  1. This reminds me of a story I read recently: Fructose contributes to obesity by changing cells Not only is Fructose unhealthy, but it changes your gut in a way that makes you want to be even more unhealthy.
  2. As abortion ban goes into effect, Texas poised to double down with separate restrictions on abortion-inducing medications
  3. I suspect that's the point of the law; to make it much more difficult to get an abortion without absolutely prohibiting it. It effectively cripples Roe v. Wade without challenging the established ruling itself. I'm sure they have been thinking about this for a long, long time.

  11. Common pesticide may contribute to global obesity crisis
  12. Spending centuries learning that you can't fix stupid...
  13. Japan tests exploding rocket engine for the first time in space Bit of a misnomer there. They're talking about testing a pulse detonation engine.
  14. I could swear that they managed to make Khalid sound even more wimpy and whiny during the Prelude. Perhaps as an attempt at humor? They did include interactions and cut scenes with an NPC from BG2 pretty early on, so that is obviously an attempt to tie the two together.
  15. Says the guy who died slowly and painfully of a stone blockage in the urinary track and wished he did not.
  16. I recognize at least half of those names. What a remarkable group. Richard Feynman belongs in there, but of course he was only 9 at the time.
