  1. I'll look into that bug, aeonsim. Most of my encounters are usually over shortly after the third chant, so I'll have to deliberately delay killing stuff to try and reproduce it.
  2. I believe as a KS backer you can choose which digital distribution outlet you want per key. Currently it's Steam and GOG, but they may end up offering more (eg. Desura).
  3. yeah click on the weapon you want, it will change, and then select your target. There's a bug with AI at the moment, especially with ranged AI ... and yeah sometimes your character will just target someone else against your will, and there's nothing you can do to override it.
  4. I find that only setting one Chant in the Chant menu allows you to get 3 chants done quicker, so you can use an invocation.
  5. We don't know who did the touch up to the portrait, but we believe that it was re-done at the request of Steven Dengler, who would of course, have to be satisfied with his portrait. I also prefer the left one, and I think we have the files saved somewhere (I think Infinitron has the sources) so they can be used in the game.
  6. You could do Arquebuses, but I think Blunderbusses go better with Rogue Sneak Attack, and Penetrating Shot. They also are faster to fire/reload.
  7. You can queue actions with SHIFT + Left Click, but it's currently buggy and doens't work. Used to work in the earlier versions. Agree about naming saves. I agree about Swift Strikes being a little bit confusing. It's a strange ability that costs 1 wound, but what do you do if it's already active? Cast it again? I'm not even sure if it refreshes or not, will have to test it. Combat log is a mess because of the amount of stuff that gets pasted into it. I really hope they implement a filter in a patch/expansion to allow us to control what we see in there.
  8. Make sure you switch weapons during the shoot animation, after the hit frame. You have to pause the game after the shot as fast as possible.
  9. You can do that with control click. I used to use shift click in the IE games too, but that's now action queue.
  10. Select All was the = button in the IE games, mate. Personally I just found it faster to flick my mouse down to the select all button, because it was in the bottom right corner, very easy to hit with the mouse.
  11. off topic but the state of FPS makes me want to cry, as an ex-competitive player, Call of Duty 4 with Promod was the last good competitive FPS imo. I don't count CS:GO as I think it's a garbage game, but ymmv. wtb cs 1.6 / cod1 / ut2004 / quake 3 days again

  13. The talent Two Handed style is listed as +1.1 damage in the Talent Description (and possibly on the Character sheet as well). I *think* it's supposed to be x1.1 damage (which could also be displayed as +10% damage if you guys end up changing the damage displays), but I'm not really sure TBH

  15. Just thought of another stupid combo that pretty much makes investing in Constitution pointless too. If you go Max Might, you get +33% Healing. Then you just pick that Wound Binding Talent that heals health, and you've got basically a free 18 Constitution.

Every time I make a video I'm afraid Josh will nerf something I did The reason why Knockdown is so good is because a lot of the higher level Fighter abilities are just *crap*, like Into the Fray. It's not really that the ability is OP now, it's just that a lot of the higher level ones are just not good.

  18. Do we actually know if crits are still x1.25 ? Because Firearms have a -0.3 crit mult. Which means if they did crit, they'd be doing x0.9 damage lol
  19. Hmm - Deleterious Alacrity of Motion, Vulnerable Attack, Penetrating Blast ... I will try that soon. I just did a Knockdown Fighter build, which is lafs.
  20. where are you getting 4.45 from? The calculation is additive base * [1 + 0.33 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.2 + 0.1 + 0.3 + 0.3] = 2.73 the lash is then 25% of the total damage after DR reduction (I think) These are all currently subject to rounding/calculation errors as well. Deep Wounds adds a DoT, but it doesn't stack, I think it just refreshes.
  21. Yeah two of them were unique items. One of them you can get in the beta (the first one). The second was a unique. The third and fourth were just Fine and Exceptional Blunderbusses. Not necessarily. Blunderbuss base damage is 8-12 man (or less). They also reload fairly slow and don't cause interrupts. They also have an accuracy penalty (although, maybe slightly too much?) .. dunno. You can do like 100 damage with a magical Arquebus in a single shot.
