  1. I might just concur, hot Chicken wings with a Roquefort\Blue Cheese sauce ...oh yeah. I will drop pizza for wings You are allowed to change your selection because this is final 5 meals So no need to be too concerned with healthy meals but sushi is delicious
  2. Good choices, I do love shellfish like Crab and Lobster but I had limited choices I also haven't eaten that very expensive steak like Wagyu.....it is super expensive in SA
  3. https://store.steampowered.com/app/350640/Sherlock_Holmes_The_Devils_Daughter/ Has anyone played this game, its on a massive 90 % discount and I battle to ignore this type of discount
  4. You right, Im not suggesting Covid is the end of mankind at all. Once the vaccine is out our lives will definitely start returning to normal and I cant wait But dont you have favorite meals you love and would want to eat if hypothetically you had 5 days left on the earth?
  5. Thanks, I did some reading on this and it discusses UK military intervention in numerous ME conflicts But its not covert military intervention or what the Anonymous article suggested that the UK is involved in " military crimes ". The UK parliament officially supported Operation Shader as a legitimate UK military intervention. https://www.forces.net/news/three-years-op-shader-1500-airstrikes-against-islamic-state I also see there are small groups of UK soldiers deployed to Syria so I was wrong to say " the UK has not deployed military " But my point was really how Anonymous has mischaracterized the UK global role it has played in legal military intervention
  6. Sup All Without sounding morbid the pandemic has changed many things for the world and despite the important advancements mankind has made we are still globally impacted by things that none of us can control....like Covid The pandemic has reminded me of the brevity of life and how sometimes we take things for granted like going to a bar and restaurant, freedom of movement and spending with family and friends and the significance of relationships If you had one day left on this world what would be your favorite 5 " last meals " ....its hard because most of us love our food and there is so much food I enjoy but I have made the list below A good Sunday roast, Pork or Beef and all the relevant side dishes like Yorkshire Pudding or roast potatoes with gravy Pork Spare Ribs A full English breakfast Pizza ...yeah, good old Pizza...you cant go wrong Cheese Fondue What would be your 5 favorite " last meals "
  7. You right I am afraid, its a terrible time to be a Socialist ....what dont you switch sides? And its easier than you think. It starts with something incredibly simple but symbolic....you change your forum name to " CapitalistMaster " , personally I think its got a nice ring to it ?
  8. So who is going to watch the first presidential debate tonight between Trump and Biden? I want to but its a bit late for SA time, I think it starts at 1am for me so I will watch the highlights tomorrow
  9. Malc have you heard from volo recently, he has been conspicuous by his absence ? I hope he is okay, I know he didnt believe in wearing a mask so I hope his silence isnt related to the virus
  10. Im not sure, there is a Mod that silences there comments and general noise if you find that annoying https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/745 But I am not sure why you would want to, outside of your criticisms, remove your squad from planet deployments because sometimes there are quests and missions dependent on a specific squad member being in the squad and commenting ? And you will undermine any Romance arcs if you didnt have a squad in deployment IMO So I would contend your squad is an intrinsic part of the overall Bioware RPG experience ....I doubt I would play any of there games if there wasnt this gaming mechanic
  11. Orog !! I cant believe you would make such a joke....Im more concerned that this game will lead to an erection and undermining of proper RPG
  12. You really must use Mods, I am currently playing MEA and that is not my experience at all..my squad plays an effective part in all combat Here are some good " squad " Mods that should address your issues https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/359 https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/812
  13. Also there is no forum rule that says people have to comment on any topic they feel is repetitive or banal...if you dont like a topic thats okay but other people may want to comment
  14. Gfted1 you should do what I did, I have never read this epic fantasy saga....so I can never forget anything about it ...its genius so that way you wont be disappointed by any comparisons
  15. Links ? I particularly want to read how what you mentioned is an example of " Law-abiding British taxpayers continue to sponsor dozens of military crimes committed all over the world"
  16. Several reasons but based just on the conspiracy theory link Dark provided it talks extensively about British troops being active in Syria British troops werent deployed to Syria, there was no reason for the UK to do this so if you can find me just one credible link discussing this from any international news network website, like Al Jazeera if you dont trust other media houses, I will definitely read it and possibly change my opinion on this The only information I can find discuss possible deployments in 2019
  17. https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-3-races/ Some pertinent information around races in BG3, it might be old ...sorry about that
  18. Thats not very gender equality friendly Hurlshot....how do you sleep at night ?
  19. Nah, no real issues with companions that are significant or long lasting. My party companions always have a purpose and function that matters in my RP journey I simply dont chose people in my party that are annoying and or stupid
  20. I read the general summary and I find it hard to believe, whenever I read a generalized statement like " Law-abiding British taxpayers continue to sponsor dozens of military crimes committed all over the world " I become very skeptical about anything after that in this type of " exposé "
  21. You make some reasonable points and I agree with some of them But just to share something with you around the global immigration problem and how regions and countries deal with it. There are different levels of abuse and sometimes not much abuse of immigrants as the immigrants also benefit For example you mentioned the ME and countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar, this region has been notorious for unfair labor practice for years in certain economic sectors like construction and house keeping, I have travelled many times to the ME and this is true. But this is not the same reality as citizens in countries like USA, EU, Australia or SA face around illegal immigration The ME brings in laborers and workers but they fly into the ME and only once they start working or sometimes at the airport there passports get confiscated and they have no choice but to accept certain work contracts which can be very unfair However with the other countries I mentioned immigrants dont fly into these countries because obviously the fact they dont have papers would be determined at the airport and custom checks and they would be refused entry. So the difference is illegal immigrants arrive at borders and enter the country illegally...but they are not prevented from working for different companies or taking daily jobs because there passports aren't necessary but the work is all in the informal sector in the example of the USA or where companies break the law and hire people without papers But the good news is the ME countries are changing slowly and committing to fair labor laws and recognizing workers rights https://www.bwint.org/cms/qatar-bwi-welcomes-important-progress-for-workers-rights-1997
  22. I enjoyed the second season, I am not sure more or less than the first season . Its like I mentioned earlier, sometimes I would think I was watching a teenagers series but I still kept watching it so I clearly was enjoying it But how do you know they poured money into the second season, I didnt think the budget seemed much more than the first season based on a guess around costs of filming and props ?
  23. Its a good question and is different in different types of business but in your example each stage of the product sets its margin\markup\profit but its actual price is dependent on the stage before where applicable because there would generally be a cost for all stages of the creation of the bell pepper, like the farmer who grows and harvests it . But you will find Amazon has large back to back contracts with transport companies and possibly exclusive rights with farms. So basically the farmer sells the pepper to Amazon for $1 but he has costs to produce that pepper like wages, housing, electricity and water so he makes 30c /[pepper Amazon can almost absorb all other pepper costs and sells it to us for $1.50 so they make 50c /pepper But if this is tied to farm workers both Amazon and the farmers really have a legal and ethical responsibility to the farm workers....Amazons is more ethical as the farm is probably independent
  24. You may be right but I think you will find this is a global concern that all countries share around the immigration problem, many people have legitimate concerns around resources and how these resources are allocated to citizens and to people with papers. But all governments have to balance there commitment around integration and allowing legal immigration to there own economic and social commitments to there citizens...but I am not familiar with the US Agribusiness so maybe they should be doing more But its more about resources and not just what people get paid which is definitely part of the debate. You have to consider factors like housing, healthcare and schooling
  25. Yes and you are correct there will definitely be examples of abuse but not everyone in the informal sector is abused through unfair labor practice, like underpaying someone But we have no real data on the degree of abuse as its the informal sector and in many cases people dont keep records for wages or payments and people dont generally complain as its also to there advantage as I mentioned
