  1. *Sigh* Presence of BSN is getting stronger every day, endless romance threads, official LGBT thread, only two things are missing: 'philosophers' discussing same meaningless Choices over and over again, and teammate sectarians. To not be off-topic, I don't need any romances, but if there will be some funny ones, I'll check them.
  2. I've seen enough of traditional races, but I'm ready to see them again.I just hope new race will appear when there is a need for it and we won't end with long eared or bearded people. If we need some people who live whole life underground then humans don't really fit. If we need some neutral race with average abilities and which can live everywhere then... wait, do we even need such race? We are on forum, everyone can imagine that.
  3. I personally didn't like Zehir system. Some people see it as team's thoughts, but I see it as hivemind with small alignment/class fluctuations.
  4. Availabilty. I find memorizing system kinda unrealistic. Yes, unrealistic magic. Remember one spell three times, than use it two times and still remember one. Wut. I know about legit D&D explanation, but it doesn't really help. But mana has it's own flaws. It limits resource managing to one combat, it may look too casual in case your party in the middle of hostile dungeon. Exhaustion looks interesting. It makes you think about careful usage of powerful spells (unlike mana) and doesn't make your mage useless weakling with stuff when all spells casted (like memorization). I don't know how it will work in actual game though. Specialization I always preferred system with long but important spells. Many weak "magic bolts"? That's some magic archer. Instant resurrection and fire storm? Fine, but there's lack of tension for me. Combos I'm closer to "yes", but again it's usually made one-sided and without cons. Oil + fire = napalm party. Ice + fire = ice damage + fire damage. Oookay.
  5. Theme of government corruption. For some reason it always shown as isolated case when some villain (without friends and family of course) hides his corrupted identity from his whitehearted chief, rather than self-supporting system.
  6. If it's Crossroad Keep kind of house, than it's far more important for me. Besides translation can be done by fans.
  7. Thanks fot the info, now I have some idea about the setting. Right now I want to ask about two things. Non-humanoid sentient companion. naga, insectoid, anything. I don't care about backstory and character, since you are better at it than anyone else here. Make player's class matter outside battlefield. Few specific quests and dialog options would be nice. Situations when mage protagonist has nothing to say in magic discussion always bugged me. Come on dude, you are more powerfull than they are and yet you are the dummy who needs explanations.
  8. Honestly, raising at least two millions is inevitable. While Fargo called to old fanbase, Obsidian has large and living one. Hundreds of pages in Kickstart theme few months ago were quite demonstrative as well.
  9. I agree, I'd like to see some basic lore. That's cool, but that's kinda difficult to say something without any knowledge about Eternity world.
  10. RPG Non-real setting Non-linear story tied with variative skill system.
