  1. I had to quit Assassin's Creed: Origins after 12 hours or so because the hand to hand combat is clunky and the boss fight with the hyena character really annoyed the hell out of me.
  2. Tried watching The Sum of All Fears but got bored after 20 minutes. :/
  3. I agree with you on Pharod and Anna, that moment near the Pillar of Skulls was truly a gut-wrenching moment. I personally couldn't connect much to Dak'kon since his pain was...not really *known* to me.
  4. The upgraded Xbox One X bc version looks better in some scenes. That was awesome. Didn't that guy used to have another channel called SinglePlayerGamer?!
  5. I wish there were more games like the original TW game. It wasn't 'open world' but each chapter had an interesting story to tell and the side-quests and the character were mostly connected to each other. This made the world feel a whole lot more alive compared to TW3. Playing TW2 for the first time is going to be interesting. I have it on Steam so one of these days I'm gonna give it a go.
  6. I'll play this from start to finish on my SONY CRT...you all have been warned!
  7. Their reputation wasn't really all that bad before this System Shock thing. They re-released a whole lot of oldie goldies that I dearly missed and they all work great on Windows 10.
  8. My impression was that the other signs are only useful in the higher difficulty settings. I used Igni at the beginning of the game(normal difficulty) but later on, during some of the more challenging encounters of the game I had to use Quen. Alchemy on the the other hand was never used unless the quest forced me to do so. I remember using Cat Eye a lot more in The Witcher 1. I still haven't played 2 which is stupid...just 1 and 3.
  9. I used Quen for the most part. Yrden can also come in handy if you're dealing with specters and such.
  10. I bought the PSone versions of Chrono Trigger and FFVI from the PSN. I heard some complaints about those versions as well but at least they are closer to the original games. Still haven't played any of them though. EDIT: Why not!
  11. True. I mean I loved Arcanum but the plot was basically: I guess the passing of time has made it more challenging to come up with something original.
  12. Cats are awesome.
  13. Did anybody ever visit the London Trocadero back in the 90's(I don't know how the place looks like nowadays)? It had a floor full of arcade machines. The few times I visited that place it felt like outer space! It even had VR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP8wSw4bBuA
  14. Turok 1 & 2 remasters coming to Xbox One: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/turok-and-turok-2-remasters-coming-to-xbox-one/1100-6456985/ ...and here's some new Shenmue 3 screenshots: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-02-26-new-shenmue-3-screenshots-show-more-dead-eyed-faces
  15. Battlefield 4. It ain't Bad Company 2 but it'll do.
  16. I bet the first Metal Gear Survive DLC will be the addition of a monthly fee to the base game.
  17. dat pot!
  18. Fallout 4 I am starting to like Far Harbor. The place is more fun to explore compared to the commonwealth. Kind of wish I had Longfellow with me when that happened but you can't have 2 followers and I heard that Nick Valentine is the most interesting companion to have around in Far Harbor. Any suggestions for Fallout 4: Nuka World? Who should I take with me? Longfellow maybe?!
  19. I still love the original Half-Life because it had a pretty dark story and setting. Half-Life 2 was a great follow up but my brain simply cannot compute WHY Valve decided not to wrap up things with Episode 3! In Portal 2 they even made an Easter Egg about their own failures regarding Episode 3: Shame. The only chance Valve have at redeeming themselves right now is... *drum roll* Portal 3! That way they could somehow fix things by explaining certain story elements from the view of Apreture Science.
