  1. It's not just Linux. Problem exists in Windows 7 Ultimate, too. I just got a dual monitor and can never scroll left (cursor will go to my second monitor). Looking forward to when the game will actually play in fullscreen.
  2. Really annoyed. I dislike that the "Collector's" edition was sent out and not the others. Started playing the Witcher 3 at this point. Didn't love the combat of Pillars anyway, and definitely not a BGII spiritual successor. Getting really, really pissed. It's been months. Why bother to vote in polls about physical copies, even if you're in the $100 tier, if you don't get your physical goods? I wanted to be able to read a real instruction manual and play, but no. I would never go with your distributor again, if that is the problem. The updates I am receiving just add insult to injury. Hurry the hell up. I have been badmouthing the Bard's Tale and regaling this tale to every gamer I know due to my increasingly escalating agitation. Don't send out updates about other stuff when you can't even fulfill your backers' loot.
  3. Personally, I think the poll should have stated that if you weren't receiving a Collector Editions, then the boxed goods wouldn't go out like the CE's did and will be sent together after the game is released with the disc and a time frame will be given at a later stage. It was nearly two months after the poll (12th Feb) that it was clarified by Obsidian (10th Apr) that the discs wouldn't be sent until 1.04 (17th Apr) went live. And even then QA had to be done on the installers and discs. -- I agree. I had no idea only collector's edition boxes were going to ship out. I can't believe it's been two months since the game came out. I just wanted the damn old school manual, and all I got was a lousy tee shirt.
  4. I got my T-shirt. Here is the response I got regarding the physical goods. Evidently, the Collector's Edition has shipped, but the Standard Box is too flimsy and crappy to have shipped without a DVD, so despite the majority voting on getting their physical goods on March 26th, Standard backers (mine was the 100 dollar level) are currently in limbo. Hail madglee, You will definitely still be receiving the boxed edition. The Standard boxes have not shipped yet. You may have heard that we are shipping the discs separately from the boxes. In the case of the Standard box, if we were to do that, it is likely your box would arrive damaged with nothing inside to give it a bit of weight. The Standard box will be shipping out with the discs inside to prevent damage to the box. I can't currently give you an estimate on when to expect it, but as soon as we have more information we will be sure to release an update. Sorry for any confusion, Rose Obsidian Entertainment
  5. This is a completely unhelpful reply, but I acknowledge your question. I wish I knew the answer. Back to Google.
  6. I was going to say I hadn't realized you'd done multiple orders when I said what I said earlier, but...at any rate, I'm glad you figured it out, whatever it was. All I meant is that I purchased the Collector's Edition, and had expected to be able to pull out my instruction manual, map, etc, while playing the GOG/Steam version of the game. I didn't get the physical stuff, and haven't heard anything, so thought I better ask here. Are you saying I should just wait until the 30th and then contact somebody?
  7. I don't think you can if you didn't back it or choose that tier.
  8. I see in another thread that a lot of people have already gotten emails. Originally, we all voted to receive our physical goods on the 26th. I haven't received anything, including any email. I checked my Spam folder. On my backer account, it just says "Shipping Soon," but it has said that for weeks or months. Who do I need to contact besides posting here?
  9. My "expert mode" is grayed out for some reason. I can't choose it even if I wanted to. EDIT: Doh. One has to enable it beginning a game. Can't do it from Options, even before starting.
  10. I'm in Los Angeles. I didn't get any notification or box. I thought we had voted that our physical rewards (sans actual game DVD) would get here the same day, so we could (per the backer poll) : We ship everything out except the game disc, which we then ship to you after finalizing the 1.0 version. Wait a minute. That sounds crazy. You’re going to ship me a game with NO DISC inside at first?! Here’s why we think that’s good: Anyone who pledged to a physical reward tier will get a digital copy. You’ll be able to get a Steam or GOG.com key on our site and play the game at the same time as everyone else. You’d be able to take out your Collector’s Guidebook, your cloth map, your mousepad and enjoy all of it at the same you’re playing Pillars of Eternity. I figured that would be a difficult thing to time at first, but was then imagining just telling UPS a million addresses and saying, "All need be delivered by EOD March 26, 2015."
  11. I'm in Cali, and that happened to me, too. I had finished the game weeks before the physical stuff came.
  12. Definitely option 1. Too many games recently where I finish the GOG version before my physical copies come. I'll play, but still be able to use the manual and map and what not. Very good idea!
  13. Is this a bug or just pre-asset placement? Regardless, it makes it really difficult to determine which item is which, as every icon is like a bag of grain.
  14. I thought I'd set somewhere that I wanted to be Derelict Berserker of the Obsidian Order. Can I please have that?
  15. I was just starting to feel young, at 40, until I realized that my math was wrong in calculating that, hey I was 20 when I played BG2, so if another was 14, they must be 6 years older than me.
