  1. Lasers are actually worse by default than optical mouse sensors, there's nothing special about them.
  2. Not a companion. Don't know if still in the game.
  3. The animal companion is part of the Ranger class, and weighing the animal companion against other animal companions is a fair thing to do, just as is weighing different attribute arrays, spell selections and the like. The bear seems to do very high damage compared to the others, I would not say that this difference is negligible.
  4. I really think that the inventory UI needs to be handled differently for 720p and higher resolutions.
  5. That's because the have the same Stamina and Health right? The Bear has higher DT and does ridiculous damage though, IMO they are the best atm.
  6. I've just been copy pasting my list across. The only reason I added those were to address concerns other backers were having about developers not listening: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/68191-are-they-even-listening-to-our-feedback/ http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/68191-are-they-even-listening-to-our-feedback/?p=1501782 Feel free to take it as braggadocio though, doesn't bother me.
  7. Yeah I've pointed this out before a couple of times, it's really annoying. It would be nice if you could just drag an item out of the inventory pane to do it, but since 720p is full screen and the others are not (unforgivable!) that wouldn't work. Probably needs to be a ground UI box in the inventory panel or something like in the IE games.
  8. I don't think you do, but a +1 every 5 levels or something would be nice.
  9. Titan Quest's inventory system was perfect for that style of game. Loot bags = great improvement over Diablo 2, upgradable stash = great improvement over Diablo 2, Caravan system = great improvement over Diablo 2. Auto-sort button - best feature.
  10. Yes I hope we don't have to suffer a rushed release date (no doubt the game will be content complete, but not sure about feature/polish). I think the next couple of patches will be pretty big though - there's a lot of stuff coming in this one. Brian has seen the thread, so maybe we'll get a response today.
  11. It would be a bit different if web triggered enemy targeting, currently it doesn't. Beetles (all enemies actually) move waaay too fast.
  12. Once again I'm sure if someone tweets Adam he will answer you.
  13. I will most likely play on Expert Mode in the final game but at the moment you kinda need the combat HUD on because the game doesn't give you enough information about what's going on - something they really need to work on. The IE games didn't need a combat HUD at all because it was pretty clear what was happening.
  14. Ah right, that's what causes the sounds to stop working. Yeah I thought I'd just play rather than sitting there reading the spell descriptions. I'll be doing lots and lots more videos right up until release and will probably re-visit some class challenge videos when everything is more stable / balanced Has the pause sound thing been reported?
  15. Absolutely true. I think Obsidian has used Icewind Dale 2 as their main influence for this kinda stuff, which is a shame as it does many things a lot worse than the other IE games.
  16. Yep although in a game it's more practical to be able to tell the difference
  17. That's actually a woman in plate, see what I mean though? You can't really tell
  18. These happened during combat with the Beetles.
