I have just played a little bit and I'm in love with the Onyx engine, it's a nice suprise after playing The Witcher 2 that the game runs well on the max settings on my old Geforce 9800 card. Also I was a little bit suprised with the amount of dialogue and "lore bookshelves" (and that is probably the main reason why some H'n'S fans weren't satisfied with the demo). The gameplay is really nice, the graphics are great (at least on PC), once again BSIDIAN delivered!

There's a key you have to press to make the graphics in DK go from this low rez, pixel city crud to something better, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is. I had the same issue even back when it was released. It still looks fine on my 23" monitor today. imo. Altho I always played zoomed out all the way, never all in close, and if you were using DosBox or something, I can't speak to how it works using that. You can download DK FX mod, which gives support for widescreen resolutions. Also I love, love, love Dungeon Keeper. It's a shame though that Deeper Dungeons expansion pack isn't included in the gog's release.

If it is a real language. I'm pretty sure they were just tossing out sounds that looked like language. STFU Also, the most creative way to announce that they're hiring ever. (: "Marketing Director 2 let's people do, what they always wanted to do, to play the most advanced real-time strategy game ever, during their working hours)

They did, they completely remade the face model. (A lot of people didn't like the first version) The cover is a render of the high poly version, though in the game, due to less realistic and "rough" textures, geralt looks younger and more like in the first Witcher game.

I love it. He looks exactly like he did in books. Seriously the face is perfect!

I don't know what to think, the studio doesn't have any experience with rpg genre besides one terrible hack'n'slash (Loki). On the other hand:

I found something interesting, Nameless Hero & Xardas - It seems, that's Risen is indeed set in the same universe as Gothics.

It would be super rad! Also, Fargo is following both MCA & Feargus (And he is following only 18 people on twitter)

New gameplay The soundtrack sounds very much like the work of Kai Rozenkranz for gothic series and risen (Could KaiRo be involved?) except for the battle track, which sounds very german heavy/power metal.

Now that is quite encouraging, I might be getting the game eventually

You can always try to sell the head on ebay, or to give to some friend who bought The Witcher 2 on GOG . I'm definitely getting Collector's Edition by the way, partly because it's dirty cheap in Poland (circa 70 $), but mostly for the dice set and the artbook, I am sucker for this kind of things. I really hope the game won't let me down, I really liked the first game.

Damn, since it is the same studio I hoped it will be at least as fun as the first Painkiller was..

"Whole big new world" doesn't really make sense for a action rpg XBLA title. What about XBLA title being only the first game in the universe (sort of introduction for future AAA Rpgs)

Could it be that this secret project based on super license is in fact Ultima 10? I somehow doubt it's WoT, because it was already sort of announced, and Feargus already was excited about it. Sawyer's & Avellone's project indeed seems to be XBLA game.

Or maybe Baldur's Gate 3? He seems very excited, but it can be anything. I don't know how nerdy Feargus is, but it may also very well be a Firefly or Star Trek RPG.

Why not? It's Techland doing it, the guys who made the excellent Call of Juarez, the great Xpand Rally and the good Chrome. Very nice to see something new from this game. I have been following it for three (!) years (check the old "what are you looking forward to" threads) and I suspected it was becoming vapourware. Call of Juarez games were awesome. I definetly look forward to try this one.

I still want to believe it's Homeworld 3 not COH2. THQ wouldn't buy IP from Activision just to sit on it, at least I hope so..

The art direction in the game scene concept looks very nice! But can we assume the game is still being made?
