https://www.gamingbible.com/news/platform/pc/elder-scrolls-6-rival-bigger-skyrim-free-248247-20241007 This games map is 5 x bigger than Skyrim and was created by a former Bethesda developer It seems to have some interesting mechanics, @Wormerine wormie what do you think? Day 1 purchase? " Hunt nightmarish monsters from ancient folklore in a mysterious open world, collecting their enhanced sense powers and discovering elemental arrows. Beware, the hunter is also the hunted,” teases the synopsis. It’s essentially a first-person open world action-adventure with a good dashing of horror thrown in there for good measure too. Rather uniquely, the UI exists within the game world so, for example, you’ll actually need to glance down at your quiver to see how many arrows you have left. Tattoos on your hand reveal your health and active powers, while symbols on your bow reveal your noise levels which are important to keep an eye on if you don’t want to alert nearby predators as to your whereabouts. Wow that looks excellent, you talk about an interesting moral and legal conundrum The right thing to do is remove himself from jury duty and admit he could have accidently killed her? -

That is interesting and it makes it more realistic but realism for the reasons you mention wasnt why the cast was so young https://movieweb.com/the-dark-reason-why-the-cast-of-alien-romulus-is-so-young/#:~:text=Speaking with Variety ahead of,with audiences when they die. " Speaking with Variety ahead of Romulus’ premiere on August 16, Álvarez revealed that the reason he chose such a young cast for the movie was because it would resonate more with audiences when they die. He says it’s much harder to stomach watching someone who is in their prime get ripped to pieces, compared to someone who has already lived a full life." Previous Alien movies didnt intentionally have a young cast for this reason It was a realistic mix of ages that made sense around there roles and lived experience and what they knew -

I started watching Romulus but I stopped after 20 minutes I couldnt watch a movie where the entire crew are so young and they suppose to represent colonists, you have to some level of institutional experience to be a colonist or scavenger which requires lived experience. They should have included some older crew with the younger crew to make it believable I was reading the reason the crew were so young was because the director felt it would make there deaths more emotional and jarring, it has more impact in a horror to see young people getting killed than older people. Apparently its quite good but I couldnt watch it I also watched the new Salems Lot Its worthwhile, its not excellent but it has some good parts to it even though it feels rushed It changes the narrative in several ways compared to the 2 other Salems Lot movies and the movies are always different to the book which is the best way to understand the story. But books are generally always better -

I played Kenshi for 100 hours but then I decided to stop. The reason for this is I am not really into building cities and simulation games And a huge part of the point and design of Kenshi is building a city and all the mechanics around this I really enjoyed what I played, I explored large parts of the game and completed several bounties and I raised my melee skills to 55-65 for most of my party But end of the day if you not going to build a city then the exploring becomes monotonous and so does the scavenging for items because the ruins are all more or less the same . I ended up with 500K Cats but nothing to really spend it on because I had already bought or found most of the best equipment Its not fair for me to give this game the very popular and globally influential " BruceVC game score " because if you not going to embrace and participate in the core design of the game then you cant objectively rate the game. It would be like playing a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game and saying " I dont play games where you have to explore " In summary, great game for what its designed to be but end of the day its not for me. But I dont regret playing it at all -

https://www.npr.org/2024/10/04/nx-s1-5140058/satellite-images-dozens-iranian-missiles-struck-near-israeli-air-base There are several sources about the "real damage " done for those interested, the IDF cannot control or censor this type of analysis especially when its gained through satellite images What Im disputing is the suggestion that something like a whole building or apartment was destroyed in Tel Aviv or another town and somehow the IDF could keep that secret -

Okay but we werent talking about if Trump is a liar This debate is about Project 2025 and does it align with Trumps policies that he wants to implement Are you saying you believe Trump will in fact implement a Federal ban on abortion if he wins the election? Im not sure if you aware but his wife, Melania, is openly pro-choice but respects pro-life views https://www.axios.com/2024/10/02/melania-trump-abortion-rights-memoir " What she's saying: In her first memoir, set to be released Tuesday, Melania Trump wrote that it's "imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government," per The Guardian. "Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?" she questioned. "A woman's fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes." "Restricting a woman's right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life," the former first lady continued. "The slogan 'My Body, My Choice' is typically associated with women activists and those who align with the pro-choice side of the debate," she added. "But if you really think about it, 'My Body, My Choice' applies to both sides — a woman's right to make an independent decision involving her own body, including the right to choose life. Personal freedom."

Thats fine but you acknowledging he doesn't agree with the Federal ban around abortion that Project 2025 espouses? The point is Trumps policies and views are not the same as the Project 2025 doctrine but there are some things he agrees with because they considered standard Conservative policies or policies Trump does believe in Here is one of the images that clearly creates the wrong impression and uses fearmongering as if Project 2025 doctrine is the same as Trumps policies (most of these points you can reference in the 930 page Project 2025 manifesto which is why the pages are included ) So if you interested in the truth you should look at each point individually and see if Trump agrees with them and then you can be concerned Half these things points would be rejected and challenged at the state level in Democratic controlled states , I cant imagine liberal California banning gender studies or African American history but Texas might

But there has been reporting on the damage done outside of Tel Aviv and within Tel Aviv, the general international media isnt misreporting on the actual damage done https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c70w1j0l488o https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/01/world/video/iran-missile-attack-aftermath-video-israel-digvid " Just north of Tel Aviv on Wednesday, close to the Mossad’s headquarters, a BBC correspondent found several badly damaged cars and a pile of earth next to a road where a missile impact was said to have caused a crater between 8m and 10m deep. The nearby municipality of Hod HaSharon also said about 100 houses were damaged by a missile explosion and shrapnel. And a video released by the IDF showed the head of its Home Front Command visiting a school that was hit by a missile in the Gedera area, just to the east of Ashkelon, causing extensive damage to a classroom. The Wall Street Journal cited US officials as saying that missiles that targeted Nevatim airbase caused minor damage. However, the IDF declined to comment, saying it would not provide information that would help Iran understand the effectiveness of its attack. Israel’s Magen David Adom ambulance service paramedics treated two people with light injuries from shrapnel in the Tel Aviv area, as well as some people with minor injuries caused by falling as they moved to shelters." And then even Israeli media is reporting on damage done https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-acknowledges-some-iranian-missiles-hit-airbases-no-major-damage-caused/ -

How much damage was done to targets, do you have credible links ? Most international media houses have active journalists reporting from within Tel Aviv and Im not sure why Sky or CNN would misreport on the real damage So if you can provide some links reporting on what we not being told that would be appreciated -

Yes I firmly believe Iran having nukes would make the ME much more unstable under the threat of nuclear war and then the Sunni states would also want them So you would now see a nuclear arms race in the ME amongst several Arab countries Israel has nukes but they dont threaten to use them because they deny having them. Israel has nukes as a doomsday response if they ever nuked. They dont need nukes to fight wars or defend themselves I can guarantee you the moment Iran gets nukes they would threaten to use them like NK or Russia And how would Iran getting nukes resolve the Israeli vs Palestinian conflict? Are we more likely to see a 2 state solution because Iran has nukes? -

I watched an interesting interview with Bennett, former Israeli PM, and he suggested this attack on Israel is the justifiable opportunity to attack Iran and destroy and its nuclear program It does make some sense on certain levels but its a serious military objective and then the US would have to get involved and Im not sure how much appetite there is for that type of involvement from US under a Biden presidency. If Trump was president US support would be much more likely Because we dont want Iran getting nukes and Bennett's basically saying this is now the time to act against Iran and its nuclear program? -
This is my most anticipated movie this year, I cant wait. I watched The Witch by Eggers and it was very dark and entertaining. So I have very high expectations for Noseratu Also the latest Salems Lot remake is coming out on the 3 October, it also looks excellent

https://www.npr.org/2024/09/30/nx-s1-5133463/israel-lebanon-hezbollah-invasion Israel has started a land invasion\limited raids into Lebanon with an understandable objective of getting Hezbollah to stop firing rockets into Israel The interesting part of this land invasion is what are the achievable end goals, the last Israeli invasion into Lebanon in 2006 didnt go as planned for Israel and they underestimated Hezbollah's resistance This time I assume they will push back or kill any Hezbollah military presence in southern Lebanon so its harder to fire missiles But then what? I cant imagine Israel occupying southern Lebanon so will it be a more effective and committed UNSC mission or the Lebanese army that ensures Hezbollah doesnt come back in 10 years? The sustainability of the end goal is the biggest question and unknown part of this Israeli campaign -
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8rdygy5888o I must say your country is very fragmented around different political views No majority by a long way. Its not a bad outcome because it shows the strength of different political opinions, thats one of the benefits of Democracy It will be interesting to see how the coalitions are now formed and FPO will have to abandon its more controversial right-wing policies if it aligns with another more left party to become a majority? What does SPO believe in?

@Pidesco Let me give you an example so its clear what I mean Project 2025 believes in a Federal ban on abortion, Trump has said he doesn't believe in that and he will leave it up to states to decide Do you think Trump is lying about that and if he wins the election he will implement a Federal ban? This is just one example of where he doesnt support what Project 2025 believes should be policy
-
If you can post the links around how Trump is planning to implement Project 2025 that would be interesting
-
Project 2025? But thats not the official policy of Trump, this has been clarified many times by the Trump campaign https://www.npr.org/2024/08/22/g-s1-19202/trump-project-2025-border-immigration ""They've been told officially, legally, in every way, that we have nothing to do with Project 25,” Trump said. “They know it, but they bring it up anyway. They bring up every single thing that you can bring up. Every one of them was false.” The Heritage Foundation is just one of over 100 Conservative thinktanks that has people who advise Trump or might advise Trump if he wins Project 2025 is a 930 document and some Conservative ideas in that document are normal Conservative views that Trump claims to support But there is constant fake news suggestions that Trump is going to implement the entirety of Project 2025 if he wins , including the worst policies, and thats not true

That doesnt change the reality that no country would accept rockets being fired into its territory or that large parts of Israel have been evacuated because of these attacks https://www.lemonde.fr/en/international/article/2024/09/27/displaced-israelis-in-jerusalem-applaud-ongoing-offensive-in-lebanon_6727481_4.html And if Hezbollah was not firing rockers into Israel then Israel would not be involved in this latest military campaign into Lebanon You cant objectively ignore the direct responsibility that Hezbollah has around this escalation
