  1. Oh wow, Morg defending Dave Cage? Now I've seen it all. One bad thing doesn't somehow magically excuse another differently bad thing.
  2. Just for the crazy Bodycount guy who was desperate for reactions, this is as close to the average dude as you're going to get: Giantbomb quicklook. Don't say I never did anything for you.
  3. Since yahtzee actually reviewed something relevant for you old people, I hereby resurrect this thread from the dark oblivion of pages that no one bothers to click through: Deus Ex(the first one, not the one with the guy who didn't ask for this and the people with the weird clothes)
  4. Alan Wake? Dead Space? What is this, GameFAQs? Amnesia or bust!
  5. I guess I'll have to see more. The shooting in MP was always kind of all over the place except for sweet shoot dodges, I mainly like it because of the story and style(as cheesy as it was at times).
  6. Will it still have graphic novel cut scenes?
  7. I was just kidding. And they aged everyone up.
  8. They really should have called it Deus Ex 3: *subtitle* with all the billions of remakes around these days you'd be doing a favor for the future generations.
  9. You say that, but I fall into the camp of gamers who, when using sliders to create a face, are thrilled when their creation comes out looking mostly human. I thought that was like 95% of people? I'm sure I'd get something better than that monstrosity by pressing the "randomize" button a few times.
  10. The discussion is about the promotional material not just being generally bad, but cross eyed and bad. Obviously you can make your Shep look as bad(or good, I guess) as you want.
  11. Oh, obviously and it's a pretty good business plan if you can afford it. I'm just speculating on g+'s fate.
  12. True, but on the other hand it also makes them more impulsive and quick to leave their products to die(Wave, Buzz, Orkut, Jaiku, Dodgeball). It looked like they were pretty determined with g+, but I don't know if that's still the case.
  13. It's not generic, it's just bad.
  14. So, do we know if we can keep Shepinator or is there another mandatory makeover?
  15. Soo much angst. If she doesn't slice a reaper every 15 minutes with her holoblade she'll go on a rampage for sure.
  16. All the tools have been available for some time now, nice to see that we're finally seeing some actual movement away from the increasing "game factory" syndrome.
  17. Would be interesting to see some stats on how their previous integration efforts have worked. Google's backyard is littered with dead or mostly dead services.
  18. The article's point was that you need to bring something more than g+ has to the table to get any decent momentum going and you're going to need some serious momentum to even scratch FB's stranglehold.
  19. That's where the line is drawn, you can either make small budget games that push the medium and work up from there or make boring by-the-numbers mediocre cash cows. I'm personally just disappointed that he went with the second option. At least he's not claiming to be some great innovator like certain other "star developers". @Majek: It's not like they can program it better these days...
  20. It's not about being for or against something. Spector used to innovate, push the genres, these days he makes games severely limited by their platform and controller choices. Epic Mickey ended up being as mediocre as it was because Spector tried to push his amazing concept onto the Wii with both Disney and Nintendo breathing down his neck. There's nothing wrong with just working nine to five to put the food on the table, but today's Spector is a far cry from the man who worked on System Shock, Deus Ex and Thief.
  21. More like an artist selling out, brah.
  22. Lies! Desperados is the undisputed champion of the Commandos subgenre.
