  1. The only episode that had decent ratings was the pilot, and even that underperformed in its timeslot, then it took a sharp turn even before it was moved to a death slot, going from 2.4 million US viewers for the pilot to 1.4 for the next and never recovering. It consistently got its butt kicked by shows like Phineas and Ferb despite being much more costly to produce. People not watching it is partly to blame for networks moving further to stylized stuff, now coming full circle. Its timeslot contributing to its death can be debated, but it's pretty clear that not enough people watched it (similarly, DVD and merchandising sales were nonexistent compared to other shows of this target). As much as I'd love to attribute this to channels screwing over another good show, that person is wrong. Also lol, their source link is TV Tropes. stylized is not the problem, the art style and content is. you don't need a very detailed design to make a good animated series (there are tons of stylized anime that got huge popularity) but you need to have a design that fits the tone of the series. also, taking something that has a badass name and history like Thundercats and turning it into something so ugly that i'm at a loss for words to describe is an insult to those who made the original and the fans who liked it... and this is what most people have an issue with "why must you destroy the legacy of a famous old work of art by making a crappy remake of it and don't just call your creation something else?"
  2. the first time i remember having a sensation like that was when i watched Chrono Crusade. the ending was so sad that i felt depressed for a couple of days
  3. I don't know how i got that habit but lately i catch myself unconsciously chewing on my tongue
  4. i got some steak flavored chips. i gave one to the stray kitten i'm trying to tame and it went nuts. after eating it, it stood under the window and kept meowing for more. it's parents sniffed it a bit but didn't want to eat it.
  5. A guy in Italy was going around wearing a t-shirt with "Pusher" written on it. The police stopped him for an alcohol test and found 1kg of cocaine in his car.
  6. Your parents are disappointed and are saying "you will know what it feels like when your children do to you what you do to us" But you can't be disappointed if you have no children
  7. a guy got on the wrong exit of the highway and thought it was a good idea to just reverse the car back into the highway... and straight on my car that was behind him. good thing i'm always on guard about idiots when i drive so i noticed that something was wrong and expected him to do something stupid, so i had my hand on the horn and pressed it as soon as his reverse lights turned on. to be on the safe side i had already stopped quite a bit behind

  9. we don't have big wild animals around here, though i have seen some wolf pawprints in an unpopulated area. we have a few hawks but i never heard of them attacking any animals in town... and the targets are plentiful with all the free range chicken.
  10. the simplest trick is to measure your index finger in cm and just think "how many fingers is that?"
  11. If they are a pair, the male usually eats last or doesn't eat at all. They usually wait there to protect the female while she eats because they know they are supposed to feed/take care of their kittens. Female cats are usually more interested in food but the male cat doesn't show that much interest in food, especially if they are not hungry. Female cats always are in a hungry mood though. this one is not behaving like that for protecting the family, he's just scared to come near me. if i put down the cat food and stay there, mama cat comes to eat along with the kitten. mama cat accepts petting while eating, the kitten backs off and papa cat just watches from a safe distance. if i put down the food and walk away, he comes and eats along with his family and if i approach he just runs off again.
  12. a wild kitten has appeared in my garden a few days ago. i gave it some food, it ate and left. the next day it came back with it's mother and the next day it brought it's father too. the bravest of the 3 is the mother that let's me pet her (only while she eats) but i'm more focused on taming the kitten (it trusts me enough to pick food from my hand but still backs off if i try to touch it). the father on the other hand is a complete coward who stays hidden and only comes for the food when i'm far from it.
