Some games are half price, not many but still some good ones. Worldwide sale. PSN sale is also live I think. Has some good games. Deathspank for $7,50 is a good deal. North America only. Apple stores have an ongoing sale, but I haven't really been following it.

Varric is the only one that has a fairly good design. Without knowing anything about him, I'm guessing they were inspired by Tyrion from George R.R. Martins' A Song of Ice and Fire.

I have multiple saves just in case something like that happens. The game crashed and I freaked out, thought the save was corrupted, but I was lucky.

I was assuming he had already played Alpha Protocol. That would be a good RPG for you. Not a super long game, but good replay value. And I think I have mentioned this a few times already: GOTY 2010.

I thought Dark Messiah was ok, but it felt more like an FPS in a fantasy setting.

There must be something wrong (in a good way for me) with how I play this game. I think I will easily spend 100+ hours on my first playthrough. Planning to find every location, and complete every mission I can + the small fetch quests from different people.

Wich consoles do you own? NIER was great for PS360. Surprise hit for me. Action rpg, but you don't get skill points at level up and no armor. You do get many different weapons that you can also upgrade later in the game. You can also equip "words" for better attack, defence, stunning enemies, etc. I recommend it because of the music, story, characters and boss fights. Just don't expect the best looking game. I have not seen any of his movies, so I wouldn't know what I am getting myself into. I just want to see Dolph Lundgren in action.

I had both Morrigan and Wynne in my party, and even with an Arcane Warrior, I intend to use them again.

But if he already unlocked the classes on his first playthrough, they are unlocked for every other replay of the game.
