I would agree.

Same here.

Same here. Also enjoyed their pretty solid alpha build. I really enjoy the teamwork in this game.

Not that I want to be spoiled in the least bit also don't want to miss out on a bunch of content but is there ever a point in the first map where you can't go back and complete quests? I seem to making good headway on The Mysterious Muder quest line and have a silly fear that once this quest is done, I'll be thrust into the second but in sure that can't b true correct?

A lot of praise for Divnity Original Sin, but I haven't seen any screenshots, but I'm assuming either you're too busy playing or not wanting to spoil the gameplay for others, but here is my group of level 6 characters so far. Just loving each moment I get with this game for sure!

Is be interested in xcom if you have it? Wanted to check that out sometime. Or the darkness 2. Haven't tried that yet? Sorry didn't see the previous post by Hurlshot.

I have to say, this game has been great. I've been reading everyone's comments about the good components of this game and I have to say that I agree with them all. I'm about 5 hours in and have been enjoying every minute. I also have started a multiplayer game with a friend and going through a little quicker due to knowing the story and quests so far, and even that has been superb. I spent some time with the early access, probably about 15 hours, but never got that far into it when they would patch it and thus corrupt the saves, and have only recently been seeing new gameplay and areas, and am constantly curious to see what will come next. This game is definitely one of my favorites of the past few years for sure and reminds, in a way, of my first time with Baldur's Gate 2. This game makes me look forward to Pillars of Eternity for sure, but I'm happy to wait since I'll be spending quite a bit of time with this gem. Oh, and I will say one thing. If you're not playing some kind of spell slinging class, you're playing this game wrong.

Well, I picked up Van Helsing 2 on a whim, but haven't play/beat the original since it released last year, so I went back and am almost done with a playthrough as the Thaumaturge class so that I might transfer it into the 2nd game. While I'm not crazy about the hit impacts throughout the game, I will say that the game has charm as far as environments, some banter between the characters and I really enjoy the music. I'll finish up this playthrough as I only probably have less than an hour left and will be gone over the weekend, but then I'm probably sad to say, I'll be putting off my transfer into the 2nd game as I'll be starting Divinity: Original Sin on Monday, which I'm extremely excited for.

That's exactly why I hesitate to preorder right away for pc because they haven't and probably won't for another few months. I'm assuming I'll be playing this on the ps4 which I'm not too hurt about since I believe the devs will do all they can to make it a great experience by pushing the system.

Which new games will you be playing soon?

I was very excited to see this and have been running different classes through the beginning part trying to figure out which route, class wise, I wanna go for the first run. -
I won't go as far to say that the swooping mechanic is bad as I've only started the game but the game says, push space bar, and then you'll swoop, however that doesn't appear to be true. I would like to know if this is a bug or just that it only works in certain circumstances? I'm playing it with k/m; should I play with a controller, would this mechanic work smoother?
-
For those that have played the new Thief, how can I know when the "swoop" mechanic is actually going to work? I honestly have no idea when this thing is going to work when I push Space.

Now that I have a decent gpu, well decent compared to my last one, I'll have to play through TW2 again and enjoy the experience a little more this time. I would jump on the preorder train for TW3 but I'm assuming that I'll be playing that one on the PS4 due to pc system requirements when they're finally released. But honestly, with the developers they are I'm sure it'll look great and play well, even on the console.

I've put a far amount of hours into both gams and while they have a few similarities, I will say Grim Dawn Is much more approachable. I feel Path of Exile to be for the true hardcore gamers who have hours upon hours to invest and time to learn the complex spider web known as the class system. While I enjoy Path of Exile, there is a clear cutting off point where you either proceed to invest days upon days of your life hunting for gear or just give up on the character and start over. And that's only if your class you have made on your own will make it past level 50 grim dawn is more casual and while their class systems give variety, there is enough wiggle room to not feel that you've invested hours into something that will just not work. I myself have been finding that Grim Dawn "just feels good" to play reminding of my long stretches of Diablo 2 and more recent Tian Quest. The story and lore is more interesting and the loot, in my opinion is better While Path of Exile's crafting at first seems more complex and fun, you'll soon begin to realize that 80-90% of the crafting material is really worthless. But Grim Dawn has a ways to go and Path of Exile is free to play. Right now, it's an easy choice for me. Path of a exile was great for a time but when I found out that I literally came to a crossroads of progression based off of extremely chancey RNG or putting dozens of hours into it, I just didn't have the time nor did the game have the pull for me. Hope that wasn't rambling and could somewhat be perceived as helpful.

I agree completely, every enemy basically being chopped into giblets is a bit much, but it does save on memory I'm sure without having bodies on the ground. And I will also say that the game has great balancing so far. I wanna try an Occulist run next trying to be a summoner, so I'll have to check out that balance but so far melee and guns have been pretty solid. I wanna play the 2nd Van Helsing game, but think I will wait a bit to see some more patches released as I've heard it still has some issues, including the balance you've talked about.

Alright, hit lvl 32 on my Blademaster build in Grim Dawn. Still really enjoying the game. I believe I've made it through all the content available. Have gone through the Steppes of Torment which is currently only 3 levels with a mini boss at the end. Have a bunch of loot with a bunch of set pieces. One thing I will say is that the hits feel really good in this game. I like the lore of Van Helsing games, but it just doesn't feel like you're "hitting" anything when you strike. I would even say that the hits feel better in Grim Dawn at present than they do with Diablo 3. Gonna try and post an image for the first time of my character at present. Thanks to those who recommended the imgur site. Hopefully this works out. But anyway, really having a good time with this game and do look forward to each patch and more content and can't wait for the release.

Man, after watching that trailer. It almost makes me hesitate and lower my expectations, because it can't be "that" good could it? I know it's CD Projeckt, but honestly, Witcher 2 was fun and looked superb before release, but even that game had some glaring problems. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for this one.

I believe when I got through all the content available, I was level 30-31. I headed into the Torment Ruins where everything was levels 36-39 and was doing fine after a couple levels but definitely want to explore more I think I have two pieces of that set as well being the mallet and the helmet. After finishing the content I'm not quite sure if that is all of act 2 or not. It could be but it didn't seem to have a definitive boss like the Warden, not that it has to but the previous content surely had a more definitive end to it but I did enjoy the content just the same. Very eager to have the full release for this game for sure.

I have been playing Grim Dawn for the past couple weeks off and on and have a level 28 character and have really enjoyed the enhancements they keep making to the game and the added content. It has great atmosphere and good lore throughout. I'm excited for the final release hopefully before the end of the year.

How about Fez. I'll take that. I believe The Swapper is coming to the PS4 and I was gonna try it out on there. Thanks

Been playing a little bit of Watch Dogs. Hacked into someone's game and was able to successfully hack the person and leave. Then I was invaded where I walked into an area, the person got freaked and start running to a car, got into the car and was got in a traffic jam where I could easily take him out. Quite funny to be honest, but I could see these functions being quite fun.
-
I would take the If either Fez or The Swapper is available, I would like to try either one if available, but certainly not both. Just appreciate the offer.

Due to originally being released around E3 and wanting to garner more marketing when the medi market is quiter right? -
It appears to be uncompressed audio files. Of the 48 GB size of Titanfall, 35 are "completely uncompressed audio." For Van Helsing 2 it is the "Terrain" folder which comes in at 15GB. Wasn't the first Van Helsing game a large download as well? I believe it was which was surprising to me due to the size of the game but I chalked it up to being a small developer.
