  1. I think it was written 2000 years ago. Personally I'm partial to the Art of War by Sun Tzu.
  2. Why did she torture him? Why do crazy people do anything? At this point I think the person who hit Sayid was "Alex", it makes more sense now that we have more info to work with.
  3. I've yet to see a good reason not to have one.
  4. Spam is bad though
  5. She was part of a group of scientists on the way to tahiti. Torrent it and watch it again if you don't remember
  6. Might be the best option.
  7. Maybe the scientists were transporting biological test subjects in the form of the bears and a viral agent. After scuttling on the island I guess everything got loose and began infecting the scientists.... though I wonder if "she" is the infected one and now sayid. I wonder what the significance of the "Black Rock" is, someone did a real translation of the mayday transmission from the second episode and the REAL translation mentions the Black Rock.
  8. Probably in a "I'm LOST because everything hasn't been told by the end of the second episode" way
  9. Have you scanned for virii? I know there are some spyware installing trojans out there. Also there are some forms of adware that lurk in your temp internet files folder, deleting those might kill it too.
  10. Spyware is evil
  11. And this blind devotion to "it didn't happen unless I was there" approach that science uses is why VAST ammounts of proof is just thrown to the wayside or destroyed outright because it doesn't fit the existing model.
  12. well, if all evidence traces back to him, then that puts him as the source... otherwise, if there was another source, then the phrase "all evidence traces back to plato" wouldn't hold, would it? i haven't had a chance to read chemchok's links yet to comment... network problems at home and i've been busy at work. this is one area i'm certainly open for ideas on... of course, i am a skeptic. the bummer is that we'll never know what really drove plato to the scant description he provided. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice try... but you fail. Given the age of the info this could easily be a case of Plato being the only link to older info that may have been common enough at the time so he didn't feel the need to post sources but that has been lost to history sense. There are a LOT of cases where this has happened historically. To quote Volourn... you lose.
  13. Hey neat It's shaped like a mini-herse
  14. Just because it's traced to him doesn't mean that it doesn't have an older source though. After a few thousand years, a loss of the great library and a dark age... a lot of ancient fact and fiction was lost. It could very well be that he was talking about a real place, or a place made up by him. With equal chances of each.
  15. Someone convinced me to play BF1942 once... they thought they'd have a lot of fun with me until they discovered (and I guess I did as well) that I was a natural when it comes to the tanks in that game :D hehehe Boom.
  16. I didn't know the "The Sims" had a multiplayer option ?!? " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess you'll just have to play that game alone then Probably a good thing to, that game looks like it'd bore me to death. I'll stick to strat games and you stick to your... whatever the heck that kind of game is :D
  17. Wow, 3rd time this year Those ruins sure get around.
  18. the brother and sister.
  19. Looks like a target.
  20. oh, this is a sports thread
  21. I wish developers would realize that graphics are a means to move the story and game, not the story/game itself. I've heard that someone is trying to make JA2 mod friendly, with luck they'll succeed and then the user made content will begin (for example)
  22. I hate to say it, but all the recent releases have been disappointments to me... I suddenly feel the need to play an old game.... Oh look, Jagged Alliance 2... I think the age of the RPG is gone
  23. The who with the what?
