  1. Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
  2. I only bought pre-con decks to use as a base to build my own. For instance, the Ivory Doom deck I mentioned earlier I added a couple of cards that gave all of your creatures of one type +1/+1, a couple that gave all your creatures of one type fear, and some that gave all creatures of one type protection from black. So my army of 6/6 clerics who could only be blocked by black creatures but couldn't be hurt by them were pretty devastating. Could still be fireballed, but that was avoided by the clerics that prevent X damage, where X is the number of clerics in play.
  3. The Ivory Doom onslaught theme deck was the last one I bought. Was a great base for a cleric deck. I added about 10 cards or so that made it very powerful. I haven't played in like 5 years though so I don't know anything about current cards.
  4. AND kids. Marvel won't change there comics? Why not the audience grows smaller and has been for such a long time, maybe a change is in order. (Angrliy shakes fist) Stay off my lawn young punks! There are comics out there for every kind of person except those who don't like pictures in their books. The problem is people think they're just for kids or nerds and no one outside the core audience buys them, and kids are too busy playing video games to read something.
  5. Yes, they do rock ridiculously hard. Last time I saw them was back in '95 in Vegas, during the Heatseeker tour iirc. Do they still end the show with two huge cannons rising from the stage while playing For those about to rock? Man, I can still remember the concussive force hitting me in the chest when they fired those cannons. 12 cannons.
  6. My guess is Marvel's comic stuff will be unchanged, and what we'll see is a lot more marketing might. We might see an X-Men series on ABC, and surely all the marvel cartoons will now air on one of disney's susidiaries. Apparently the Pixar crew are insanely excited to be able to utilize the marvel properties and were already talking to the marvel peeps before the deal was finalized. Disney would be smart to start plugging comics in general in various movies and tv shows in order to break the idea that comics are for nerds and kids. There are titles for everyone, and owning the biggest comics publisher, breaking the mass-market stigma on comics would be a good idea.
  7. Its good, but not as good as the Hogfather. Sean Astin does a fan nod and orders "po-tay-toes" in a tavern.
  8. Just got back from an AC/DC concert. Angus Young did like a 25 minute guitar solo. It was epic.
  9. I snagged it this morning before work, and haven't had a chance to play it yet. I grabbed it sight unseen figuring its Mass Effect it'll be good. Now I'm seeing the backlash against it and wondering if I made a mistake.
  10. **** or GTFO... Post pooper... Copypasta... etc.
  11. One of the devs in the Vicky 2 forums that Vicky2 will be based on HoI3. Based on that statement I will not be buying it as I didn't like HoI3 at all.
  12. Apparently Loeb's work on Hulk is pretty awful too. Ultimatum had some decent ideas, and some of the deaths were needed/interesting, but overall it was terrible. Magneto dying was a good thing, he's overused and after what he did it was the only way to go. I don't understand how he could use magnetism to kill all wolverine's cells though. Wolverine is so overused so I didn't mind seeing him go, but until I read Ultimate X-men requiem, I thought they were gonna go Ultimate Cable with him, which would have been cool. Janet and Hank's deaths were stupid. They managed to make Dazzler cool then they killed her. Syndicate was one of the like 2 new characters they made up for the Ultimate U and they kill him. Nightcrawler was a terrible death, the man can effing teleport, how does he get killed by a wave? Cyclops I don't mind dying, I didn't like the method of his death. Doom's death was lame and he shouldn't even be in the freaking universe anyway.
  13. I kept saying Marvel needs to trade Jeph Loeb back to DC for Geoff Johns, then I realized that that would mean GL would likely suck
  14. I scoff at this statement. Since when has a DC event been anything else than a confusing cosmic mess which ultimately leads back to where it started? I'm not up to snuff on DC events, I'm only following Blackest Night as its most directly tied to Green Lantern, which is one of two(the other being Green Lantern Corps) DC books that I read. Let me rephrase though. Blackest Night is like Ultimatum, only better written.
  15. So after 2 issues of Blackest Night and like 3 deaths, I'm saying that Blackest Night is Ultimatum, only well written.
  16. I think my favorite sandman story was the one about the emperor of the US. Especially when it turned out to be true.
  17. I love paradox for the simple fact that the EU3 expansion is made up of pretty much 100% fan suggestions.
  18. If Uwe Boll would give up on directing and become a Producer, he would be a powerhouse. The man is a prodigy at securing funding and grade A talent, if he could just put that towards projects that aren't destined to fail from day one....
  19. I enjoyed YDMWTZ a lot, watched it 3 or 4 times. Its funny in how over the top ridiculous it is. Summed up perfectly by Zohan's infiltration of the terrorist hideout and battle with Phantom. Phantom was walking on the god damned ceiling. You can't look for more than stupid humor in this movie, and if you are you're watching the wrong movie. I just sat back and enjoyed.
  20. Its on DVD as well. My friend got it. http://www.amazon.com/Watchmen-Directors-T...6319&sr=8-2
  21. Lucifer is superior to Sandman in every way.
  22. Saw GI Joe, enjoyed it for the most part. Note to studios: If you're going to screw with established characters, let people know how you're screwing it up months in advance so we can get used to it before seeing it. Thats what GI Joe did. I had already got all my whining out about Baroness being Cobra Commander's sister and Scarlett being Ripcord's love interest and Cobra Commander's costume being a complete abortion that I didn't care once I was able to see it. Well... I still cared about Cobra Commander's costume being terrible. It not even just terrible compared to classic CC's look, its one of the worst villain costumes in the history of film. Also, Joseph Gordon Levitt had a perfect Cobra Commander voice, and they ruined it when they put him in his mask and made it all deep.
