  1. It reminded me of the scene from Bachelor Party, when Gary screams and runs into the shower.
  2. Okay, see now that's funny. If anything the joke is aimed at the Firedorn.
  3. Can someone please tell me what this joke was that pissed off the LGBT crowd? I just got into a nasty verbal fight with some of them over on another site. Was it that bad?
  4. Yes, I found this in another thread as well, thank you.
  5. So what if I don't see digital rewards below on my products page? I've got the game but nothing else. Anyone else not seeing theirs? Digital Downloadable Copy of Project Eternity, DRM free for Windows, Mac, or Linux. Kickstarter only in-game achievement and item. Project Eternity Kickstarter Backer Forum Badge. Digital download of the Cooking with Tim Cookbook – An RPG-themed e-Cookbook. Digital download of the making of Pillars of Eternity Documentary. Digital Downloadable Soundtrack in MP3 and FLAC. Digital Collector's Book.
  6. Clearly this is smack in the face to us on the east coast, that we have wait until noon and you guys on west get to play first thing in the morning. Obsidian, why do you hate us?
  7. Then it really would feel shoe horned in if they did that. I say do it right, make it fully integrated into the story or don't do it at all. You bring in someone who's only job is to write, "oh I love you" and "oh I love you too" and "not as much as I love you" lines than its going feel stupid.
  8. I just never considered the romances in BG2 to be a huge deal. I mean there were no sex scenes or kissing or even a hug. It was all in the dialogue...you say the right things and all of sudden one of the NPCs is in love with you. There wasn't much of challenge there. So I think your a little off base with PoE not truly being a spiritual successor to those games. IWD was also mentioned and from what I understood they were taking elements from both those games. I actually much prefer the 'Fade to Black' of BG and KotOR than to the awkward scenes BioWare has now. If all I wanted to see was the sex show anyway I have the internet for that. Well and that kind of goes the sentiment that romance in video games is just awkward in general. I recently replayed MotB and didn't even realize Safiya was romance-able until the very end and she was all like "my love" this and "my love" that. Maybe if the dialogue is done right and carefully crafted throughout the game it could be a benefit but my experience with romances in RPGs is at best they are silly and at worst they are distracting.

  10. I won't be reading any previews, reviews, impressions, etc. I want to experience the game for myself. After I complete it I may go back and read these.
  11. Steam, no real strong reason, I like GOG too but I find Steam more convenient.
