  1. I can't help but think of the Green/White Power Rangers talking sword. That aside, sure, I think that having distinctive weaponry can add something fun to a game. In a world where magic is relatively common, I don't see why not.

  6. Do you remember making time capsules and burying them? You might stick a letter to your future self in them, maybe a few noteworthy items that might be representative of that time in history. If I was burying one today, I might include my old (and non-working) iPhone or an interesting newspaper article. I was recently the best man at a wedding and the couple nailed shut a box containing letters they each wrote to one another, along with a bottle of Champaign.   7. You should just break down and read the books :D While I agree the series is well done and interesting, it is still missing some things that the book series has. I actually started reading the books before I watched the show. They were recommended to me by a friend. I'm almost done with book four now. It's a lot slower of a read than book 3, which was a complete whirlwind of activity in the last few hundred pages.
