I can only judge you by what you say, and going around in threads saying "this is beyond me" seems rather silly to me, if there is some real point you have you should post it. Otherwise I will take you at face value.

It will also lead to worse games, like NWN, or better games, like FO, or any game for that matter. If it is good enough for every game developer in the past 10 years, then it is OK.

Its not that easy. Updated version may modify how skins are handled, like it did on update 1.11 for invision boards in the past. Then just release another patch. That is the way game developers do it.

Can I get a refund on NWN? I never finished it. The fact is that the most pir8d games are the most financially successful, I didn't see lionheart last time I went to a chinese software emporium.

There is no project X, it is just a way for obsidian to farm for ideas for project X. Someone will come up with a good idea, Obsidian will implement it, and the person will think they just guessed the right game idea when in reality they will be the unpayed idea man for a bunch of burned out devs!

This is a mean statement, the same information could have been said nicely, or in a neutral way. I'm not defending volo, I don't like volo enough to defend him, I am defending the board rules, or more precicely, I am pointing out that the board rules seem to be lightly enforced. Which is fine, as long as they are not selectively enforced. I am also pointing out that by asking for popular votes on mods, the board admin puts himself in a difficult position by appointing people without a vote (unequal treatment), and by claiming a vote on an existing mod is a personal attack. If a vote on an existing mod is a personal attack, so is a vote on a non mod. Unless of course mods are royalty and the regular posters peons to the mod staff?
