  1. I want the DLC to be Fallout New Vegas: Episode 1,2,3 "Because were so nice we've decided to add one new (and exciting) gameplay feature per DLC!"
  2. If you're selling stuff because you are running out of storage space you might want to carry an enemies' head with you since they have infinate storage space.
  3. In New Vegas you can get extra stuff from others that you have helped out if a particular skill is high enough. Is this okay? They've already rewarded you, are you entitled to ask for more stuff(the lines associated with these are usually lies or harsh statements) I haven't left the first town yet so I don't know if it changes.(I never used these and I wanted to give some of the stuff I got when asking for more supplies to help deal with an invading force.) How about in real life?
  4. It's a vastly expanded version of developer diaries, so there is a lot of good new stuff in it. Also, the comic will give you a decent amount of background on lore, especially concerning Great Khans, NCR and Chairmen. Hmm, it din't feel like a making of, most of it was information on the story, not how the developers came to create that information. The comic book felt the same, chances are I will find out about those things in game,(That or I'm stupid and missed its subtleties) A creature clipped on a fence witch went away when I reloaded the save, no other bugs I've seen. -Is there a downside to Karma or should I just go around stealing stuff? The info page in the game does not mention any negatives.
  5. I'm Angry that the Making of DVD is all the developer diaries put together and that the comic doesn't teach me anything new about the game. The Crafting menu is annoying to navigate, how about you select a weapon and then see what you can craft for that weapon? A button that highlights stuff you can pick-up would be nice(and recording the locations of plants assuming they respawn.). Playing on a PS3 with no problems whatsoever.
  6. -Mister, what happens if I click two buttons at once?
  7. No, simply Click-Pause-Click stuff like that, the pause being tied to an attack animation. -Mr. what happens if I click two buttons at once?
  8. Um, they got paid to just make the game. Din't Mr. Avellone talk about how developers get money? People have a somewhat paradoxical view on money, it is also convenient to send money yourself than to start any sort of movement. Some Fellow put up an 8 minute gameplay video, I think that in hardcore reloading in Vats should cost AP and that melee attacks should stop one from using a gun momentarily, forcing an enemy or you to back-up. The ability to stop the notification messages on the top left would be nice.
  9. Bethesda Softworks LLCa ZeniMax Media company1370 Piccard Drive, Suite 120Rockville, MD 20850Phone: (301) 926-8300Fax: (301) 926-8010 I think Obsidian would get in trouble if they got money. Nice way of protesting ya?
  10. Send them a check(to Zenimax) for the price of the game, silly. Or buy the game and get a third party patch.
  11. Are you guys planning Patch any problems for the PS3? From what I Understand the PS3 version was only patched once.
  12. Dan dan daaaan, no review of New Vegas in this months Game Informer.
  13. I hope that there is a way to lower the visual noise, if four characters were playing at once it might be hard to know whats going on. I think there should be a way for someone dropping in to tell which attack does what to a particular enemy. How do you guys feel about rumble? Its something that is completely unnecessary but can be used to increase the enjoyment of the game; It can also be used for gameplay(If a particular attack is ineffective the controller would vibrate differently than if it was, or if your about to be hit by something)
  14. I guess I described this incorrectly, I Don't mean timing your click in accordance with the enemy, I meant that you can use an enhanced version of the same attack by using a different set of clicks.
  15. Assuming that in Dungeon Seiege 3 one click equals one attack, timing your clicks would give you an enhanced or different attack.
  16. This might have already been mentioned, but it looks like that with this game the creators are trying to create a balance between depth and ease for the drop-in/out multiplayer. There has also been some mention of fighting games; I think that one of the ways to achieve this is through a timed attack system, players that have just joined a game can simply pick a skill and repeatedly click on an enemy, while one that pauses between clicks gets a stronger attack or a different version of it. the former player could also find this by accident(akin to how someone playing Street Fighter might pull off a special move by button smashing.)
  17. How are these planned and developed? Do they allow for more freedom in terms of adding more things in?
  18. People do not like to admit their mistakes; since religion functions as a guide as to how one should live and most religions do not leave room for others, it makes sense for some believers to think wrong of those that do not share their beliefs. Since most have friends that do not share the same religion, this turns into"well, as long you have a religion..." hence the question.
  19. Unless that pricepoint is free, I disagree. people that are so young that they cannot legally get jobs and have access to a home computer will probably pirate, that is because it is something that is convenient, and free. I'm sure that there are also either poor people, people that spend their money on something else, or people that buy only games they know they want and either pirate the rest or buy used(return within seven days get money back)/rent games. I also think most pricepoints are silly, specially those that are very hard to make a profit on. It also encourages some people/media to think/say: "well this isn't worth 60, I'll buy it at 40/20/10/used/on a Steam sale(5 old/indie games for 10 dollars? How does the developer profit? How can a start-up possibly compete with a dirt cheap, old AAA title? Or a new PSN/Steam/XBLA game funded by a large publisher)" As a side note it pisses me off when the order of platforms is Xbox/PS3/PC oh man, that is so Irritating!
  20. If a significant majority of customers do not have the incentive(either by being inconvienced by something they bought, or because it allows them to run and play the games they own with more ease,or because its free) to pirate software how can it be such a big issue? Are these multi-billion/million corporations overeacting? Are they simply not able to adjust to how there are so many other ways for people to find entertainment?
  21. 1. I think under the DMCA you are(if burning back-ups of Movies counts as a felony then using a no-cd crack or something similar is probably as well) 2. Thats obvious, however if you inconvenience customers like in AC2's case, the most likely option is the above, its easy and much faster than waiting for a fix. 3. I disagree, people in first world countries don't know how the internet works, but they can upload pictures, videos, know about file formats, ect. They are around computer technology or use it daily. Also pirating data is easy and has a low risk,(of course chances are that it is one of the ways that black hat hackers and spam companies steal their bandwidth but viruses and the like are mostly created for the sole commercial purpose of stealing unused bandwidth, not deleting your hard drive and putting a funny message on your monitor.)
  22. Um, people that bought Assassin's Creed 2 or any game with DRM that gave them issues either waited for an official fix, returned the game, or used some form of piracy. Is it reasonable to say that a significant ammount of non-technical consumers got so pissed off at something they purchased that they turned to piracy? Or people that lost or broke their game disks? Digital stores are very recent, the extreme convinced offered by these was and still is available in the form of piracy(except piracy is even more convenient) I remember very well the time I found out I was only a few kilobytes of CD-cracks away from importing my entire game collection to my hard drive. Also I remember hearing some of my friends in elementary school(5th grade) talking about modding their PS2's/Gameboys(I can't remember which one) Maybe this means other kids were too(Oh snap! A friend in Middle school burned me a copy Battlezone so I could play with him! the game did not run but I still have disc from back then!! Holy crap, thanks. )
  23. Doesn't almost half the money go to pay for the box, retailer, shipping, shelf space ect? A lot of money is spent making the game/movie/ect but thats not were all of it goes Speaking of which, who pays for an interview or preview? The "journalist" or the publisher?
