I dont see what the deal is about Nintendo "dropping out" is either. Aside from your obviously bias comments, graphics are not the be all and end all of games. Since the pretty much invented the gamepad as it exists today they may well be onto the next big gaming boom. The PC is a piece of **** as a games machine. Really no other way to put it. The quality of games is disguisting which was part of what pushed people towards consoles in the first place. Stuff that works out of the box , wow thats novelty.

Yes but it's an opinion that should be grounded in some sort of evidence. IE Arcamun is crap because it's full of serious bugs - yes thats based on evidence. Arcanum is crap because its poorly balanced - again you wouldnt find much argument there. Well that would be you overlooking the flaws rather than because the game dosnt have them. A reviewer that didnt bring those flaws to attention in the review would certainly not be doing their job.

If your going to go for an "objective" review then the best thing to do is list the reasons you marked the game down and let the individual reader determine how important those factors are to him.

You cant be your own father . Unless you indulge in some pretty weird timetravel. You can only anthropomorphise so much. A nation isnt an entity. A system is just that a tool it's how the user uses said tool that defines it as good or evil. If I use a hammer to fix someones roof the hammer is not good. If I use the hammer to bash in someones skill the hammer does not become evil. Someone else may use the hammer for an entirely different purpose, but it's still the same hammer. It hasnt changed only the person using it has.

The voices would bug me after a while anyway. I'd be hopping everyone would just shut up. The problem with the demo as an RPG is it starts you in the middle of something with no context. That dosnt work in an RPG like it does in a Tactics game. Honestly after fighting the "teleporting" policemen I'd had enough.

SWG should be a great grouping game but with interface and how it works its not. So once solo play was removed, I left. Its sad really, SWG still has the most potential of ANY MMORPG (including WoW) on the market but Sony has failed to realize that potential from day one. Its just a really bad product run by folks that are even worse! Really dont expect that to change to be honest, SOE has no clue what their doing, the few players they do listen to are only out for themselves and NEVER suggest stuff good for over all game, and its based on a updated version of the old UO engine which had limitations at the best of times. Actually thats far more dangerous. If you hold them responsible then you feel justified in taking revenge on them for something that they had no part in. Thus there is a never an end to the cycle of violence even though the real guilty parties are long dead.

Well the Japanese did rather horrible things to my Grandfathers brother in WWII. But the only people I hold responsible are those who were responsible for those acts. I certainly dont hold 21st C Japan responsible. Or random Japanse people. Actually I brought that up for a reason. When I started to date Yuki seriously my parents were appaled.
