  1. Daylight Savings Time was pushed by the Chamber of Commerce because they think it will make people more likely to shop. https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/takeaway/segments/who-really-benefits-daylight-savings
  2. Why? Don't you like having your rhythm disturbed to facilitate shopping?
  3. I think it was the weakest episode so far. While I generally like Komi and Tadano....the Komi fans are usually just gags that aren't very interesting. I'm not sure what they're trying to do with Najimi, but generally they get on my nerves much less than dog girl, physical exam rival, or the hair licking stalker. Should have just watched Samurai Champloo or Hol Horse.
  4. Given the rampant stat inflation in WotR I'm apprehensive about Owlcat doing a Pathfinder 2e game. Imagine the disaster of giving every enemy +4 to ac, attack, dc, and saves in 2e lmao.
  5. I'd go with the former just in case there is an afterlife that can watch TV.
  6. Komi Can't Communicate 4: Komi Gets a Stalker. And here I thought the weird tongue stuff would stay in JoJo. I'm sure the coming patches will fix it so you need all the +AC dips just not to get hit on a 1.
  7. I didn't know that. I do remember my regular party almost wiping when they got stuck in a doorway in the beta, so hopefully less of that will happen. Well that's not encouraging lmao.
  8. I disagree with this somewhat, while the cleric does get (relatively) better martial capability, their spell lists are similar to the white mage in the larger focus on healing and support when compared to the other spellcaster. It's not a 1 to 1 comparison for many reasons, but I'd argue that clerics are more defined by spellcasting than their middling martial prowess so alignment with the white mage is logical. Now given how much more complex D&D (like) games are than FF, there are obviously much more roles a cleric can take on than a white mage. You can somewhat reliably blast as a cleric, you can debuff things in ways the white mage just can't, and you can buff yourself out the wazoo and be a better martial than the fighter for 10 minutes or so, and you can be evil and unlessh undead or plagues. So the white mage can't really compare to and undead lord cleric who overruns everyone with hordes of skeletons or the warpriest types. So I suppose to be accurate, the white mage is pretty much a healing cleric with worse armor. Basically Tristan in Kingmaker, though I don't think Bartimaeus has played that. No Paladin for Cha to AC or Vivisectionist for Mutagen or Sword Saint for more AC???????? I guess someone is playing on easy, where I assume enemies merely have a DC 65 swift action at will irresistible stun because Owlcat decided to balance the game around the most broken combos in Kingmaker and not the actual companions they made. No, but I did see episode 9 of Stardust Crusaders: Rubber Soul's Yellow Temperance. DO YOU UNDERSTANNNNNNNNNNNNDU? Oh no! You've missed out on a few good, many mediocre, and a few bad games.
  9. Eh, it depends on the game. Unless they're buffing for it I find clerics are usually better suited for the white mage support and debuff role. Some games are worse than others, I imagine WotR with 70+ AC mooks and other ridiculous stat inflation probably goes from lol no to merged angel crusader being unstoppable.
  10. White Mages have been around since Final Fantasy my dude. Basically it's a cleric.
  11. I think size stuff in general does not play well in Owlcat's Pathfinder. Even in Kingmaker, using Enlarge Person or grown up animal companions was a pain (in TB) because they'd regularly end up blocking paths or being blocked out. From what I can tell it is a bit worse in WotR due to narrow doorways and such. So yeah, unless you build a campaign with mounts in mind I think it's going to run into serious issues with level design built for human sized characters. Though I can see people using mounted combat if a companion's pounce applies to the rider, getting two full attacks each round sounds like it could be a boss killer. I've also seen comments that it makes the rider a much better tank, which I assume is correct because Pathfinder 1e wonkiness.
  12. As strange as it seems to me, it seems like he actually likes his job. The replacement will probably be an **** who rants about how segregation was actually good on his private social media. Edit: I totally misread your post lmao. I'm tired and should stick to JoJo memes or Fat Fuu jokes.
  13. It looks better at least, with the major exception of the Magus outfit. With custom mythic rules (which in some ways are less intrusive than PnP mythic), custom archetypes, and mounted combat it was bound to be a cluster**** of bugs. I'll probably end up liking it much more than Kingmaker when I get around to it and everything is more stable.
  14. https://news.yahoo.com/texas-principal-forced-resign-over-005339525.html I feel sorry for this guy. The CRT panic is one of the dumbest things to come out of 2021 and I hope all the kiddos grow up to hate their dumbass parents.
  15. I think it will be like Kingmaker, ok to pretty good content but a mod to circumvent the management mini game is a requirement.
  16. I thought about giving it a shot, but it looks like Zippy Magic is badly broken and there's still a host of other bugs so I think I'm gonna wait a few more months. Maybe the "abilities work as their descriptions say they do" or "monsters with over 9000 ac were brought in line" dlcs will drop by then.
  17. I think it's to illustrate how bad things there are. Like if you looked at a factory where workplace accidents were daily and pointed out one day in two years without an accident, that just reinforces how unsafe conditions are there rather showing off.
  18. I guess the rona really does age you. In two months I'm going to be 80.
  19. Technically the first here in Texas was the middle of March 2020, but since then it seems like it's been at least double digit deaths daily.
  20. 11 was one of my favorites. Probably the reason I want more real Jin. Minor spoiler, nothing major so feel free to click
  21. Her fingers have no nails and her mouth looks ready to rip out my soul. She is the scary story.
  22. Samurai Champloo 15 Ninjas, robbery, conspiracy, and a fat Fuu. At a bit more than halfway through the season the pattern of Mugen getting more attention than Jin continues. It's not that I mind Mugen episodes, the show is consistently great and could work with just Mugen and Fuu, but Jin is a great character that I'd love to see more of. There are 11 episodes left so maybe Jin will get more of those.
  23. So last things first, I liked Beastars a lot. So much so I could overlook the CGI animation. You're in for a treat. If you can handle horny teenage anthropomorphic animals. Now for the Stardust Crusaders spoilers. Oh, and this reminds me @Sarex
