What are you playing now?
Not to mention they "really" screw with people who've played the original. REmake is one of the best games ever. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't remember a lot about the game since I haven't touched the original in quiet a while, but I was definitely expecting to know my way around the place. Good changes I would say though. ... I'm not alone when I say this game is hard right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well.... umm.... Maybe it comes down to playstyle. what's giving you difficulty?

is there a difference between rpg and fps anymore?
Ok. I'm sure the one unit sale said gamecompany would lose will make them want to accomidate you next time. And since I'm having this flashback of Volourn saying something similar to you once, long ago, I'll add a r00fles in for good measure.

It would depend on teh type of game it is. If it's a generic RPG like say... Morrowind.. you might have a point. But if it's an RPG where the view and what you can and can't see is important, then having a toggle would not be a good thing.

The same could be said about the change from FP turn based rpg games like Bard's Tale... the old icon games like Wizards Crown and Pool of Radiance... or Iso turn based games like Fallout 2... or Iso real time games like Baldur's Gate... Times change, games change. Adapt or be unhappy.

Or maybe they just play on widescreen monitors. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed.

Space Strategy Games
It's cheap. It's a giant sandbox. The campaign is basically a series of semi connected skirmish maps. It has an AI that can likely beat that pants off you without cheating. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sold! Now to find a copy

That's why I recommend Gothic 3. With all it's faults, this game encourages exploration in such natural and handsomely crafted beauty you start to loose a sense of time... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That game is a system hog, isn't it?

That game was RPG perfection. I'd like a game somewhere between Fallout 2, Deus Ex and Vampire:Bloodlines.

Space Strategy Games
I need a new Space Strat game. Someone sell me on Galactic Civ 2 that was mentioned earlier.

What are you playing now?
Currently in Silent Hill 3. Definately a fav, though mostly because it's part of the story arc created by Silent Hill (my #2 fav game )

I agree with this. But at the same time, I think games are being dumbed down and streamlined. <_< I want to explore. I want areas not connected directly to teh plot or any part of the main story. I want risks and a chance of loss. (though given the whole save game system this isn't going to amount to much)

You only say that because you love MOO3.

What are you playing now?
I'm not sure I'd go that far. Anywho, currently getting ready for Silent Hill 3 now that I'm done with Silent Hill 2 and Born from a Wish.

Do you have a zombie plan?
Interesting read.

What are you playing now?
Hey I just discovered that faq not more than an hour ago. So far it's been a good read. I notice he keeps quoting people, are these "official" sources? (note I've only scanned it so far, rather than in depth reading) As for the change between 1/2/3/4... well.. I'm of two minds. On the one hand, I'm not fond of change... but as a gamer... I like RE's gameplay and SH's story... so it doesn't bother me that much. As for 4... the fact it started as a non-silent hill game probably didn't help it. One other question... what is the "Silent Hill Experience"?

What are you playing now?
I think the cool thing about the SIlent Hill series is that each game is different, rather than more of the same in each case.

What are you playing now?
I honestly hate you. That game is staring at me right now asking me to play it. plaaay eeeet But, I want to build a module! *cries* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Build a survival horror module. Win win!

Master of Orion 2. You need no other game than this one.

Do you have a zombie plan?
Poor Morgoth. To the rest of you, let that be a lesson, lest you end up like our unfortunate friend.

Do you have a zombie plan?
1) Stay on the move. Barricading yourself in = death. 2) Never carry more than you can comfortably pack. Being slow = dead. 3) Don't bother with melee weapons unless you're willing to die. If you can melee them, they can melee you. 4) Always carry a melee weapon. If you don't, you're screwed anyway. 5) If you see one zombie, avoid it or kill it. If you see more, run. 6) Don't expect anyone to watch your back. 7) Guns don't kill people. Guns kill zombies. ^_^ Guns run out of ammo though, so don't get ****y. 9) Get the hell out of town. The greater the population density, the greater the potential threat. 10) When using melee weapons, avoid bladed weapons. Blades chip, break, and get stuck in bone. It takes a LOT of strength to cut off a head. On the other hand, kinetic energy does amazing things when applied via a lead pipe. 11) Never assume any place that's been populated is safe. If there were people there, there are probably zombies there now. 12) Get on top of something that'll allow you to still move. Like Rooftops. You can climb, they cannot. 13) If they can climb or run, you're screwed.

Possible PS3 Title
Not a clue. I'd see the 360 a better candidate... but that's just a guess on my part.
