  1. I'm not expecting it to mutate to a less harmful form any time soon because the population groups doing most of the spreading are not being significantly impacted health-wise. There's little evolutionary pressure to get the virus to become less lethal.

    It reminded some people hereabouts of the 2013 Superbowl in which the team with a dominant defense and a moderately capable offense crushed a high-powered offensive team with an average defense.   15. The main issue there was concerns over the lack of rigorous testing prior to certification. That's a pretty reasonable scientific criticism.

    In the MLS, a new CBA was negotiated last year but was never ratified. Discussions continue, with the possibility of a player lockout. MLS Players' Association won't strike, but dispute commissioner's CBA claims Supposedly the league lost $725 million last year due to the pandemic, and is looking at similar losses this year.
