  1. I was just glad that there were not to many of them to create an uber jedi. Would really caused a balnace issue.
  2. Thanks for clearing up the race name. As it too was a long time since I have read the books.
  3. Think I already said that about the d20 system as a guide line
  4. I hardly consider the words of a SINGLE officer (who has a mind of his own and clearly has issues) as an indicator that the entire Sith/Galactic Empire "hate aliens." I can't speak for Sith, but it's a known fact (not sure from EU, or movies) that the Emperor hated aliens. If that was a trait common to all Dark Lords of the Sith, then I can see why there aren't any sith aliens. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude that aint true the emperor's own body gaurds were alien!!!! If he hated them why would he trust his life to them.? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean those in fully red uniforms? I can't recall seing anyone of them without a helmet to verify that your claim. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its in the Trawn Trilogy they are the lil grey dudes that try to capture Luke and Leia in the first book. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's Thrawn and they were assisains/bodygaurd for Thrawn and were not seen by other people....let alone be seen in red unifioms. They wouldn't fit since they are only 4 to 5 feet tall.....and Red Gaurds are 6 foot something.
  5. Why would moral dispostion be considered for background information when you play your charater they way you see fit....... Regardless of your background..... Every heard of rich people/preist comminting crimes (yep) Unless you play an approximation to a chaotic-neutral/madman character or someone of dubious morals then I think it would be logical to assume that whatever pattern you followed before you returned to the world and realized all the sith trouble that that would be your moral disposition...a pattern of your char, as I mentioned in my first post, shackles of the past, would exist unless I had full control of my figure...is what I meant. A total deviation of personality would seem just as pointless if not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Personality still would not figure in to a general background creation.... Note "General" information. No moral or personality questions, cause you play as you would see fit in the game and not shackling you to your "General" backgound. Adria Teksuni can we get a little more info on the general backgound creation please
  6. Agreed Didn't like any FF games after FF3 (american release) cause they limited my choices and the stories were way over the top for my tast. Keep it true to the KOTOR formula with choices.... makes for a much better gaming expericene IMHO
  7. The system are there for guide lines only and the rules are no way set in stone, steal, datapad or what ever. Ever heard of "house rules" when playing PnP rpg's ?
  8. Very true But I would love to see an idependant jedi ending....... hoping for to much
  9. Sorry when i was writing my post you didnt post yet. Then I had to go do someting and I didn't refresh my browser to see what other people posted
  10. O don't think so. I think they will see it as somewhat of a hindrance, and maybe even annoying, but if they do in fact rent or buy the game, it shows that they have enough intereste in the first place. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why I said maybe...... I wasn't to sure if the causal gamer would the like idea of going through the extra steps to creating a backgound for their charater. Why would moral dispostion be considered for background information when you play your charater they way you see fit....... Regardless of your background..... Every heard of rich people/preist comminting crimes (yep)
  11. Ummmm, going on the idea of multi endings.... What about an independent Dark Jedi...... You aginst everybody ??? There has been various independent Dark and Light Jedi....why must you choose what side you must join
  12. Yes I think that would be great for general background on your charater. For the fans of the KOTOR games that would be a bouns (for me anyways). But for the causal gamer that might be a turn off. (Maybe) Kotor is the first rpg that I have picked up since FF3 (american release), oh so many years ago, and I have enjoyed it very much.
  13. These games are also set 4000 years before the " Empire" so it is possiable that the sith have not develop much hatrad for none humaniode spicies.
  14. It is safe to say that GL had inspiration from a mulitude of sources, historical, mythalogical, religous, and ledgends. So on that note " 'Nuff Said "
  15. That could be plausable since Reven was an intellagent character.
  16. I would have loved more generlized background info on Reven and Malak. I want there to be enough there to state why they fell to the ds and what really happned to Malak jaw.... From those generalized backgound the fanfic writers or players can go from there with their own history based on some general information.
  17. He was not above using them for his own gain, or purpose to suit his own needs....... As stated in vaious EU books and cannon.......
  18. Ohhhhh..... Thanks I never realy noticed her in EP1
  19. Who is Yaddle ???????? Is he from a game or book ?????
  20. I was just going to mentin Thrawn..... He was the only alien to ever reach Admiral status.....even in his postion the people around him did not like working for him because he was an alien.......
  21. intresting plot concept.....
  22. No not yet, but this is intresteing.... If we were to get an apprentice, I would like to mold them in my image....either LS or DS....
  23. I have listen to his samples and they are very good. I don't think the score is in bad hands.
