Im playing Dishonored 2 at the moment, its great and exciting and well worth the money spent When I first bought the game it kept crashing after 5-10 minutes, I assumed it was because of a known bug I read about on the Steam forums and the solution was to wait for the next patch I then played Black Flag and that also kept crashing and my forum investigation revealed another bug, I started thinking " gee these PC games have become unstable ...might be time to get a console " Then I noticed after some hardware investigation that the fans on my Video card weren't working and this was due to a faulty power supply...so the issue was hardware related from day 1 and had nothing to do with patches, bugs or the perceived "instability of PC games "

The issue is the Republican ideologues in Congress which will not agree to anything sensible. On Obamacare, they want to simply get rid of it, regardless of people who can't afford medical insurance. On tax cuts, Republicans including Trump, want a huge tax cut and at the same time increased military spending. In addition Trump wants a 1 trillion infrastructure plan, government paid family leave, and assorted other spending increases. All this while we already have a budget deficit that's projected to grow without bound, and a huge amount of unfunded future liabilities. Meanwhile, no one is even talking about bringing medical costs under control, which is the main driver of the budget problems. You raise some valid considerations . I share some of your concerns

Remember the old " draining the swamp " from the presidential race, he definitely hasn't achieved much on that front

But I do think his overall speech was a positive one, he condemned bigotry and mentioned the USA needing to unify or other similar things and he did receive positive feedback from most polls

Ben you are missing over half the conversation. Alum & I were discussion a single benefit offered in the employer provided health insurance for public sector employees in California. It's offered as part of their employment compensation benefits. It is not "State Healthcare" in the way you are thinking. My point was whether it is a waste of tax money (that is obviously needed elsewhere, like the Oroville Dam) to offer what might be considered elective surgery on the public dime. The thing is that those things can be address those grievances but there are things that are higher on importance list for those who decide things, like fighting over if gays can marry or not, for billionth time. I think the rights of the gay citizens of any country should be more important than trying to integrate immigrants Citizens rights IMO should always come first in most cases But the thing is we increased marriage right to include same sex unions several years ago, this year our new government wanted to take that back just month before the new law come in effect. You joking? You telling me the Finnish government is trying to reverse gay marriage in Finland, what was the outcome ?
