  2. Any parent that uses their power/influence/money to better their kids position should be sent directly to prison.
  3. Journal entry day 12: A strange fiery orb has appeared in the sky and the local denizens are confused and excited. The temperature is predicted to reach ~50F and Ive heard whispers of a impromptu Super Bowl garage party breaking out around the corner. Strange times indeed.
  4. Maybe our accuracy went up in the last 9 years. I find the caliber change, 5.56mm --> 6.88mm, to be interesting. Better penetration? Range?
  5. @ShadySands: I cant wait to see how much SMASH costs per unit.
  6. US Army considering rifle that only fires when hit is guaranteed.
  7. Iirc, the finale to Newhart was the dreaded "it was all just a dream". :puke:
  8. Space-time is swirling around a dead star, proving Einstein right again.
  9. From my perspective, the chart is accurate about IL. A good friend of mine is Polish (been here since 10yo) and when hes not talking Polish to his family, he talks like Ivan Drago in English. Wisconsin surprises me though.
  10. @Guard Dog: We have anti-vaxxers and flat Earthers, of course there are large amounts of people that believe everything they read.
  11. Its day 9 of "no sun" in Chicago, which apparently broke a record of ~25 years.
  12. How would we pay for the Freedom Dividend?
  13. Hmm, MedicineDan reacted to that post, but joined Obsidian far too late to know who Oby was. Alt confirmed!
  14. Fine with me as long as I get the bag.

  19. A similar thing happened to Farrah Fawcett. She died earlier on the same day Michael Jackson died, forever to be overshadowed.
  20. Bethesda restores characters who lost their clothes in Fallout 76 hack.
  21. Whats in the jar?
  22. AFRL XQ-58A Valkyrie expands flight envelope in fourth test.
  23. Thanks, that sounds delicious! I remember my mother used to cook a sauce all day long in a crock pot but unfortunately that recipe is lost to the sands of time. But that was the approach I was thinking. Low and slow and let it go all day. You mentioned several things I would have never considered like the wine and worcestershire so I may try to work those in. 👍
  24. Nah, Ive never been able to see one of your images either. I thought it was just me.
  25. Iirc, student loans are simple interest loans. Google tells me the formula for a simple interest loan is: I (interest) = P (principal) x r (rate) x t (time periods). It also tells me the "average" student loan interest rate is: "For the 2017-2018 school year, the fixed rate on undergraduate Direct loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) is 4.45%. The rate for graduate or professional Direct unsubsidized loans is 6.00%. Direct PLUS loans have an interest rate of 7.00%. However, that doesn't mean all your debt has the same interest rate." As you all know, Im not so good at math. Can one of you pump those numbers through the formula and let me know if its accurate?
