Funny alpha-female artists are funny.

"Adventurers are extraordinary people, driven by a thirst for excitement into a life that others would never dare lead."
Seriously, p.45, new edition D&D Player's Handbook. I think my 'thirst for excitement' ended after her husband found out.
Incidentally as a painful aside, my lower back just locked up harder than concrete for the first time in its life ... how exactly do you deal with this immobilizing, asinine state of affai--ah, jesus

Huh, I've been reading everyone all wrong, this whole time. Or not wrong, just with an American English accent. Someone should write an audio book called, Reading In Accents: How They Really Sound.
Soon as I read Bruce in a plank accent, he made perfect sense. Same with Austrian ham and cheese. And the Brits, they're the most fun to read 'in-accent' ... " 'fink I sawr Juwie Androos hangin' out wit' som nuns an' teh local ess-ess commandah."

I'm that old. I still have plenty more 'dead tree' DLC than conventional.

Crowdfunding and pledges are still available through the weekend, don't give up yet ...

Yes, definitely, please, a rare weapon suitable for 11th- or 12th-level play. Since Josh mentioned we'll be able to improve magical weapons, maybe the rarity of a superweapon is because it cannot be upgraded.

My ticket was punched fast and clean by professionals (sounds more like a hit by an assassin), thanks very much you guys.

The 'Buy Add-On' button still works, too, so I was compelled to pledge-order another T-shirt. Cool!

Very amusingly detailed plight. Made me want to play an 'interrupter'.

Despite my local B&N's penchant for poor inventory administration, I finally got a copy of Fifth Edition Player's Handbook.
Actual disclaimer, page two:
Wizards of the Coast is not responsible for the consequences of splitting up the party, sticking appendages in the mouth of a leering green devil face, accepting a dinner invitation from bugbears, storming the feast hall of a hill giant steading, angering a dragon of any variety, or saying yes when the DM asks, "Are you really sure?"
The character-creation chapter I'm in now, has numerous quotes, art, and author credits from various D&D novels, describing races and classes. Wizards is happily and forthrightly pushing the depth of the D&D multiverse. It's been a really good read, so far.

Thanks very much! Sorry to have to take advantage of this.

This has nothing to do with anything, but now that Falcon is set to become Captain America, he will have wings and a shield. Shields are indeed dangerous and offensive weapons, no reason not to give my lil' PoE paladin two of them.

Badly broken software ... harsh. Too harsh.

Yeah that guy's voice is unforgettable. Like a disembodied observer with deep concern and authority for my party's welfare.

Did I miss the Mountain discussion. Just started it, and I may be fascinated, relaxed, and intrigued at the same time. It is strangely comforting, as if your PC became artistically self-aware.
Edit: A giant coffee cup with coffee just meteorited into my mountain.

The guys at RPS have had a positive reaction playing the beta. He created a character rolling physical dice.

Maybe they already have them. Maybe they surprise us with a metric ton of glorious pencil drawings.

On Wednesday, August 20, come back to this page and watch as Design Director Michael de Plater kicks things off at 10am Pacific. We'll explore Mordor, behead Orc leaders, and learn more about main character Talion in an hour-long, free-roaming demo of the open world action game.
SoM livestream in ten minutes.
Edit: Not that page, this page.

mmm, hopefully that's the Obsidian t-shirt we get for PoE.

I forget where I saw it, and since then I cannot unsee it, but there was a photo of Manziel and Justin Beiber hanging out, partying, doing the things they do. You're right, both of them have punch-inducing faces.

Finally, some awesome cars. Not many around here appreciate a good motor and a nice body.
Speaking of fun things that sound incredible, there is an audio app for your phone with nothing but engine sounds you control. It's a simple tachometer that takes up the whole screen, with a throttle, start button, gear-change button, and I think a brake. You start the engine, the tach revs, hit the gas and accelerate, shift, nail the throttle, shift again, hit the redline ... shift down a few gears, punch it, hit top gear ... whatever you want ... it is so fun you won't believe it. The app is free, you get a "Euro" V12, V4 sportbike, and a V8 muscle. You can purchase additional three-engine packs for .99, like the "Historic GP" pack, with a flat 12 Grand Prix engine, a GP V8, and a turbo GP V6. The other packs are "Racecar" (which has a tiny pic of a Pagani(?)), "Supercar," "Street Tuner," "Street Bike" (inline 3 British (has to be Triumph), and V-twin Euro, and U.S. styles), "Off-Road," "V-8 Thunder," and lastly "Modern GP." I haven't paid for any new packs yet, it's such a blast with the free ones, but that flat 12 is gonna be bonkers. The app is called RevHeadz, made by a trio of dudes who have been recording engine sounds for video games for twenty years.

Wait, so is there a published list of minimum system requirements ...

It's a role-playing game, not an assembly line.

They fixed the lolly-gagging server clock. It's only one minute behind, now.
Wait, no it's not one minute, it's right on the numbers.
