  1. *highfive*! No one believed us. Most even said it was impossible. I wasn't brave enough to make that call, and I consider that a testament to just how powerful propaganda is. I had no idea who would win and honestly thought Clinton would. Even if my gut said the Trump support is larger than they think, it's very hard to make that call when you see limited evidence of it according to the mainstream media. Likewise I feel a lot of Trump supporters were "shamed" and thus afraid to announce their existence. People can still deny it to this day, but the fact of the matter is that the media was 100% propaganda this election season. Today it's clear that the only people the establishment has been fooling this whole time has been themselves. I do hope you two placed bets on this though. Indeed. On the bolded: If one actually is observant in life, objective, and truly learns from their experiences, wisdom and that bravery will come to you. Alas that most are not observant, objective, nor truly learn from their experiences. Well for me, I'm in Germany lololol. I cannot confirm how the average "street feel" is in the USA and if most people out and about hate Clinton or what. I just know my contacts I do have were very put off by Clinton and begrudgingly agreed Trump would be "better" for us in some ways. Toss in the anger and outrage from the election rigging and the media bias, and OF COURSE his supporters are more motivated. I said twice in this thread that the one thing people overlooked was VOTER MORALE. People repeatedly linked polls showing Clinton up, but failed to acknowledge the media bias, the shaming of Trump that encourages his voters to hide, and that the polls that polled Voter MORALE all showed Trump supporters kicking Clinton's ass. Clinton had 50% of Bernie supporters begrudgingly voting for her....seriously guys? This didn't throw up red flags? That's essentially 25% of the Democratic vote refusing to show up. That's huge. The X factor that no one had or reported on was just how big the Trump base was. No one knew if they were small or big, because Trump and Hillary combined got only 9% of Americans voting for them in the primaries. The media was biased so of course they only said his base was small. Even if you don't trust that, you don't know if his base is large or not. Put it all together and I mean wtf the media had projections calling that Hillary would get 325 electorates or had a 98.5% chance of winning. Absolute nonsense, and I think anyone that paid attention would've said 50-50. But him winning...? Definitely a bit of an X factor depending on if his supporter base is large or not. Turns out it was, and yeah, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and the Great Lake states are evidence this was NOT just traditional republicans, but outraged democrats.
  2. As I recall, someone said Obama had 71% of the Latino vote, Clinton got 65%. That is far more telling than it seems. A 6% drop in support when going up against a candidate that's "anti-latino" is....well, it speaks volumes about your candidate. According to NBC itself, Trump had a mild little convention planned, not really a lavish party. Clinton apparently had a lavish party planned with fireworks etc. The cringe from this is just GREAT. Lastly, I should mention google and msn both display Trump as the winner now. Wisconsin and Penn officially called.
  3. So long as the Democrats don't make the same mistake and attempt to push an establishment candidate on people again, he is definitely a one-term president. Gabbard? Turner? Sanders? That's a free win. Clinton or anyone remotely associated with her? DNC would be stupid as hell, missing the point entirely and throwing away a free ticket to the White House.
  4. As a German-American dual citizen, it is my humble opinion this needed to happen. The tl;dr of my opinion is that Trump is just another idiot like Bush that we can begrudgingly survive, but Clinton is so corrupt she's everything wrong with politics. If we only had four more years til Earth blows up from a meteor? I'd vote Clinton. But we have a future, and the problem with electing her is that it sets a precident for future elections. It says that yes, you should be corrupt, you should take lobbyist money and you should turn the mainstream media into propaganda. Dunno if you were watching, but more neutral outlets have called Pennsylvania for Trump....that is not a typical Red state. Meanwhile bias ones such as NBC...? I am not joking, they did breaking news of a new state called and they called....Maine. For Hillary. Wow, big news there, totally more valuable than Pennsylvania, which she CANNOT CONCEDE. Her outlets have refused to call Pennsylvania for her, Wisconsin too. The issue at it's core is that in 2008, we beat the establishment candidate. In 2016, the establishment candidate seems to have rigged it vs. the candidate people actually supported; we may have beat the establishment candidate, but not by enough to avoid such an occurence. 2024...? If she got president, I promise you 2024's election would be an absolute farce. The American people were forced to choose between the least qualified candidate in American history and a candidate that undermines the democratic system. Say what you will and everyone's entitled to their views on the matter, but I promise you Trump won because a large portion of voters do not want to see the democratic system treated like a joke or like it can be bought. As such, that's why we have this result. No, most Americans don't love Trump and we know he's retarded, but yes, he's apparently seen by the majority as a "neccesary evil" if we don't want the system to become more corrupt.
  5. PODESTA giving the speech?!!??! R WE SRS RITE NOW???
  6. Lmfao. Ty and thank u Longknife, I really needed that laugh It's an American tradition. I'm convinced that in 2008 the rest of the world is like "well at least they can't find anyone stupider than Bush" and McCain thought "don't tell 'Mericuh what it can and can't do" and chose Palin as his VP.
  7. Can't let those British snobs think they better than 'Mericuh!!
  8. We all decided we wanna butcher our hair, dye our skin orange and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. We're gonna GRAB RUSSIA IN THE **** and WIN BIGLY come January.
  9. I just wanna see her concession speech. That alone is gonna feed my Schadenfreude gland for a good 5 years, then I won't have to bully orphans for it. \o/
  10. Pennsylvania just called for Trump. GG, no one will miss you Hillary.
  11. Writing was on the wall tbh if you tuned out the mainstream media, though obviously that's hard since it's everywhere and it's what people source. Even if you know to be suspicious of what the media tells you, you can't know to what extent the media is wrong.
  12. I would not be surprised if there were phone calls going out trying to find an unreported county that isn't predominantly republican that they can stuff 50k votes in without looking suspicious.
  13. Imagine being a billionaire....that donated to Clinton.... LOL
  14. The remaining states are Maine, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Hampshire, Alaska and Pennsylvania. Wisconsin and Arizona are not even close. She needs a miracle. Michigan and Pennsylvania are close, but currently Trump's lead is growing, and notably Penn is 97% reporting. Penn is HUGE, she cannot lose it. New Hampshire is currently hers....by 100 votes. Yes, 100. At this point Clinton's chances are so slim, she NEEDS states like Alaska and NH. Really the only way Clinton has any prayer is if somehow Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Arizona all magically switched and became her states.
  15. That's my point. Getting annoyed that there appears to be this reluctance to call these states now. The bias is showing. Just my opinion of course, but... New Hamsphire, Michigan and Pennsylvania are razor thin, makes sense they're open. Wisconsin is not even close at this point and Arizona, while still counting, is absolutely a red state. I mean I get it, we need to be exact, I just get the sense some media outlets are holding out on hope and hope alone to a degree. At least Penn is 97% reporting so hopefully SOON we get some damned closure. I wish Penn would finish and call for Trump just so we can all go home.
  16. I wouldn't trust him on the companies part. He's STILL a businessman, and damn right a lobbyist with cash is gonna get to him. Not to mention his own business history suggests he's not above outsourcing jobs. MAYBE he will view the USA as his "company" and crack down on it, but MAYBE he will view himself as his company and just pocket every bribe. I expect the latter.
  17. Hey, I voted for Bernie, who projected much, much better than Hillary did against Trump at the time. I very, very reluctantly would've preferred that she won tonight, but that's not how the right of the nation felt, I guess. None of us can do much about that, and you lashing out at us isn't going to change that.Okay I apologize, I just am very frustrated ....its too late Barti, funny enough I never wanted you guys to go through thisIt's okay Bruce, TBH I bet most of America feels frustrated as well. It's the political machines fault and it's us the people's fault for ending up with the 2 "main" choices we did. It was bottom of the barrel choices. I mean is ANYONE here an avid Trump fan? The only difference here between users is some of us consider Trump a "neccesary evil" and some of us don't. I don't think anyone's viewing this like "omg here comes the best president ever." I don't. I rather Trump than Hillary if those were my only choices, but by no means do I think highly of him, I can only say that I agree with some of his "ideals" that's spewed amoung his crap, but ce la vi. I'd rather have weed legalized and less IRS, but those were problemly pipe dreams as well The only praise I can give Trump is that the idea of Senator term limits is fantastic and his foreign policy is surprisingly good. I prefer a guy that doesn't wanna fight Russia over a candidate that scapegoats Russia. Even on his foreign policy though, his advisors are hawkish, so even if he himself is surprisingly good, I question how much he'll stick to his own ideals with hawkish advisors whispering in his ears. Aside from that, not much good to say about him.
  18. Why isn't anyone calling Arizona and Wisconsin?

  20. Nah you're good bro, it's just me and Volourn he hates. I dont hate anyone on this forum? I am going to be also impacted severely....but there doesnt seem any point in not admitting what is now coming and how we all need to accept the part we played But LK you seem to be taking this seriously and thats a very important first step, you will notice other members like KP and volo thinks its one big joke, they think this is inconsequential I get that sentiment of theirs completely. Long term nah, of course Trump has his problems we all gotta prep for. But for the moment...? If I'm honest, I always got a vibe the presidency is a "trophy" for Clinton. I legitimately think she wanted the prestige of first woman president, and that this stupid blind ambition got in the way of better candidates, policies and political campaigns. She will not be the first woman president, but she will go down in history. She'll go down as the Most Embarassing Loss and the candidate that managed to lose to the least qualified presidential candidate ever. That? Yes, it's Schadenfreude, but god DAMN it feels good. Knock her off her high horse, let her know she's not welcome, and let's save "First Woman President" for someone qualified like Tulsi Gabbard.
  21. Democrats haven't developed a deep bench. Certainly not ready for 2020. Julian Castro, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker won't be ready until 2024. What about Gabbard? Yes please. That's exactly the kind of candidate we need and exactly the kind they should NOT push away.
  22. Silly Barti you are to blame for this. If you hadn't suppported Bernie Clinton would have won ? Fixed that for you.
  23. Trump taking the lead in Pennsylvania holy balls.
