that just makes the target ignore any damage reduction, and you did not even get the full fun out of the Compensator Gloves by having Argenta as Bounty Hunter. Compensator Gloves scale the rate of fire bonus off the character's Ballistic Skill, which goes up with each shot on an Arch-Militant. Worse because of the bugged interaction with Firearm Mastery, which makes every single shot give you one rank of Versatility. Not sure if that was fixed yet.

Still mostly used the Heavy Bolter on her because it did not matter and bolters are appropriate for Argenta, and they look and sound better than the stubbers. :p

Next time probably. Although doing 1k dmg per shot is fun too. Bounty Hunter stacks a lot of crit damage especially with an item that marks the highest difficulty enemy as prey and doubles the bonus you get from it, plus you can use another bounty hunter to mark more targets as prey. On the other hand, since They Shall Weep scales the rend dmg off BS I guess the Arch-Militant would not be far off with that bug.

I mostly used the regular bolter on her, I found it cleared mobs quicker.

  4. Why not give Argenta an exploding bolter that does 1k a hit and can do a full mag burst. Also the stub gun on her is so funny, @majestic was right it does so much in a burst that dmg doesn't matter, but it still did 300 a hit... I cannot believe I couldn't get the zealot rank, that is what I get for killing the dark elf... I was missing a couple of points... Overall I liked the game, but it's painfully obvious that they were rushed and had to cut a lot of the content short. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the game could have used some balancing... I think most of my companions could clear fights in 1 round, it's just that Argenta did so easily.

Was anyone able to reach max level by the end of the game?

Does the field of view value affect how motion sick you get in first person games? I remember the first time I opened up Metro 2033 like a decade back I thought I was going to throw up because the FoV was so low and there wasn't any way to change it through the in-game settings (...but you could through some manual .ini editing, which fixed the issue for me). I can't tell for sure with this YouTube video, but it looks a little on the low side there.

FoV, motion blur, mouse sensitivity and the art style (amount of details) all affect it.

Work is kicking my butt. Our scheduling coordinator person is out and the bosses are just throwing projects around without vetting them or doing any of the stuff that the other person does so it's making everything harder and take longer. They don't realize I've been putting up record numbers because of the other person doing the dirty work and it's not doable if I have to herd all these cats myself.

Similar situation for me... My PM went on vacation and left me to take over, trial by fire I guess. It's just that this is one of those weeks/sprints where need 10 different things and we need them done now. If nothing else it showed me how much actual work and stress the PM has... This leaves me in the position to think over if the pay raise (my assumption here there will be one) and a change of scenery is worth it. Then again this company is on the extreme end of the scale as far as work intensity is concerned. There is also the fact that I am new at this and that with more experience things will get easier. I'll see, but at the end of the day this opportunity is not likely to come along again.

I'm still waiting for them to send me one of those "you can't watch any more videos until you disable your adblock" notices that people apparently started getting a few months back. They're sure taking their sweet time. Anyways, no, no stuttering. Also, public service announcement: if you're using any adblock that isn't uBlock Origin, you're doing it wrong.

I used Origin and had gotten that message. Although I had a bunch of custom rules and filters.

That fight is much more fun when you do it in Chapter 2, although I am uncertain if I was supposed to be able to reach it in chapter two. I think it took spending Navigator's Insight to create a warp route to the system. Should have been a hint, I suppose... :p

I searched all the planets in chapter 2 and didn't get that encounter, only when I went through all the planets again in chapter 4 did I find it.

Heh, it sounds like a fun tradition. A couple more questions; will you carry the coin around in your day to day activities (like in your wallet), so as to receive the good luck? Do you return the same coin at the end of the year to be used again in the next cake?

Usually the person who finds the coin keeps it, but usually people also use common currency coin (value of 1 cent or 5 cents depending on which coin they put in). In my family we use a gold coin and we keep those for use every year. We just return it as soon as we find it, we don't carry it around as it's valuable, not terribly so in monetary value (although the coins are more than a hundred years old so who knows(around 500 bucks in value)) but simply because they have been in the family for a while. Just found a quarter dollar from 80s among them, go figure.

Thats pretty cool! Does your family perform the tradition as described in Wiki?: Česnica - Wikipedia

Yep. As I found out recently they used to put corn and honey along side with the coin. So there was more than one "winner". Maybe they even still do it in some regions/families, but we just put in a gold coin. The funniest thing is the careful chewing until someone finds it, then it's full steam ahead demolishing it.

I vaguely remember doing the gold coin baked into bread thing when I was a wee lad in Poland. It's not a tradition in Poland so we must have been with someone who was Serbian; this was many decades ago, I have no recollection of who. I didn't get the coin, I remember that much.

I don't remember the last time I got it either and we do this every year.
