RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - FREE WHITE HOUSE MONTAGE
Chilloutman replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
I wonder which one gets you caught faster than the other: a. doing meth b. running over a hooker with a car(let's leave the police helicopters out of this since they're so hard to find or shoot at) No Idea, never done either IRL -
RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - FREE WHITE HOUSE MONTAGE
Chilloutman replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
hah, always gets me when somone is 'shocked' about one aspect of game where you litterally drive over a hookers while shooting on police helicopter -
that sounds good, I would expect some expansions than

Chris Avellone: The Final Frontier

IDK, I feel like with things GlassDoor and Indeed that might be changing. Granted, reviews in those places are anonymous but companies will definitely loot at their culture and management if it starts to impact their image. Sure. The important word here is anonymous. If there is a systemic problem at a company and the GlassDoor ratings consistently say that the same thing is wrong, a company will try to fix it. Also note that companies perform exit interviews. If they consistently hear from departing employees that X is an issue, they will fix X because having a high turnover rate is expensive. Every company cares about turnover rate. I can say that the company I'm currently working for doesn't, they only care when it affects their bottom line. They're more than willing to put people through a perpetual crunch rather than to hire the number of persons necessary in order to properly manage the workload. It has affected different departments and led to many firings and quitting from people that were burn out. It was only when they actually saw the magnitude of the mess they made that they began to amend things a little, and now it seems like they might be going back to what it was before. TL;DR: exit interviews mean squat when the problem is the boss. Same company as mine? xD -
5 posts and already in WoT, and even better in politics, you will enjoy this xD

Heretic, AC20 on Cent or bust, they are best med brawlers, at least put on it 3 SRM6 and med lasers
-
btw do someone know how or if movement is affected at all? Is piloting skill improbing movement of mechs? Or is there any other way? Since we can't swap engines...
-
how you guys feel about weapon balance? To me it seems very off. Best weapon is M Laser - 1 ton for 25 damage? Hell yeah! L laser, 40 damage for 5 tons, wtf?
-
I have managed to complete that mission with 100% success, rushed 2 mechs west , smashing that one light mech in first round, then go behinde that laser tower and convoy will stop right in you fire line. Other two mechs hidden behinde cover forced AI to rush with 3 mechs to one create, from that point it was clean up mission, but oh boi did I struggled with that one for quite some time
-
Pretty sure there is memory leak causing loading times grow exponentialy
-
Finally got over mission with escaping transports and ammunition stashes, that was tough one to get 100%

To each his own, let me know later how you feel about your choice

and that is the problem. It would work 'fine' in 4 vs 4 and if you spec your whole drop to be lets say 3 lrm boats and spotter but lets be real - that setup sux and you still can have 4 LRMs which are superior, not to mention that that 'spotter' mech gets wrecked. If that lock stay on target lets say for 3 rounds I can see it usefull but in current implementation you just write of 25% of your firepower. I would always take a 35% shot rather than use sensor lock
-
thats the problem, you can't fire away because it ends your turn!
-
nice setting, good writing, great music, nice atmosphere, but game mechanics quite sux, which is shame because they got huge potential.
-
Does not make much sanse, you would take heavy mech with armor and firepower any day over 1 weak abilty. At least while I am limited to 4 mechs for drop. Its 25% of your firepower gone...
-
If anyone is interested there are some tips: 1. Spec your mech either in long range or in short range, not so much point of having both on same mech 2. Piloting and Guts are good for short range mechs - brawlers/tanks 3. gunnery is good for long range mechs with direct fire 4. tactics is for LRM boats 5. choose mechs with a lot of armor for brawlers (my Centurion is a beast with AC20 and few medium lasers) 6. you can strip some armor from long range mechs 7. basic mech setups are usually garbage 8. at start short range is a king, but I already got few missions where range would be VERY usefull - currently refitting few my mechs Can someone please confirm if sensor lock should/is ending mechs turn? because if so than its utterly useless skill :/
