  1. I think retailers have a role in this too. Gamestop exlusive, best buy exclusive, Walmart exclusive, blahblahblah. In this particular case, I don't think Obsidian has any say in the matter.
  2. So far, I have only seen it offered for Walmart pre-orders.
  3. Sounds better and better the more I read/hear. Now let us wait for the actual execution of it all. I'll be there day one whatever happens.
  4. When i clicked that earlier on the site, it redirected me to the timeline synopsis.
  5. Ok, I guess that Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment are giving you special treatment, becuase the rest of us will see the game in May.
  6. Already pre-ordered!
  7. To stay clear from the M rating, maybe?
  8. My Dual Shock 3 is ready. My release date prediction wasn't that far off(June).
  9. It was a day one game for me but now...? They just lost a customer. I don't even think they warn you about that on the EU PSN, but I did see the note on the NA PSN. there aren't even any online modes in the game. Requiring you to be online EVERY time you play an offline game is a no go for me.
  10. Was a soundtrack released? I want to listen to the music when not playing the game.
  11. I salute you and your initiative! The character seems a bit inspired by a samurai design, I like.
  12. Looking great, Dark Souls shall be mine! Also, (don't think anyone here cares) Tales of Graces F is getting a Western release. Manly tears were shed.
  13. Wow, that preview was awful.
  14. Always forget about this one.
  15. Indeed you did, but I already knew that before posting here. The second boss was crazy. Snowblind aren't great with balanced games it seems. The first CoN was very easy, a joke even. But here you could easily be one shotted if you aren't careful enough. Still enjoying it, even if BG:DA2 was better. Wish we got more games like this this gen. Sacred 2 wasn't too hot. Untold Legends(PS3) was a disaster, Deathspank is more parody, Torchlight is fun in small doses. Titan Quest was good enough. This year could be great in this regard: Dungeon Siege III Diablo III Torchlight 2 LOTR: The War in the North D&D Daggerdale
  16. We don't even know if that is the final or only way co-op works anyway. I'm thinking Secret of Mana co-op type for offline. Let me give you an example: -I'm playing the game on my own. Recruiting a Party member(Archon Mage). I have played enough to reach level 5 with my characters. -My brother enters the room and asks if he can join in on the fun. He will be controlling the Archon Mage (lvl5). We play for two hours and we are now level 10. We can both equip our characters with dropped loot. But wait, my brother has soccer practice and needs to leave. I continue the game without him. -I played from level 10-15 on my own. -Bro comes back from practice, picks up controller and is now controlling level 15 Archon Mage. This mode would be a good way to introduce a casual player to the game. I also think we will have the usual 2 player co-op a la Champions of Norrath & BG: Dark Alliance. Speculation? Yes.
  17. We'll see how The Witcher 2 does saleswise without its DRM. I'm thinking it won't end well, unfortunately.
  18. Still playing Champions: RTA This game really feels unbalanced at points. It's still fun, but some of the bosses are crazy.
  19. It works that way for 2 player offline co-op. We still don't know how online multiplayer works.
  20. ME3 got a PS3 demo. Maybe this is something they will be doing in the future. EA usually has demos of most of their games.
  21. I haven't played the Kasumi one but I was incredibly disappointed in the Shadowbroker DLC after hearing so many good things about it. Waaaay too drawn out with its combat (though I guess that goes for most everything Bioware) and the Shadow Broker himself was just... wow, incredibly lame. Really expected more from it. Overlord was also way too drawn out but the final setpiece was really nicely done. On-topic... Not really playing anything at the moment. I felt the Shadowbroker DLC was one of the better missions in the entire game. But the actual Shadowbroker was a bit of a joke.
  22. Unfottunately, we do not know at this point in time. All I know is: Offline co-op 1-2 players Online co-op 1-4 players Bit we do not know exactly how it works. Many of us are still asking this same question.
  23. I understand some people want the compass, but they could give players an option to turn it off. Win-win situation, really.
