In KOTOR I Revan was evil (that is the real Revan not the fake identity you play). In KOTOR II with the revised history. More stupid and overconfident than evil.

The key is to have such a compelling story that it dosnt occur to the player just how dull the tasks that drive it are.

They picked the module. I'd have gone with the D or G series myself. Much more interesting.

I'd agree it wasnt that it was a bad game. It was that everything was average, ok or just bad. Nothing about it really stood out.

Wasnt hack and slash, it was a combat simulator. Had the AI not been totally braindead and not rendered 90% of the options little more than stuff to mess around with it might have actually been good.

What was wrong with it ? Even with all those things it wasnt as awful has having to wait for the game to catch up with something that had been established by in game evidence on the second planet.

Maybe they want to do something else besides KOTOR... After the first couple of months speculation becomes a fools errand. May as well play and do other stuff till LA sort themselves out.

I've played this before, but last time I guess I just wasnt in the mood for that type of game since I quit somewhere in the ruins. Started playing it again yesterday and got totally hooked. It reminds me a lot of Zelda , similar sort of puzzles (the jumping bits are annoying, especially the timed ones but not enough to make me throw down the pad yet). Since it's the hoildays (and people wont stop bloody calling or visiting) its good to have something that you can just drop at moments notice. If I enjoy it this much to the end I'll definately be getting the second one. Calling it an FPS seems wrong since it's so much more than that.

They were "eaten" to feed the alien Gaia. It's similiar to the FFVII plot in a couple of ways. You know how they were processing souls to use as fuel ?

As long as it has statistics and some character growth. In a four player game you really dont want people buried in character sheets for half an hour. Probably rent it for the same reason. Not many four player games that are not sports games. Although Wi Fi is flavour of the month at the moment.

In a nutshell the plot is that every planet has it's own Gaia spirit. The aliens destroyed their homeworld and a fragment of the Gaia spirit from their world infected the earth one, which gave rise to the phantoms (The spirits of the dead aliens). The wave was to bring harmony between the alien Gaia and the indigenous Gaia. Which it ultimately did. I'd love to see an FFX movie, so if I ever get 100 million thats what Im going to spend it on :D

Spirits within would have made a great game.

What happened to the one KOTOR III thread only thing ? Moderators on holiday ?

Normally it will increase the accuracy , how often they will throw grenades, damage taken and recived by the player character. And occasionally add some new enemies or change what they are equipped with. Changing the difficulty in Fire Emblem will change the game completely, what were vaible tactics wont be anymore.

Shame I detest platform games. Was watching someone play it earlier on. Looks good but would definately bug me.
