Intelligent Weapons
Winter Wolf replied to TRX850's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
I can't help but think of the Green/White Power Rangers talking sword. That aside, sure, I think that having distinctive weaponry can add something fun to a game. In a world where magic is relatively common, I don't see why not.- 44 replies

private backer forum's?
Winter Wolf replied to AcedBlade's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
The idea of a private backers forum made me smile, shake my head, and post this comment. Well done gents. Well done. -

Do you remember making time capsules and burying them? You might stick a letter to your future self in them, maybe a few noteworthy items that might be representative of that time in history. If I was burying one today, I might include my old (and non-working) iPhone or an interesting newspaper article. I was recently the best man at a wedding and the couple nailed shut a box containing letters they each wrote to one another, along with a bottle of Champaign. They are supposed to open the box in 25 years, to remember why they married one another. Nice, right? This is sort of a long wa

You should just break down and read the books :D While I agree the series is well done and interesting, it is still missing some things that the book series has. I actually started reading the books before I watched the show. They were recommended to me by a friend. I'm almost done with book four now. It's a lot slower of a read than book 3, which was a complete whirlwind of activity in the last few hundred pages. Just wait til you get to book 5 I have been reading the Song of Ice and Fire since Game of Thrones was released back in the mid 90's and had a friend who worked at a b
