Watching the Obsidian all-day launch-play live stream before I play, woo!
-
Obs just confirmed launch time 1200 PST. Aarik goofed. Official release time, 0800 PST.

Measure C is being rejected by two-thirds. No new stadium.

Lena Luthor coming on strong in Super G, ostensibly as a helpful and powerfully brilliant good guy, which can only mean she's secretly diabolical despite (or because of) her adoption into chrome-dome's evil family. Alex Danvers' inner identity turmoil is really touching, Chyler Leigh's performance so distinctly endearing. Also, Lucifer is surprisingly reliable and fun and unpredictable.

All platforms ... "give or take 30 minutes based on if the release gods accepts our offerings. Pre-load starts tomorrow at 19.00 CET for those who've pre-ordered."
-
They say we can play after around 1700 CET Thursday. Is that six hours in front of EST ... so 0800 Obsidian Standard Time.

Kill**** Soul****ter yet lives! So close. So close. Skull**** Soul****ter. Also, I'm sorry, Tyrrany is Rated M for Mature, which is equal to PEGI 12 I think.

What would be cool, some day, is an AI personal assistant programmed with historical and statistical sports data, like some sort of algorithmic multi-informational graphical overlay, in holographic 3D, and you could be like, hey, AMIGO, when was the last time the AFC West, or any one division in the league, reached mid-season with all four teams at 7-2, 6-2, 6-3, and 4-5?

Oh, okay. Either way I'm playing the hell out of this game. Has Paradox said if Tyranny will release at midnight, or ...

Is this sarcasm or surprise? Surprise. Turn-based is the opposite of exciting gameplay, for me. -

Numenera is turn-based, are you kidding me. -
Just watched the 'second-hour' video--not sure what to make of the 'maximize the minimap' mechanic. When it comes up, all treasure locations are marked. Probably not a lot different than hitting a highlight button, but seems kinda cheaty. Not a big deal.

Mikey and Aarik, Obsidian's tireless community managers, made the announcement during the last couple live streams of #ObsidianPlays on their Twitch channel. They play games to help raise funds for Extra Life, a charity for sick children. Also happening next weekend, Josh Sawyer playing Fallout New Vegas with his own mod.

Into Darkness. Inexplicably moving up the list three spots to fifth-best behind Wrath of Khan, Voyage Home, Nemesis, and Beyond. Followed by, since you asked, Generations, Star Trek 2009, Undiscovered Country, Search for Spock, First Contact, Insurrection, The Motion Picture, and Final Frontier.

Pug may be referring to a Paradox survey sent by email, about Steam pre-order habits. Don't know. -
Obsidian has promised to announce some very important announcements during their 48hr live stream next weekend, 11-13 November. I expect Pillars II and Star Trek: Futile Resistance

Little role reversal there in the alleyway, instead of Clark catching the bullet for Lois, Diana deflects for Steve. Love it. -

I feel pretty confident or maybe partially deluded that Brian let slip in a stream last month there is at least one more secret NPC companion.

Pretty sure Jerry knows Prescott/Elliott is the second-coming of Jesus Aikman and Emmitt Christ. Romo won't see another snap until Burfict or Talib either breaks Dak's legs or gouges his eyes out. Emmitt with two T's, my bad, sorry #22

Through headphones, seems like the entire game's master volume is low ... don't know.

Heh, got a card today in the shape of a perforated ghost, inside it says 'Holey sheet--it's Halloween!' Happy Halloween, Obs
