  1. It's for the best. No Bio game could ever compete with a cybernetic Anubis riding an unicycle and shooting lazerz. Pew pew pew!
  2. I agree that it's probably a timed exclusive and will eventually make it's way to PC, but if it doesn't sell on consoles is it really likely they'd port it too PC? Did Psychonauts sell better on PC? I mean if it sells poorly on one platform it doesn't make much sense to port it to another if you think it will do even worse. It has TV ads. And Jack Black. And TV ads with Jack Black. If it doesn't sell, Armageddon comes. And Jack won't save us from the devil this time...! It's still a weird niche game for the PS360 crowd. Word of mouth will get it some nice sales, but it's not the kind of game that will sell millions on the PS360. It's also coming out in the fall where it'll be buried under the Maddens and Halos...

I'm pretty sure they're porting it as we speak, or when the console versions go gold. It was planned for PC for a long time, then some time ago it went console only. If it sells badly, they'll want to maximize the profits and they'll release it on anything they can. On the PC it'll have way longer legs, especially if it's good. Consoles games have always been a big bang and fizzle(except Nintendo's first party games). EDIT: Getting your 360 fixed if you're living outside of USA must be fun...
  4. It's probably a timed exclusive for the consoles. Once it fails to sell, they'll fall over themselves to put it out on Steam etc.
  5. Star Wars 1977 was not meant to be (part of) a trilogy. Carry on Someone mentioned Empire Strikes Back before, I was referring to that.
  6. Try to get the evil evil ending, it's AWESOME! And grab One of Many while your at it.
  7. Well, I didn't and shouldn't FULL games have proper endings? It's not like it was a trilogy like Star Wars, it was a bona fide game. MotB's end fight was even more ridiculous imo. It was more of a metaphoric fight and IIRC it didn't have like four different "phases"...
  8. MotB's ending is so much better, I feel bad for the poor OC. The whole end fight is ridiculous...
  9. Ocelot says hi. Crazy Hideo Kojima in a straight jacket tumbles by and mumbles "Nanobots, it's all about the nanobots".
  10. Then its a given there will be revolvers, and they'll probably be better than most other pistols for no reason. Half-Life confirms this. Now I want to dual wield the grenade launchers with the revolver-style magazines
  11. What's wrong with the old Armageddon? It was pretty awesome.
  12. Dude, you are going off the deep end here. This isn't an Eastern European tactical combat simulator. It's a fun spy game with crazy spy stuff and movie weapons. Also, the game had unlimited ammo not too long ago, I'd be happy if the guns kill people, not if their caliber is correct or whether you can replace the trigger group to make it shoot faster.
  13. You missed all the fun. Oh well.
  14. It's no fun when you know of the MADNESS that is Indigo Prophecy's "plot". The only way to experience it is to play it without spoilers.
  15. *Another Indigo Prophecy reference I thought everyone had played it by now
  16. That was the Purple Clan, not the aliens!* *Indigo Prophecy reference. But how does the AI play into this? Everybody always forgets the AI...
  17. God help us all.
  18. As funny as it may be, everything on TvTropes is a trope Still an awesome site, though.
  19. Depends on whether you have a decent PC or not. The 360 version will probably be 720p, so if you have a monitor with a resolution higher than 1280x720 and a decent video card it'll be prettier on the PC. Also, you can you the 360 controller with the PC if you really want to...
  20. Damn those Trigens!! I wanted the whole game to be like that. Who needs damn freeze-happy aliens? And the ending was also lame. I feel that Farcry accomplished what it wanted to do and was a good game, especially for it's time. Crysis, on the other hand, feels like a bunch of crazy ideas duct taped together with extra shiny duct tape.
  21. It was a generic shooter with pretty graphics and a few gimmicks. The gameplay felt uninspired, there was so much potential for cool stuff, but it was mostly unfulfilled. The zero-g stuff was cool, but that level was horribly confusing. It lost the Farcry-style "choose your own approach" thing half-way through and turned into a lame linear shooter. I did have fun with it, but I wouldn't call it a good game, I'd call it adequate.
  22. No Fryda Wolff Otherwise it's ok...
  23. Played it when the demo first came out, pretty cool. It's not a girls name here, the closest would be "Triin", I guess.
  24. I enjoyed Far Cry 2! There. I said it and I am not ashamed! (It could have been a LOT better, though) Maybe we should do a bad games anonymous? I enjoyed Crysis, even though I was totally bored with it at the end. It was fun to fling guys into building and stuff. It's like seeing a crappy movie like Wolverine, but enjoying the lameness
