  1. The problem consists only in the story/ premise. I'm not asking for an easy introduction, but for a believable plot. If your character gets killed by rats, he shouldn't be some king's first choice for a dangerous mission, or a bodyguard. I think Fable 1 did a great job at creating a believeable starting plot, (except for the whole guild business), you start as a kid and go trough some trials as you become a promising hero candidate, and your choices influence some friends/rivals... I'd like to see something like this again, maybe with a little touch from Dragon Age starting stories... it could be part of the character generation, and as you age you could add new perks/skills/talents/feats on the go. This will avoid the "omg I finally hit that rat/goblin" cause for a kid these monsters are a real threat... imagine a peaceful village attacked by goblins, and your kidself has to fight for her/his life, barely escaping death and no home to return... maybe than the PC would have to provide for smaller sisters/brothers and so the PC has to start adventuring...
  2. Why would you get those as followers in the first place? Probably to have them -slowly and painfully - killed. Personally, I think that very few people are interested in renaming characters in the game world... Am I the only one who spends more time thinking up a good character name than actually creating the character? Imagine that with all of the characters in the world, my worst nightmare H3H3H3 Maybe if you find a guy who hit his head too hard, and got amnesia, or an evil witch deleted his memories... I wouldn't mind giving him a name/nickname... btw would be cool to help a companion and reshape his/her personality after losing his/her memories IF we knew him/her beforehand.
  3. Hey guys! All adventurers need trusty bags/pockets! Would be nice accessory to an armor for a ranger(like) charater. Also would add some point toward realism: I always found it a bit awkward when you get a key, walk to a door, and it just magically opens... would it not be more fun if your character reached into his/her pocket for the key and inserted it? BTW these are hungarian "tarsoly"-s (tarshoys).
