  1. You know who else didn't think that joke was funny? Hitler. EDIT: and yes, i'm familiar with Barry Humpheries, though I hadn't actually realised he was australian. Live and learn.
  2. If you want some strategy, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
  3. Sure is, good memory. The second series iirc.
  4. hahahahaha, I remember that crap. Yeah. Pretty much the only thing that carried me through the game was the relatively interesting (for the time, cirtainly) battle system which FFX later borrowed elements from. Likewise, the thing that ultimately got me bored of WA was the completely mundane battle system.
  5. Hey, that was pretty good, I didn't bother with any of the NWN modules, but this looks like it might be worth a look.
  6. Parents can end up teaching exactly the same things through abuse or neglect, just go to any foster home and tell the kids that they're part of a 'rare minority'. On the above basis, should all kids be taught at home? If sex education, somthing that actually has application in the real world, shouldn't be taught, then where do we draw the line, should kids even be taught history? After all, this could be seen as 'unsafe or inappropriate'.
  7. Yeah, I remember that being an issue too. BoF4 is the superior game to the original WA though, as much as I love WA3.
  8. Then that's a fundimental problem with the free-market economics on which the entire nation is built on. An embargo on china would be pretty funny though, you'd be looking at a complete collapse of your entire economy. Your industry simply isn't tooled to cope.
  9. Given that a significant part of your consumer goods manufacture is done there to cut costs that's pretty funny. In 1965 manufacturing accounted for 53% of the american economy, now it's a mere 9%, employing just 10% of the workforce. Even high tech manufacturing is being outsouced, much of it to china. 70% of the new boeing aircraft, including the engines, is being made overseas. Last year, China produced 600,000 engineering graduates, all english speaking, while america produced only 70,000. My point is that you can rant and rave all you want, but a large number of the products you use on a daily basis will have been made in china or closeby, probably without you even realising it.
  10. BoF4 was fun, but dragged on a bit. Fairly average by todays standards (save graphically) but still good fun. <3 Fou-Lus animations.
  11. I'm still playing on a 17" CRT, shut your craphole.
  12. The further joke is that many of your special forces and SWAT units use german equipment.
  13. Yeah, just checked it, if you perfer 'stick down, go down' controls then you can set them to 'reverse' and you're sorted. <3<3 the replays, I need an HD TV just for this game.
  14. The nice thing about AC6 is that the MP game is actually better in small teams. 3 players can make for some epic seige battles.
  15. Well, the Jumbo is a specalist aircraft and the old 747 is pretty damned old, but yeah, it looks like airlines are far more interested in medium-range smaller aircraft like the Dreamliner than in replacing their long-range fleets.
  16. That's because Llyranor is my girlfriend, check her profile picture.
  17. It's a great series if you like the gameplay, and AC6 easily has the most refined gameplay of the series. People who are new (espessally those who are used to FPSs) seem to have trouble getting into it, but as far as its style of game goes its unquestionably top of the heap. The gameplay runs a sort of middle ground between arcade and realism which will probably annoy some people, but makes perfect sense on the console and it's pretty much my favorate PvP game. Even 2v2 games are awsome while you dodge missles trying to get a clean shot off at the zippy zoomy hostiles. The actual campain is weak, for the series, but still highly satisfying, with multiple objectives in each mission that require multiple playthroughs for the perfectionist. More so considering the new 'ACE OF ACES' DLC that completely changes the mission layouts. Really all I can do, ultimately, is recomend the demo and say 'if you enjoy that, you'll cirtainly enjoy the full game', but if you only care about the single player then i'd recomend getting it cheap. EDIT: Yeah, space sims are kind of dead. There is one for the 360 by Square, 'Project Sylpheed' but it's not very good.
  18. Well, yeah, you don't see my buying Idolmaster planes for Ace Combat 6 either.
  19. Hey, that's what you said when I responded to one of your posts with a LOL.
  20. I mocked Oblivions horse armour, but DLC and micro-transations really are the way forward in this context.
  21. The elected govenment. But you've both got very valid points.
  22. Extra planet with some new quests? How does it compare to existing content?
  23. Personally I don't use CNN because their site is ugly and annoying to navigate (as well as shoving adverts in your face) and, as this article proves, the news reported is esentially exactly the same.
  24. I was being sarcastic, nice work there champ.
