  1. Oh, I can understand that I refuse to buy a console unless it has at LEAST 5 games on it I want. Which is why I never bought an Xbox.
  2. I think I did a dual once. With the head of the Mage's Guild. I had my wings on so I flew to the ceiling and was going to drop 100' area 100 damage fireballs on him... only to find he had flew up with me and started whacking me with his staff So I just turned invisible (I wasn't a melee type) and waited.... His spell wore off and he fell to the ground... splat
  3. I feel for you I don't think I could live without mine
  4. Oh my goodness I may give melee a try if I ever get around to installing morrowind again
  5. You should try REmake (if you have a 'cube) it's way way way improved over the original Though now it's a horror game and not a comedy.
  6. Was it the Daedric Daikatana? :D As for meleeing... I wasn't too fond of it in Morrowind, but I'm finding it darn useful in Daggerfall (currently using an Elven Daikatana)
  7. UZIs. I explained it earlier Take a low value weapon (like a steel dagger... steel daggers are best actually) Slap a soul gem on it and enchant it with a low powered damage health enchantment. (like 2-4 points of damage per hit) You can fire spells from items at the speed of your mouse clicking. So you can unload a LOT of damage VERY quickly. Like firing a submachinegun
  8. I'd like to point out that primacy isn't always a factor. I started with RE then moved forward, but my favorite was RE3 until REmake came out. It might be a factor in Silent Hill though, I love the first one... the second was a bit lame (might have appreciated it more if some fool hadn't spoiled it for me), 3 overdid the horror and it became too common.. 4 was a step in the right direction, but the NWN style gameplay killed the immersion.
  9. Well, yeah :D But challenge is fun too I mean I made my first UZIs at first level Only 15 shots a piece with low soulgems, but still :D Of course cliffracers are an unfair advantage for the computer. <_< So I guess it balances out.
  10. Ah yes, that makes perfect sense <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think anyone has ever accused Drakron of making sense before.
  11. Let's see... things I made. I had a belt of permanent levitation, waterbreathing and Light 10' (I think I named it Angel's Wings) With the boots of blinding speed you can find you can levitate so fast you can cross the island in about 5 minutes ZOOOOOOOOOOM I also made a full set of low leveled health regeneration/stamina regeneration clothes. In melee I healed faster than anything could hurt me. That spell spamming lich was a different story though. I also am fond of Steel Daggers enchanted with a low level attack spell. With a big enough soul gem you can have about 50-100 shots... and each one fires at the speed of a mouse click... I think of them as my UZIs :D I was also big on Alchemy... which was even worse. By making potions to enhance your INT to make even better potions you could make enhancement potions that lasted litterally hours. I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally hope Oblivion is more balanced.
  12. As someone on the gamefaqs board explained it (and it's a good description) Resident Evil is SURVIVAL horror. Silent Hill is survival HORROR. Each series holds part of the whole, but with no happy medium. All series tend to go downhill. As for ROOM 309 (the original title I think) it probably would have flopped without the SH name added to it. It was rather bland.
  13. Fixed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm cool with that
  14. Wow... I don't even remember writing all that New rule: No posting after 5 am
  15. No, no The Scythe is just for looks My religion will be the Cult of the Almighty $ Basically you get into heaven free no matter what you do... so long as you give me all your cash Then, you know, you go off and live an asctetic (sp?) life like those Buddist monks or something. And I'm sure I can find a way to "safely" deal with all that cash so it doesn't hurt anyone. See, in the end everyone would be happy... well at least me anyway
  16. That's irony that'd make for a good story ending
  17. Well mannered and eloquent, I like it :D Let's see... on topic.... though as tired as I am I doubt it'll be as well written (hopefully it'll at leas be legible) My friends convinced me to try this PnP game based on Star Wars... since I liked star wars I figured why not. So after several games (which led to the first Death Star Battle) I decided to help out (despite the gamemasterperson telling me I wouldn't be a survivor because that's not what would happen in the movie or some such) Anyway, out in space I see this tweaky looking TieFighter with bent wings so I figure let's shoot at it, with my torpedo things (sure I was supposed to use them on the Death Star, but I knew who's ship that was so I figured, why not ) Anyway It came time to roll all these dice, and if you rolled 6s you got to roll again... I ended up rolling a 60 or so on only 6 6 sided dice Poor Darth Vader Of course the game runner person said I missed despite my uberhit because "that's what happened in the movies" <_< Lame But he did let my character survive... and he was really quiet afterwards for some reason. Probably a lame gaming moment, but the look on his face after that roll always brings a smile to my face. It was like I had smashed his car or something
  18. I'd probably go with leather of some kind. Not sure about style. And I'd want a scythe.
  19. You could have done that without using instigation style tactics. And the simple fact remains that spammers kill threads so there's no point in me attempting to "breath life" back into it. If you were truely concerned with the resurrection of this thread you wouldn't have continued spamming.
  20. Now you're trolling. I'm sure you're proud of yourself
  21. Idealist Summary of Idealists - Make sense of the world using inner values - Focus on personal growth and the growth of others - Think of themselves as bright, forgiving and curious - May sometimes appear stubborn More about Idealists Idealists put time and energy into developing personal values that they use as a guide through life. They may seek fulfilment by helping others improve themselves and often want to make the world a better place. Idealists only share their inner values with people they respect. Idealists enjoy discussions about a wide range of topics, particularly those that deal with the future. They are typically easy-going and flexible, but if their values are challenged they may refuse to compromise. In situations where they can
  22. This thread's discussion did not end, it was killed.
  23. I want to start my own religion. Don't you get tax breaks for that?
