  1. I mean, if it's not huge I'd rather wait for GoG than go with Steam.
  2. Steam is totes DRM as proven by their enforcement of regional pricing and gifts. Steam needs to die now, or at least see some real competition to stop them from engaging in this anti-consumerist behavior.
  3. I see people saying this but nothing to verify this. Seeing as the game is done, why wouldn't there be a pre-load if we chosoe to go with GoG?
  4. This. Time to burn the place down! Quick everyone, grab a pitchfork. I've always dreamed of being part of a mob with pitchforks and torches! I'd be the one yelling, 'Hangin's too good fer' 'em!'
  5. Please stop with that stupid, 'First world problems' meme. Problems are problems.
  6. Yes, I already stated it's Ron Perlman I'm asking who's decision it was to choose him to narrate the introduction. And I'm asking Tim Cain because he was the lead producer on the project and best suited to answer it. Fallout 4 will be announced at E3 this June. And you are aware that Obsidian made Fallout New Vegas, right? So again, given Tim's involvement with FO1/2 and now being part of Obsidian it's natural to make some assumptions here. I don't understand why you bothered to reply when you clearly don't understand what it is I'm even asking. And this is why I'm asking it in the Developer's section and not in General. Think before you speak.
  7. And we're not getting our digitial versions yet why? Last time I back anything from this company.
  8. So? Groovy for you. A lot of us don't however so give us our damn game now.
  9. Well seeing as people are already getting physical copies in ****ing Russia already I think they can release the digitial version NOW.
  10. Most excited about for the game or in general? Just getting the game...finally. I kinda' feel like... The Fella' Who Couldn't Wiat for Christmas! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCHM5YYWzUc
  11. Started PnP in 82ish +/-. D&D was always the main staple - Forgotten Realms/Dragonlance/Spelljammer/Shadowrun, all followed. Paranoia too. Most people have never played that game and it's too bad because it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on - and probably off. I'm amazed no one has ever made a video game of it because it would be a massive cult hit. http://io9.com/5973846/why-the-paranoia-rpgs-alpha-complex-is-the-greatest-dystopia-of-all-time I then moved on to (co)sysoping BBS', playing Door games, then MUDs as the Darpanet slowly became the internet, and then CRPGs, MMOs, and here were are.
  12. Thanks for the info, BA. However it does nothing to assuage my greed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuZhQQHlhQ0
  13. and we're getting it digitally, why do we have to wait another 8 days? Let us DL it now! We've already waited a year longer than we were supposed to.
  14. Thanks for the info folks.
  15. In as much that the leader is the one who always initiantes conversation or will that always default to the character with the best speech/diplomacy skill? I certainly hope it's the latter.
  16. Howdy Tim! Long time fan here. I've always wanted to know who actually wrote the intro to Fallout? Was that you? Who penned the actual words that have become the standard for the series now...."War. War never changes." Also, who's idea/call was it to get Ron Perlman to voice it? And with the announcement of Fallout 4 coming this June are you stoked for it? And will Obsidian be trying to follow it up as they did with FNV? Enquiring minds want to know. Cheers Cutter
  17. Or is it $25 dollars in toto? Because if it's the latter it's not really fair that 25,004 of us are getting screwed out of the beta for $5 just because we got in on the early adoption tier - and I really hate that stuff about kickstarters anyway. Considering how buggy CRPGs are - Obsidian's games in particular - you guys need all the testers you can get. Follow Larian's lead and open it all the way up. If it's an extra $25 that's just cray. And I'm super, duper cereal about that. Just like Al Gore and Manbearpig.
  18. Seems to me that's a massive waste of time and money better served by going into the game itself. Wasn't one of the main points of this crowd-funded work to precisely avoid the big publisher driven circuses and bull****? Most of the attendees at those things are into the shiny and vacuous crap like CoD, they couldn't give a rats ass about games like these. I'm all for you guys publicizing this and selling as many copies as possible to show its viable and that we can get more good, old school CRPGs made, but this sounds more like a paid vacation on our dime. Am I wrong? Say it ain't so, Joe. Say it ain't so!
  19. Note to team. Work harder. Work faster. Get six million dollars worth of bionics.
  20. I was out doing...stuff....when UPS showed up. Dammit! I want my package! And yes, the original Bruce is Bruce Lee, or perhaps Robert the Bruce.
  21. Never really got into Greyhawk or the other TSR IPs beyond Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance.
