  1. Don't you just have to go to the loo to get your funds back?
  2. Which European countries are you talking about? Also, turnout is an excellent way to measure the success of a democracy. Low turnout indicates that people don't care about who governs their country. Finally, I advise you to get Firefox 2.0. It can spellcheck your posts. "jokenly" is not a word by the way.
  3. I also do more or less what you do, except I don't upgrade as often as that. And I still don't think it's worth just upgrading the processor. I'd say wait for budget DX10 cards to come out and then, if you can afford it, buy a budget graphics card, a Sempron or Celeron, a budget mobo and 1 or 2 gigs of ram. It would perhaps cost 300 or 350$ (American). Getting a new processor and more ram, but keeping the graphics card probably won't do much of a difference because the graphics card is most likely, already the bottleneck.
  4. I would advise against upgrading anything until you can afford upgrading the Big Four. A new processor won't be much of an improvement, anyway.
  5. I have just tried the beta patch. I now have the water thingies on and switched to increased resolution. Woohoo!
  6. don't you dare compare Donnie Darko with Butterfly Effect. Butterfly Effect is one big turd of a movie.
  7. Sweden is awesome! And Portugal does better than I expected.
  8. Do you have v-sync on?
  9. Try playing it windowed, then.
  10. Actually, I'd switch On Her Majesty's Secret Service with From Russia With Love, but other than that, I've gotta say I agree with your list. Although I think Moonraker should get a top 8 position too. For the campyness.
  11. Can - Moonshake I can't stop listening to this song. Can are beyond beyond awesome.
  12. Are you a Diana Rigg fan too?
  13. I think you should get reasonable fps (I guess around 20-25) with everything disabled.
  14. I think that's a very rare bug that happens when NWN2's resolution doesn't match your desktop resolution. Try fiddling with those, and see what happens.
  15. Oh, I love BG as much as anyone, in fact the only reason I don't play it anymore is that I practically know it by heart now. I just think the whole exploration part of it wasn't very well done or engaging. To me, the best bits about BG were the more focused, tight parts of it. That's one of the reasons why I love BG2 so much, actually. They kind of the ditched the exploration parts but made other areas a lot fuller. I guess that, in a way, Bioware accomplished the kind of transition between BG and BG2 that Bethesda tried to do from Daggerfall to Morrowind and failed.
  16. BG had sometimes a huge, empty area where all you could do was walk around aimlessly, with one NPC sitting around waiting for you to arrive. That kind of exploration was mostly pointless. The world of BG1 felt generally empty.
  17. Check the post above yours Raven Grrl.
  18. What are your specs Roshan?
  19. "Because real life is for the weak" could be Role-Player's slogan.
  20. This is not music, but is what I'm listening to right now: Monty Python - Logic Versus Sex Good evening! The last scene was interesting from the point of view of a professional logician because it contained a number of logical fallacies
  21. It's because of different accounts in one computer or in a network, where the user doesn't have access to the game's folder, but has access(obviously) to his documents folder.
  22. What's the point of having that many saved games?
