My Suggestions for Grounded 2 content

Playground Builder Finally I give you my Playground Idea, The Orc-cade. Not your usual Arcade slash amusement park yes there's games, rides(and rollercoasters), and prizes but they're all meant to be more of a creepy challenge than fun you'd have to progress through the whole thing to get to the last challenge, a big pinball machine(Imagine a Pin-Ball machine where the background and scoreboard are a giant animatronic of the stranger and her saber, across the center of the massive blade is the strangers HIGH SCORE). Everything in the Orc-cade will be built using materials the teens use to build with along with omni-tech and orc-waves. Teens will only gain entry by putting their gear and items into a contraband chest. Each area will give a brief description of the area and it's challenge and then require the teens to call upon a specific Buggy, weapon, and items from that areas chest to help them with the current area and it's challenge(all other items, weapons, and Buggy's not suited for the challenge will be grayed out and non-retrieveable). The Pin-Ball machine at the end will require using the trio-buggy I've mentioned before; Ate-teen None-teen, & Twigty. Ate-teen will use themselves as the ball None-teen and Twigty will aid as the bumper controls, rocking and knocking the Pin-Ball machine. Each time Ate-teen goes to a loss hole and Orc-wave attacks. The goal is to beat the Strangers High Score. When the teens reach 1/4 of the score an Orc-wave attacks prompted by a downward strike of the strangers cry of frustration and their giant saber damaging parts of the game field surface and producing new loss holes. this repeats every time 1/4 of the strangers high score is matched. -

#7- (Tripple threat boss fight) Ate-teen, None-teen, Twigty: Imagine an Orc controlled Young roly Poly(Ate-teen), Adult Roly Poly(None-teen), and Stick Bug(Twigty) that the teens have to fight all at once. Imagine the stick bug tried squishing the teens by using the roly poly's as bowling balls. Imagine the tick bug lifting the adult roly poly above it's head and straightened to fall like a hammer to crush the teens. Imagine the young roly poly using the stick bug as a bat to try and swat at the teens. Imagine the adult roly poly using the stick bug as a stick to knock the young roly poly like a kick-ball towards the teens. Crazy Boss fight right? Reward = Imagine after defeating them and freeing them form the orc device they become a unique Buggy that turn into a Buggy-Cycle with the stick bug as the chassis handlebars and seat, the adult roly poly as the back wheel, and the young roly poly as the front wheel, the coolest buggy yet right? -

#6-(Boss) Tarantula Hawk Wasp: This vicious thing has been known to lay it's larva into tarantula's as well as turning other prey into zombies. Imagine a boss fight where it will sting a passing ladybug to recruit it to fight for it, or what if as a last ditch effort Zombie Axl joins the fight. Another cool idea like the healbasa would be the zombasa that the teen can throw to recruit their own insect helpers to aid in a fight. RARARARAAW SCSCIENCE lol. -

#5- Stick-Bug: what I imagine is: somewhere in the park is a thick forested areas like the hedge where there are lots of stick bugs but also many, out of just out of reach places to get to with no clear way to build a path to, well the Stick Bug Buggy can either become a mobile bridge or call some friends to become a bridge right in front of the teen heck why not some Stick Bug Buggy steps while we're at it. Did you know Stick Bugs have these sweat glands that produce a stinky venom to ward off threats. -

#4- Rhino beetle: I'm sure this has been suggest or wish-listed as well, for a shield, armor, bludgeon; but what about a Buggy that can charge up and break through cracked wall areas, or even daze an enemy insect?! Maybe it would even help gathering those tough materials that the omni-tool hammer has a hard time with. -

#3- Cicada this insect is very interesting. Though it is docile and seemingly harmless, it could make for a great buggy as well as an environmental roadblock. Picture your teen trying to balance and jump from one branch to the other in some hedges only to alert the Cicadas who have the vibration clicks they make that at up close can reach decibels of jet engines knocking it's intruders off balance with an audio shock-wave could be useful as a buggy and an awesome set of armor that is sound/shock proof as well as certain bugs that have a weakness/immunity to sound waves. -

#2- Jumping Spiders: I know there are already spiders in Grounded and Grounded 2 and different species, but I feel skies the limit to the potential adding Jumping Spider to the Park; Like, a new armor set with a higher jump attribute, as well as a smoothie to help the teen jump higher for a period of time. Another cool idea I had for them since we already have daggers from the other spiders in Grounded is a set of spider-fang nun-chucks. Furry handles with spider fangs protruding out of the handles for damage. Of course it will make a great Buggy as well for high or far areas for hidden goodies. the "building to get there" will become a thing of the past. I also will leave this open for any more cool additions anyone else can think of adding. -
Please note the concept art attached is not a complete representation of the ideas suggested. Most of the text is explaining in depth details of the ideas suggestions and Obsidian knows what they will need to incorporate them into the game if they are selected. I believe Grounded has so much potential and is wide open for a lot to build and add in content. I appreciate the opportunity the developers have given all of us to be a part of the building process. Although I have personal opinions of the sequel having some short-comings, I still appreciate and love both games and have faith in the developers to keep me shrunk for years to come. If you see something you like here please upvote it on the discord , I will greatly appreciate it, as well as any criticism or additional suggestions please comment them below. We are a community who all have love for this franchise and I am not against anyone adding to my ideas and suggestions. In advance thank you for your consideration and support. And Thanks again Obsidian. more insects and conceptional reasoning: I am suggesting some new insect ideas that may help with progression, building, and immersion if considered and added into the game: I am also sharing a video that explains more about these insects in the real world. I will try to be specific and add as much detail to them as possible. #1- Robber Fly: this insect is vicious, it attacks wasps mosquitos etc. if they are the insect world's "Fast Mover"(a.k.a. fighter jet), then they are the Robber Fly's prey. the video below can explain more. I'm sure Flying buggies has been suggested or wish-listed a lot for grounded, and a Robber Fly would be a great selection for that as a buggy, Alternatives for items and drops could be grapple hook/repel line maybe some vine swinging action. other than that I will leave it open for other ideas for gear or features.

I hope this is not seen as just a compliant, but as a rational feedback from a member of the Grounded fan community. If I start with the short story of the experience with Grounded 2, I'll say I'm glad to know there are so many other games to look forward to while I wait on this trickle of disappointment so far and am not to optimistic of the long wait for full complete launch of Grounded 2. What happened? Did you guys forget how to make this game or did some of you lose your passion or imagination for it? the reason I ask this, are as follows. So much hype was put out there to influence the expectation that the sequel will be better or at least live up to the first Grounded that I fell that's what you guys are riding on instead of developing up to that. It is a fact that early access to the first Grounded had way more than what we now have for Grounded 2. The first update to early access of the first Grounded gave more as well. With the Hairy and Scary update as well as the limitations and the missed growth from the great potential it is nowhere even close to building onto, from, or surpassing Grounded. I thought you people were "bringing it" since the success of grounded that you not only were going to expand on it but also open up to the community to expand on the Grounded universe even more. At first glance the Hairy Scary update is more bug fixes than it is content. For example Facing Axl is pretty much redundant it's like you trying to get people to just choose to skip it. There's nothing more than the new oversized bow and arrows for defeating him the rest of the stuff you can build or create with his drops is so blah silly and pointless. Leaving me ask why even spend the long amount of time to engage with this giant? There's no tying him into the park other than his knocked over tank, there's nothing tying him into the story there's nothing really beneficial to him at all to waste resources or time on him. This was not the case in Grounded, there we got to see more of the yard, 2 new bug bosses and way more content that said more than "See that areas over there you passed like a million times over there? Yeah!?, Well now there's a big axx spider over there now if you wanna go check it out. Whats that? what do you get? Pfft nothing much besides just a big bug to fight for a lengthy amount of time." It's like you call them drops because they are nowhere near what can be considered rewards. There not even any achievements for beating him. So plain and empty that is. Looking at what we can see so far there no build to better than Grounded even in the roadmap it falls short. All I can see that we're going to have in the end is the same old Grounded just in a park now i see a couple of new materials but even after discovering them their uses are so limited and "ugggh, really, that's it!?" Where's this "BETTER" and "IMPROVED" you hyped up? Take the buggies for example. Great addition so much potential and the idea that the different buggies will take you to new areas with their unique qualities fantastic but where do we get to take that? chomp some roots and go a few feet for some raw science? Or the orb weaver, web crawl up the side of the snack shack to the top of this A/C unit for a snail, another orb-weaver and 2 gum nodes really I grinded to get to this orb-weaver buggy to just get this? Wheres the discovery and adventure of the JR Indiana Jones' you turned us into in Grounded? Where's the Achievement/Reward we got in Grounded? So let me get this straight right, You guys teamed up with another great studio and have been working on this for three years and this is all you guys got? Really!? C'mon man wheres the game you want to make and we want to play? Really, I'm not bashing you, I love the work you did and do. I love Grounded but right now I'm just like are these body snatchers or impostors? wait their joking right there's gonna be more they said there was gonna be more. I do not expect an answer in words I am a Fan I'm waiting to be blown away like you did the first time so that means you and I both know its more than possible. Like seriously they brought me into Honey I shrunk the kids but said No this ain't that honey I shrunk the kids this is your honey I shrunk the kids on milk molers fully yolked. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. I hope you see in here many way that can help improve and build on for all of us even you to have the Grounded 2 we wanted.

They said in the IGN interview they are answering EVERY SINGLE POST and they are not. There are so many great suggestions and ideas that they say they want all the feedback and response from the community, and they are not responding. Furthermore Grounded 2 has waaaaaaay less in early access than the first grounded had early on. We the community are basically building the game for them like they have no ideas and direction. I don't mind this, more games should be influenced by the consumer/player community (it actually used to in the golden ages of gaming), But stop going out there being dishonest for one there are many of us who said and agree it feels empty and less than the first grounded, and you are not responding to the community or their suggestions. Your only responding to plain compliments that come with nothing extra, seems a little narcissistic and shady. All that's new is riding an insect to go nowhere and do almost nothing. After seeing that dude LIE in that interview that all they're receiving is positive feedback and that they are responding to everyone is soo untrue. Patterns have proven when they start lying like that the product quality gets further and further away from the desired product as well as the time in which it is completed.

I have been playing Grounded 2 since launch, and although I am enjoying it, my experience has been rough with certain bugs impeding my play-through. Wolf spider and mosquitos by Entrance are not spawning in. wolf spider by ceremony stuck in the big black rock. dismounting buggy on an elevated built floor lands me stuck in the floor. Some of the ranger quests have been completed times over and not checked clear or giving me the raw science rewards. ranger quest make five smoothies not completing. My fuzzy armor and sizzle armor are upgraded to the max and I have plenty of both smoothies they are all ineffective when in the fire pit(mage armor and mintminto) and when in the flipped ice cream cart(fuzzy armor) I cannot take a screenshot because my health decreases almost instantly as the chilling or sizzling bar are rapidly filling and I die. Again smoothies and armor not working at all. sometimes when gathering resources by chopping or digging they pop into the air and upon hitting the ground they phase through the map and are unobtainable. This has also happened to my arrows they will go inside of rocks branches, roots and phase through the floor and I cannot pick them back up.

I'm really enjoying grounded 2 and the new park so far. there are some major issues that may have already been reported but I'd still like to add them just in case. Entrance wolf spider is no longer spawning in the planter area at all, nor the mosquitos behind it on the concrete steps close to the game signs. Ceremony wolf spider is inside the big black rock and cannot get out. materials sometimes fall through the ground(map) dismounting buggy on elevated built platforms causes you to get stuck in the floor piece. buggy is not as fluid as it should be when running along the surface/ground getting stopped by tiny piles of dirt and such so annoying. My suggestions Please in the next grounded can we have carried progression while bringing in the new? I found it very restricting that the ideas all have to be relearned and the stopping point leaves the game feeling empty if whats new besides the buggy's and the park area. New bug Ideas and suggestions Fleas Tarantula Hawk wasp centipedes(aggressive) millipedes(Docile) Monarch butterfly Trapdoor spider(more underground discoveries) Since we're going to be collecting parts for Burgle another option besides the base moving being able to craft those fast travel elevator tubes as seen in the statue and some ranger stations, to travel between floors. they can be used to travel between bases players build as well as an elevator system to travel between player built base floors. Hope we see the return of the Ant-lion!
