All characters in KOTOR2 are better than the ones in the first game. They're just better written.

What are you playing now?
I've said before, I'll say it again: Darque and Gabs are a Dynamic Duo.

Yet even more of my claims come true
I don't get it. If the Xbox 360 has this awesome hardware, why wasn't the console released with software fully supporting its capabilities? Furthermore, they probably will have to release new devkits so that developers can actually use the snazzy hardware features. And, of course, this means the devs will need more time to learn how to properly use the new devkits, thus delaying countless games. So, what was MS waiting for?

That song was huge when I was 13 or something.

Who uses Vsync?
I never use it. I've never seen the point of it, as the tearing doesn't bother me.

MLS all-stars beat Chelsea
Chelsea has been successful for one reason alone: Mourinho. Every other team that has been built exclusively on ludicrous amounts of money and big name signings has tanked. Goods examples of this are Chelsea before Mourinho, Real Madrid, Inter Milan in the past 10 to 15 years or Paris Saint Germain. These teams are always one big nightmare to manage, and Mourinho is the only thing holding it together.

POST YOUR SPECS
My card gave me a huge boost on Civ 4. Before it I could, forget about playing Civ on huge or even large maps, and on standard maps things could chug quite a bit. Now, all runs fine with everything cranked up.

IGN's NWN2 impression
I'm betting this is right up the alley of Suikoden fans.

POST YOUR SPECS
Errr..., that's not a 150% percent increase, it's a 50% increase. Still great, of course.

Guitar Tabulatures are now illegal!
When I was around twelve, one of the things I wanted the most was a stereo with a double tape deck. I don't recall even knowing what the term piracy meant.

POST YOUR SPECS
That system gives me 45 frames per second in Oblivion with HDR on plus those nifty texture mods. That's all I need.

NWN2 delayed until October
How many CRPGs are there with a toolset as powerful as the one in NWN2 is supposed to be? The only one I can think of is Oblivion which is a very different game with very different goals.

That post is nigh unreadable. Try to write something that makes sense, and while you're at it, learn how to use punctuation.

NWN2 delayed until October
You need a 7800GT to get the game running reasonably well? That seems a bit harsh. I bought a 7600GT just last week, and it even runs Oblivion well with HDR. Is the game engine already as optimized as it's going to get?

Philosophy 101
Even if the universe were infinite, our technology only allows us to see back in time about 15 billion years at this stage. However, there are a number of supporting observations to suggest that the universe is only about 15 billion years old, and seems to have expanded from a point (hence the Hubble observation of the Doppler effect and his constant, etc). I do remember seeing a model of the expanding universe and it was a bunch of concentric "shells" of galaxies, clusters and cosmological elements, seperated by large voids. We just can't see beyond the last layer, fifteen billion light years away. (And even then we need a super-bright source called a Pulsar, which gives off the equivalent of the Sun's energy in a second, or something similar.) So, as far as we can tell, the universe is not infinite. Although there is no reason why it couldn't be. The latest theory I read the other day was that black holes contained entire universes. I'll dig it up after breakfast if you like. One of the more interesting areas in Astrophysics is today is question of how the expansion expands. One of the most puzzling things about the universe, right now, is that matter doesn't seem to be distributed homogeneously. Some places seem to be more densely packed than others, which would, apparently, indicate that the expansion isn't regular. This, if it's true of course, might require a complete revision of the Big Bang hypothesis. What's that black hole theory about meta?
