  1. I suppose "hate" ian't right word. A better way of putting things is that I resent Morrowind. It was a game that I really wanted to like and invested time in only to come away empty handed. I guess that's my fault though. To be more specific about why I dislike Morrowind in comparison to Daggerfall, there's one thing that really annoyed me. Before Morrowind came out I remember reading about it being smaller than Daggerfall. I reasoned that that could be a good thing because (I thought) that would allow Bethesda to deal away with the randomness of the previous game and make a smaller, but fuller and more fleshed out game world. Instead Morrowind ended up being smaller and emptier than Daggerfall. What I liked about Daggerfall was the sense of having a huge sandbox to play in and do whatever I want. What I didn't like about Daggerfall was the genericness and repetition of the gameworld. So Morrowind did away with I liked about Daggerfall but didn't fix what I didn't like about Daggerfall.
  2. Too expensive right? I was just too busy skiing.
  3. Eventually I'll do a dual boot system with XP and Vista. I'll wait as long as I can though.
  4. The two bigger brands are Sagres and Super Bock. Personally, other than Czech beer and Guiness I can't say I've ever found beer that I liked as much as the two portuguese brands. Oh, and Lapin Kulta was also pretty good. As for bad beers, American, Spanish and Swedish are the worst. Particularly Spendrups. Funny sidenote: In Portugal, a lot of people swear by either Sagres or Super Bock, and won't touch the brand they don't like. Anyway, my mom once did a market survey on beer and found out that nearly everyone who was dedicated to one of the beer brands, actually couldn't distinguish one brand from the other when doing a blind test.
  5. I really liked Daggerfall and hated Morrowind. What would you say about Oblivion to someone like me?
  6. I'll make Lonewolf's words mine: Good. Means I can hold off on upgrading for DX 10 for that much longer.
  7. If Starforce wants to justify piracy they're doing a fine job. Anyway, the only game on that list that I own is Silent Storm. Because of it I have a UAService7.exe permanently loaded into memory.
  8. I have tried a couple of german beers. Not hungarian beer though. Is it good?
  9. The best beers in the world are Czech, Portuguese and Guiness.
  10. Oh, ok. It's just that I already knew that such a PC was possible to build. I didn't mean to appear aggressive or anything. Go ahead and educate those infidels who think consoles are better than PCs.
  11. I have to say I'm not that impressed. Also, if you already have a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse there's a good chance you already have a chassis, which means you can take away 45
  12. He designed Populous. I'd say that's pretty impressive.
  13. With a large polo mallet? :D
  14. I'm sorry, but nothing beats alcohol that's made from potatoes. Vodka for the win.
  15. But vodka is so much better than bourbon! Oh god, I do love my vodka martinis. And it's pretty awesome to win women over by offering them a sip of my vodka martini. >_
  16. What's in a Manhattan?
  17. Vodka Martini. I always get looks of "this guy's an idiot", when I order it at bars, though.

  20. The complete lack of initiative everyone seems to suffer from, around here. The tendency to blame everything on everyone else.
  21. I was a big fan of the original Sim City for the PC back in the day. A couple of years later I also got the Snes version. It started my love of city buiding games.

    Communism

Lenin wasn't testing Communism he was, supposedly, making reforms to lead the USSR to Communism. At best, you could say that Lenin was a rosy idealist who didn't see the actual consequences of Marxism-Leninism, at worst he was a right bastard intent on reaching a position of power. Anyway, what Marxism-Leninism misses is that if you force Communism on people you're missing the point. Communism can only work when, and if, the masses are ready to accept it and that is why society's evolution is essentiall.
